Seriusly, we need to get off the matrix... WI-Fi IS killing

"They' new this for awhile. The study was on users exposed to 1/2 hour day to WI-FI. Most people are exposed 10 times more than that per day! Population control and greed....

I can scream when I see younger adults buying their children, sickly of course, a tablet instead of toys like GI Joe and small plastic army men.

I almost turned around and knocked the cell phone out of an older ladies hand last year when she yelled out and kissed her cell phone while saying, I LOVE YOU FACEBOOK!"

OMG...What type of society have we become(

I, too, deplore the media-saturation that has made us into spectators instead of participants in life.

But I think the Internet, as full of nonsense and propaganda as it often is, is better than the old one-way media (radio, newspapers, television) because there are opportunities for people without billions of dollars to become publishers and broadcasters themselves. This removes much of the advantage the Jews had under the old media paradigm.

Of course, few of our people take advantage of that potential. The vast majority remain spectators. And, of those who do make their mark by publishing, 90 per cent. of what they put out is worthless or harmful.

I doubt the adverse health claims about wi-fi. I have been a broadcast engineer and amateur radio experimenter and exposed to far higher RF fields than those produced by wi-fi routers and cell telephones, with no discernible health problems. Plants grow like crazy right at the base of high-power RF transmission towers, and show no signs of abnormal development.

I even made direct contact with RF energy from a 100-Watt transmitter a few times when I was just learning radio as a teenager, and it burned the skin on my hands. It healed completely in a few weeks. I am nearly 60 now and there is no evidence of any long-term damage whatsoever.

Wi-fi seldom runs more than a few Watts, usually substantially less than a Watt of power.

Now, I think it's unwise to put your body right in front of a directional dish or panel antenna carrying a Watt of wi-fi, since the antenna can boost the effective power of the signal up to the equivalent of 1,000 Watts or so. And RF energy in the microwave region can heat up body parts, and it's the heating effects that cause problems -- nothing else is proven. And sometimes I wonder about even the tenth of a Watt to a Watt or so from a cell phone right next to my brain for hours on end, even though there's no discernible heating -- so it may be prudent to use a speakerphone on long calls.

The scare videos of people popping corn with a cell phone are hoaxes. There's not enough energy in 50 cell phone batteries put together to pop a bag of popcorn -- and all the energy has to come from the battery.

With all good wishes,

Kevin.

Rock, you must have meant "Siriusly..." http://www.siriusxm.com/

For various reasons I'm finally going to be forced to get a "smart phone." Any recommendations? Will having one put me in the matrix? :|

I'll still not do Facebook or Tweet.

That's a good start to privacy.

Now while phones are inherently insecure, there are a few things you can try doing. If you have to get a "smart" phone, I would insist on using Android over Blackberry or Apple.

One easy way to stay safe is to use free programs and services (free as in freedom, not necessarily financially free).

Instead of using email providers like Facebook, Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo! Mail, Yandex Mail, or even Hushmail, use any of these privacy-conscious email services.

Instead of using file storage services like Dropbox, Google Drive, or Microsoft's OneDrive, use ownCloud.

For fiances, look into Bitcoin or Litecoin instead of PayPal. WeUseCoins is a helpful guide for newbies. Please note that new, digital currencies may be very volatile. Complete loss of your investment is possible for a number of reasons (software errors or attacks, identity theft, etc.) That being said, I strongly encourage all members (as well as the National Alliance as an organization) to look into various decentralized crypto-currencies as potential payment options. This allows people to donate anonymously, which may be of vital importance in oppressive countries.

Instead of AOL Instant Messenger, Apple Messages, Facebook, Google Hangouts, Skype, Trillian, VIber Messenger, or WhatsApp, try ChatSecure (awesome guide here), Cryptocat, Linphone, or Xabber.

The only web browser you should be using on your phone (or desktop, for that matter) is Firefox. Ditch Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera, Yandex Browser, and any other internet browser. For the most anonymous web browsing, use Tor (Orbot on mobile), but do not use this to log into any website that can be used to identify you. In other words, use Tor/Orbot to look up how to treat an ailment you don't want anyone else to know about, but do not use Tor/Orbot for banking. Also note that due to the heavy amount of encryption, your browsing speed while using Tor will be slow, so refrain from downloading large files.

Use DuckDuckGo or startpage rather than Bing, Google, Yahoo, or Yandex.

Avoid Apple Maps, Bing Maps, and Google Earth. OsmAnd or OpenStreetMap do not keep logs of your searches like proprietary services do.

Here is a guide on making your phone as secure as possible, but it requires that you have any flavor of Linux installed on your computer instead of OS X or Windows.

Although the battle for security is a difficult one, each step to stay safer from threats helps.

Thanks for that advice, WGS. Please advise me further, privately, on narrowing the choices? http://www.cnet.com/topics/phones/best-phones/android/

You're good at this. All that is information overload for a technophobe like me, though. :? I do have one other question:

What is your opinion of Stripe? We're looking into that as an alternative to Paypal. http://viget.com/advance/accepting-dona ... e-can-help

This is the first time I've heard of Stripe, but it looks like they accept Bitcoin as well! I read on their website that "Stripe charges 2.9% + 30¢ per successful charge, or less based on volume". I assume that this is more or less the industry standard when it comes to transaction fees. I hate to keep shilling for Bitcoin, but there are no transaction fees and the payments are made instantly; no waiting involved. Nonetheless, Stripe looks good enough for now, and much more preferable when compared to Paypal. :)

RockOfAges, you need to stop reading so much Orwell. Wi Fi is not population control -.-
Any digital output is bad in large doses. And I doubt awake whites spend all their time on computers like average idiots do, in their vain attempts to prove their worth to one another

Moderation is the key.
