White students attacked with rocks and bricks at
Western Cape University

Cape Peninsula University of Technology [CPUT] was the scene of a violent race riot last Friday. Hundreds of black students protested the University and blocked the main gate.

The University stopped allowing students with unpaid tuition bills to continue registering for new
classes. The protesters were demanding the right to continue attending the University without paying.

When white students tried to get in, they were attacked. Many victims had rocks and bricks thrown at them. The protesters blamed the white victim for the violence. They claim white students "assaulted them” to try to get to class. The victims say they arrived at college to find the black protesters armed with sticks, rocks, and bricks and were attacked without provocation.

CPUT is the largest University in Western Cape with over 32,000 students. It is ranked as the 12th best University in South Africa, and the 2,894th in the world.

A student struck by a brick said he was next to the gate when the protesters attacked him and his friends. They all asked that their names not be published.

“They threw a brick at my head. I was standing here doing nothing. When we got here, they were already standing with bricks and stones in hand. Then they started throwing them at people,” he said.

He said the protesters did not want other students to attend their classes.

“Why do you have to shut the whole university and start throwing stones at people just to make a point? Why can’t you talk like civilised people to one another? Why do you need to attack people?” said another CPUT student who had been injured in the fight.

Students who were not part of the protest found themselves forced out of classes, the library and from their buses. Public Order Police arrived to intervene and used stun grenades to disperse the crowd.

CPUT spokesman Thami Nkwanyana could not confirm if there had been any damage to property on Thursday. At the CPUT campus in Cape Town, lectures were suspended and students told to go home. Security kept a close watch.

The protest started on Monday when two students were arrested. They were released on Tuesday, when CPUT management held a meeting with the Student Representative.Council (SRC) in an attempt to resolve the students’ grievances. Several windows were smashed during the protest.

The students demanded that the university allow the registration of students who owed the institution money, Nkwanyana said.

Witnesses who found the couple at 2 am this
morning said that they found Melvin Lawson lying
in a pool of blood and his wife, Susanna Lawson,
was on fire.

It is suspected that they were killed at around 7pm last night and were only burnt this morning.

The couple’s house was believed to have been burgled three weeks ago.

Suspects are unknown at this stage but police have opened up a case of double murder.

Shoppers injured in alleged racist attack

Two shoppers were attacked by a group of approximately 15 people in East Rand Galleria at
around 5pm on Sunday, March 1.

Koch was attacked by an unknown man in East Rand Galleria.

Daniel * (26) and Nadine * (28) were done with tjeir shopping when the attack occurred inside the mall.

An altercation between the victims and another co-shopper started at a pay point queue at a Galleria store.

Daniel and Nadine claim they were first verbally abused, which was allegedly racial in nature. They then decided to defuse the situation by leaving the store.

“The next moment we were physically attacked by a group of people,” said the shoppers.

Nadine sustained a minor concussion while her forehead was split open which required six stitches. She also suffered a swollen eye and bruises all over her body.

Koch sustained a minor concussion while her forehead was split open.

Daniel suffered fractured ribs, a swollen head and bruises over his body.

A criminal case has been opened at the Boksburg North SAPS.

The East Rand Galleria manager, Lee-Anne van der Nest, refrained to comment on the incident.

Businessman murdered in South Africa

DAILYKENN.com -- A 53-year-old man was murdered in South Africa Friday morning.
-
John and Linda Lyons awoke to find two gunmen in their home in Pretoria.
-
The intruders bound their victims, but Mr. Lyons was able to free himself.
-
A scuffle ensued between Lyons and one of the burglars. The intruder fell from a balcony during the fight. Apparently his gun discharged and Lyons died at the scene from a chest wound.
-
His wife was unharmed, but obviously distraught by the murder.
-
The unidentified burglars escaped with a cell phone stolen from the residence.
-
The crime was reported March 7, 2015.

• Lyons is one of thousands of whites who have been murdered by blacks since apartheid was replaced with the government of black terrorist, Nelson Mandela.

South African firm ordered to lay off 3,389 white
employees

South African president, and admitted rapist, Jacob Zuma.

A South African utility company has been given an ultimatum to reduce it’s number of white employees by 44.3% over the next five years. This means 3,389 whites have to go. It is part of the Federal “Black Empowerment” program.

For years, Eskom has been under orders to only hire non-whites as new employees. The firm says it is having major problems finding enough qualified non-white applicants. Currently, Eskom’s mjddle managers are 30% white and it’s skilled labor force is 21% white.

Eskom to reduce it’s safety requirements to make it easier for non-white applicants to qualify for jobs. /b]

engineers by 1,081, and the number of white
skilled laborers by 2,179.
