Continued from Empyrean (Part Seven)
The Jews in America, it’s a tawdry and cheap tale by now, but some fifty years ago it meant business. The story is a tangled one but it has to do with the fact that some crazed lunatics called Puritans came to the clean breast of the green New World and set up something called A City On A Hill, echoing no less a person than Jesus Christ. And while the love of their own race was strong the Americans harbored within their bosom wild lunatics given over to millenarian fantasies, and from time to time the population would rise up psychotically and like dervishes turn their towns into burnt over districts. Any sane person at the time would have seen that nothing good could come from this. And so the various freaks and fools in the land began to dream up myths that America was the Asylum Of Nations, the in gathering of all the races of the earth who would link up in Kansas on their knees to give praise to Yahweh. We Germans had to learn the hard way about this Country that when we goggled over the bravery of them going overland in covered wagons and shooting through the passes and killing the Indians not to forget this other side, this mania, this Bible Reading and this chapel like idiocy. In fact when the Jews in their millions poured out of the Eastern Ghettos they found in many respects a morally supine nation which was helpless in the face of their hidden assaults. And so the Jews began to own the Organs of the Press and in every way possible began their appeal to the so called better angels of their natures. This was the ideological assault written under the banner of the American Creed, the anthropology of Boaz, and the lachrymose slogan One Race, The Human Race. But with the Jews one always has to look at what they do. In the wake of the Jewish Revolution in Russia (1917) the Jews in America formed the Communist Party of America (1919). The goals of this party run by Jews was to overthrow the government of the United States of America. And as I tell my students with any historical phenomena it is best to consider it as a child might. According to Jewish lights the Jews were a people in mortal peril in Russia and a country on the other side of the world took them in and gave them life. Were they grateful? No, they were not. For no sooner were they in the new land than they organized a party whose sole aim was to destroy their benefactors. What kind of people do such a thing? The Jews—the evil people. This is now a matter of historical record, but then of course my charge is not to persuade anyone of anything, but merely to record.
Of course once the Russians had been swiftly dealt with (Stalin was ferreted from his bolt hole and hung in a public square for we Germans do nothing in dark corners) it was the Americans we had to contend with. So baffling to us was our sudden victory that we could sense their entire nation reeling. For out of nowhere this Roosevelt, this invalid, this sick cripple, this huddle of deformity, this rancid bag of bones, was cast from his perch, and a strange ambivalence seemed to paralyze the nation. By then we had swept across Asia and all down through Africa and the entire continent was one giant German Fortress. Hitler immediately made his magnanimous speech saying he wanted nothing but for Germany, England, and America to rule the world in concert. We were gratified that the Americans let the speech be heard by the public. But still there were vast reservoirs of holdouts, the bitter enders who would rather die with a lie on their lips than walk in the cold light of truth. They had an election that year and of course Lindbergh’s name began to be reconsidered. We are duly skeptical of this man who for all his greatness had thrown his hat in the fray of the war once it was declared. Indeed, one of our more thorough and dogged researchers dredged up the fact that in a speech in 1939 he had said that if America wanted democracy so badly it should begin by giving it to the negros in the South. What can one do with such madness except label it and move on?
The troubled and troubling aspects of the American situation (we assumed that they were on the path to the bomb by 1944) led us to be canny; it was well known to us that the American administration was riddled by Jewish traitors (what we knew half a world away seemed to baffle the stultified American public awash in Jewish lies); and so once we broke out at Stalingrad the race was on for the prize: the archives. So pell mell was the flight that we found them in pristine conditions. And our forensic researchers did not take long to find the Rhine Gold. A series of cables which proved that up to five hundred communists (most of them Jews needless to say and all of them Jew lovers and fellow travelers) were on the payroll of what we jocularly referred to as Uncle Sam. Mainly they were at the Department Of State, The Department Of Agriculture, and (insane as it is to say) in the Army. So sensitive were these document that once we knew what they held we held off and invited a team of Americans to pore over them with us. Within months we had a three-volume book which outlined and proved what we knew all along. What we wondered at the time was would there be treason trials.
In concluding this portion of my history of Germany (for the history of America is the history of Germany) I will reproduce the small speech uttered by our Fuhrer for the occasion, a speech which was given due to what we knew was the epochal nature of what we found. For we felt that a vacillating nation would vacillate no more when the truth, confirmed by themselves, was that the nation had been sold out to foreign enemies. If this was not the straw that would break the Jews back we knew there was no such straw. But it was. Indeed the books we had produced were being sold in drug stores they say and, as they used to say in the land of the free, were selling like hot dogs at a ballgame. The books listed no author, as the truth needs no attribution.
I speak to you the Americans on behalf of the German people. We are one people, we are all the various branches of the same people, born on the grasslands of Europe and spread out now over the earth. I say to you that I have always loved America and its great people. I loved your drive, your energy, your courage and your unlimited inventiveness. Flung from Europe you conquered a continent and from a wilderness you created a nation and civilization which has always been at the frontier of our people. How my heart ached in the Great War when we were sunk in savage fury in our internecine and our fratricidal war. Let that never happen again! We now have our long fought for chance, the chance to finally bring a Just Peace to this earth, and our people will have the time with foresight and wisdom to direct our own destiny. I assure you that the hemisphere that is yours will be yours forever. It was your destiny all along and now I bequeath it to you.
As you surely know you now have in your possession the proof that within your ranks you have had enemies who sought your destruction. We compiled this record with the help of your people and we did so with dispassion. How you choose to sort out this new fact I leave up the wisdom of your people. My only advice is to discharge of it as quickly as you can so we can enter the noble future together as one people, as the one people which we have always been and we now always will be. They say that fate awaits no man but now we hold it in our hands. So now I offer in magnanimity and in pride and in love the thing which has eluded man until now but is in our grasp; a glorious future which will entail victory upon victory and which will last a thousand years and more. Hail America, hail Germany.
They say our Fuhrer was well pleased with his performance as well he might have been. That is had its intended effect is well known by now as the Old America, the America that had always been, rose up to the challenge.

What led me to my current prominent position was a rather simple monograph called The Satirical Marr. For just as that great Aryan Swift had mocked the powers with his proposal to eat the children of Ireland and just as he had given us dispassionate and noble horses who disdained our mud dwelling fellows so too did Marr send his shockwaves through a complacent Europe. His message was: German Finis. That such a statement was shocking at the time was its very message. How could the Germany of his day, the Germany of scholarship, of science, of the universities, of its culture, of its coming place in the sun, be finished? And for too many like Cassandra with her supposed wild and whirring words he was not believed. But the prophet with prescience sees the threads of the time, the bread crumbs of history and extrapolates them into the far seeing future. He saw everywhere the insidious and sinister rise of the Hebrews in all areas, in culture, in finance, in politics, and in his The Victory of Judaism over Germandom (1879) he warned that the Jewish spirit and Jewish consciousness have overpowered the world. He wrote that the Jews had been engaging in a 2000 year worldwide conspiracy against the Aryan peoples that was about to succeed, indeed had succeeded. He called for resistance against this foreign power before it was too late. Marr thought that before long there will be absolutely no public office, even the highest one, which the Jews will not have usurped. We need not defend the truth of this surmise as by now it is plain for all to see. That he put it in such draconian terms, as if the war were over, as if it had been lost, which was so troubling at the time, was his great stroke of genius; read literally it is a tract of defeatism. But so insensible are most people that they need dire statements to awake them from their slumbers. Writing as if in clinical post mortem, about the war which was lost, about why the war was lost, and to inculcate the fact for the most benighted of his audience that a war was even being fought was his intent. Indeed, I consider this tract to be the most important polemical piece ever written. To have German awaken to the peril in its midst, to have them realize the stakes that were at play, and with clinical and seemingly dry prose rouse us to our destiny, was what he achieved in a small piece no more than a pamphlet. All hail Wilhelm Marr! By supposing defeat he was a key link in our victory. And to make a great people come to its senses is the chief function of the prophet. No need now to write a tract called Judea Finis—it’s plain for all the world to see, the facts as they always do speak for themselves. For our patience once exhausted we saw the Jews for what they were—the very negation of being—and took the only steps necessary to do the one thing needful: shut their lying mouths. For was it not our great Fuhrer who upon arriving in Vienna had seen his first Jew and who, goggle-eyed, was astounded. And he asked himself is this a German? Is this a human being? By now all the questions have been answered by time and time, as everyone knows, is the court of final appeal.
