Squawking In California

It seems like not that long ago I was writing an essay about the word squaw and how the bird brains in charge of this county are squawking about how it’s now verboten and any place name that has squaw in has to be changed and on the double. But now the lame brains are at it again and a big new round of renaming must occur and presumably they are going to make a clean sweep of it this time; so much so that for anyone who is not a regular reader of White Biocentrism or National Vanguard the one time existence of the word squaw will be a but a rumor. I for one object to their predicate; when it comes to naming simple and naïve and inconsequential Indian women who spent their lives carrying water from point A to Point B or occasionally joining in with a bit of shuffling with her moccasined feet for a pointless rain dance it seems that the word squaw is appropriate and to the point. If they should be ashamed of anything (and they most definitely should) it’s that their people were on this resource rich continent for some 14 millennia and instead of working hard and tapping into it and creating a juggernaut of power whereby they could ascend to the next rung on the cosmic evolutionary scale they puttered around hunting and gathering, painting their face to make them look ridiculous, killed off the all the charismatic megafauna in a bloody animal genocide, had petty wars among themselves, and got high on Ayahuasca to the point where the Navajo were so stoned out of their minds that they thought they could walk in the sky. They could not, but they can lie about it now and be seen as some kind of spirit avatars and never again have to have their flat faced women called squaw.

“California officials announced on Friday (November 15 2024) they will rename all geographic features and places in the state that previously contained the derogatory term squaw. The California Natural Resources Agency said it would remove the word from dozens of streets, bridges, buildings and cemeteries around the state and replace it with names that prioritize Indigenous cultures and languages. The locations to be renamed include Squaw Valley Cemetery in Fresno, Squaw Creek Bridge in Humboldt County and Squaw Peak Lane, in the Los Angeles suburb of Carson.”

What this “Indian and Indigenous culture” they speak of remains a mystery. Madison Grant once said something which was very prescient; around 1910 when the White man still rode herd on the world he noticed that some cracks and fissures were beginning to appear in the noble façade of our rule; Grant and his friends were deeply influential in the anthropology that was taught in the Colleges in America, and Anthropology, as befitted the study of man, was dedicated to the study of race. But at that time Franz Boas was beginning to spread his pernicious anthropological ideology, namely that the races were equal, that cultures were equal, and that a broken vase found in the dirt was equal to a Greek Statue. Madison said that this movement to level cultures meant that Anthropology was heading towards a time when it would no longer study the races of men and their potentialities but would study—pottery shards. And that’s about it, the Indians had no culture worthy of the name, they had vague sky goes who the tried to propitiate with stupid rituals and they had some jumped up jigs and they had beads—and that’s about it. But now American Officialdom is in thrall to the Indian and the Boazian evil has been so successful that it constitutes the landscape of people’s thought—everyone just assumes all cultures are equal and so why not give the Indians their due though they have done nothing worthy to have anyone pay attention to them. The fact is we think about culture all wrong—culture is not an opinion and culture is not an aesthetic theory, culture is a factual emanation of a people’s race soul and you take one look at the zig zag on the Indian vase and then at that Greek statue and you can find out who you should be naming things after.

“These changes, proposed by local communities in strong partnership with California Native people, allow all Californians to move forward from a past that denigrated Native women and into present that embraces the beauty, diversity and potential that are a hallmark of this state, California Tribal Affairs Secretary Christina Snider-Ashtari said in a press release. The moves stem from a 2022 law by Assemblymember James Ramos, a member of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians who said the word dehumanizes Native American women, and follow a similar effort at the federal level by Interior Secretary Deb Haaland to ban the word from federal lands.”

You would think that given that California has 100 odd languages (most of them very odd and downright bizarre, making it the most linguistically diverse region in the world), a sickly proliferating number of Mestizos which qualify the whole state as a Northern Province of Mexico, an inner city black problem which has been gnawing at the vitals of the state for decades; given that this decaying state is deconstructing itself at a vertiginous pace and it has become a mixed race cesspit and criminal haven that they would have better things to focus on that the piddly little word squaw. And the past did not denigrate the squaws, it was just supremely indifferent to them (as it was right to be). Apparently a lot of Indian feminine nouns ended in a “squw” sound, so the Whtie man, not really caring very much, just slapped the label squaw on the females; really once they had done that they did not give it a second thought as they were on the way to building a culture and civilization and were not too worried about the niceties of Indian Language (if there even were any). And it seems that for a long time even the Indian seemed at least relatively satisfied with the word but then they were taught by the Jews to be touchy as hell about everything and they learned that if they pipe up about things they get attention and another round of accolades from the Jewish Press. Indeed by now the standard line is that the term squaw is an ethnic and sexual slur and is considered derogatory, misogynist and racist. That may be strictly speaking the case, but then what is not considered all those things by this timeJ? And even if it were true—who cares?

“The California Advisory Committee on Geographic Names identified dozens of geographic features and places using the word. It is working with local governments and tribal nations to recommend alternatives. For example, the city of West Sacramento is set to formally rename two streets Tebti on the recommendation of the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation early next year. Other places have already seen their names changed after federal action. The U.S. Board on Geographic Names voted in 2023 to change the name of a Fresno County community to Yokuts, which translates to people, after a long fight by local tribal groups that met resistance from some community members. Private businesses have also made changes, most notably the Northern California ski resort that hosted the 1960 Olympics, which renamed itself Palisades Tahoe in 2022. All places identified by the state commission must be formally renamed by Jan. 1, 2025. If local governments fail to choose replacements within 180 days, the law lets the commission step in with a recommendation.”

The Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation did you say? Why, I never. Never heard of them that is and wish I never had. But what I can be sure is that if you are pinning the hopes of your future with a people who have Dehe in your name you have some evil winds blowing in store. And the Yokuts people are one who have long clung to the margins of the evolutionary path and it would have been justice had they gone down its rat hole along time ago. I won't even deign to look up the Yokuts (time is a wasting as always) but you can be sure that they have no claim to fame other than walking nowhere in particular and paddling canoes and wasting space. But then that’s the story of the red men in brief is it no? Once those glaciers melted the traipsed across the Bering Straits and had no competition for 1300 years. Just like those rats in that experiment they had too much space and too much food and they grew soft and lazy. Sure, a few of them fought against each other but that did not steel them for the ascent of the evolutionary ladder. But for most of them life was a rose garden and like the blacks in Africa they saw no reason for drive, discipline and courage. And naturally when the White man showed up it was a wipe out of epic proportions. How could it not have been? But lo these many years later they get the satisfaction of having a river no longer be named Squaw but some kook name they gave themselves. When it comes to the cosmic perspective it’s slim pickings.
