One For Our Side

Red paint on the White statues is one of their preferred methods. The red symbolizes blood and supposedly represents the blood on the hands of the White man. So red is the all purpose color of paints when they want to go after an Andrew Jackson for what he did to the Red Man on that trail, or to a White “slaver” statue in Bristol, or really any icon of any White man in the past who fought valiantly for our race They like to take the red paint and splash it all over the artwork, and then make a big show as if the White race was once wading in a sea blood. Which is why it’s good to see that someone is picking up the cudgel for us, and using White paint to deface black statues. It’s about time that someone struck the blow—and it’s one for our side.
“A sculpture of a Black woman located on the south coast of England was vandalized last week (on May 15 2023) with white spray paint. According to The Art Newspaper 300 volunteers showed up to help restore the statue to its original bronze-y glow. The ten-foot-tall bronze work entitled Seated, from 2022 — which has been temporarily installed outside the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea on England’s south coast — was defaced when the perpetrator covered the entirety of the woman’s skin with white spray paint, according to a statement from the pavilion. Volunteers were invited to help remove the paint and bring the community together in an act of peaceful resistance.”
According the Jews’ accounting white paint is the work of the devil, the White man is the devil, and the White man using white paint even in ordinary circumstances is totally diabolical. Believe it or not some researchers in Norway did a big paper on a certain shade of white paint created by Norwegian scientists—a kind of pure white. This white represented Beelzebub in all of his darkness even when it was used for mundane things like painting a white picket fence white. So if that is from the depths of Hades you can imagine what they think of white paint being used do desecrate and demean a statue of a black woman painted by a black woman---nothing is blacker and nothing is darker and it all emanates from the final circle of hell.
“New York artist Tschabalala Self, known for her colorful multimedia depictions of the Black woman’s body, created a piece called Seated, in 2022. The 10-foot bronze statue, depicting a Black woman dressed in green, was installed at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea and was to reside there until October. However, as expected, someone had to ruin it for everyone.”
And there was that other black woman named Wendy Walters who wrote her opus called Dead White. She put this out in a book which argued against the use of white paint anywhere, that the white of the white paint was “hegemonic” in its talismanic effect, that is it perpetuated the myths of Whiteness. Her white was “dead white” that is vacant and empty and non living though you really suspect that she just wanted to put the word “dead” and “white” in consecutive order to give people what her real idea and ideal was. Surely the white paint used to cover the statue in England was a species of this dead white and of the Norwegian pure white as well. In the end it comes down to all kinds of white that they are against, and when it splashes all over sassy negro sculpture they are all up in arms. But a funny thing always happens on the way to any anti-racist paradise—White people fight back.
“The perpetrator vandalized the piece by covering the woman’s skin in white paint – an obvious racist jab against Black skin. In response, the community reacted to the act of hate by coming together to restore the piece. A similar occurrence happened to the statue of Breonna Taylor placed in downtown Oakland. Two weeks after the bronze bust bust was installed, it was found broken in pieces by most likely, an anti-BLM protestor.”
Those “black bodies” that they talk about so much, the black is beautiful canard, it’s sure that when it comes to that they protest way too much. What they are doing is compensating for the fact that black never has and never will possess the beauty ideal so they exhibit sour grapes and idealize the black female body which nearly always is oversized and ugly. This seated negro that they had to have on display for some reason in England was a total eyesore. It’s the sculptural equivalent of that obese black ape-like woman in the Calvin Klein ads who says she is speaking her “toof” in her Calvins. What she’s really doing of course is causing people to recoil in horror even as she courts diabetes and death. And this so called “Seated” monstrosity is no exception to the rule. It means to be one of those high self esteem sassy negresses, she’s got one of those “stylish” hats on and has her upper torso turned to reveal an enormous back and broad shoulders. Everything about her is hulking and of course her posterior is enormous and her thighs are the legendary thunder thighs. More than a female beauty ideal she looks like a real bruiser who could be a linebacker How anyone could see this as beautiful is baffling, and you can see why some good men were offended by it and decided to take matters into their own very capable hands.
“Self responded to the defacing of her work in a statement to Instagram saying the act was not only an attempt to erase the woman’s brown skin but also her strength. On the other hand, this hateful incident reflects a reality for most Black women. Despite my disappointment I am not surprised as Black, female — and especially Black female bodies — are often targets for abuse. Not even Black art can take up space without racist disturbances. Seated proudly represents the beauty of both blackness and femininity, and for these very reasons she has been harmed: covered by her assailant with white spray paint in a futile attempt to erase her color and, in my mind, her strength.”
This schabalalalalalalaba creature is a real piece of work: The say she was inspired by the works of African-American artist, Romare Bearden. And if you think this must pretty weak inspiration because you’ve never heard of him you are right. And don’t bother to look him up there is nothing there, just weak and indistinct water colors of (hold the phone!) negros, His total and complete lack of talent did not, however, stop him from being feted at the Smithsonian Institution. Self claims that she is “reclaiming” the negro female body through her art when, form what I can glean, what the black body really need is few laps on the treadmill and a few less pieces of super extra fried chicken. She says that is freeing these bodies from stereotypes and creating alternatives around them which is blurb speak for she is a no talent hack and her works of “collage” are ugly as hell. None of this of course has stopped her from being uplifted in to the upper echelons of the art world on a enormous wave of anti-racism.
“Seated was commissioned by the company Avant Arte and produced by the Madrid-based studio Factum Arte. Self discussed her distinctive works depicting Black and predominantly female figures, which correspondent Louisa Buck wrote both embrace and confound collective fantasies and assumptions surrounding the Black female body. Self said she hopes that the violence enacted on the sculpture illuminates the persistent issues plaguing the global West. Painting the skin of my sculpture white is an obscene act and I feel horribly for individuals in Bexhill-on-Sea for whom this event may have shocked or frightened.”
Wouldn’t surprise me one little bit if this act neither shocked nor frightened the decent folk of Brexhill-on-Sea. Some 42,000 of the 44,000 Brexhill-on-Seaers are White—just like that paint. Some 356 are black. Sure, a couple hundred freaks and losers were clutching their pearls and rushed to the scene to commiserate with their poor spooks, but my guess is there are more than a few, and probably the majority, who thought that the painting over of the black seated female with white paint was a right good thing, and long overdue. After all in such an idyllic White place they know good and well that the placement of this vile art work was nothing but a thumb in their eye. And though they perhaps never would have done it themselves they surely said to themselves over their tea—that’s one for our side.
