Sometimes I wonder if the people at Counter-Currents have their heads somewhere besides on their shoulders.

They just recently posted an article (apparently) praising the fiction of none other than Harold A. Covington. I say "apparently" because I couldn't read the article without forking over some money to join their "paywall." I did post a comment, however, but I won't be surprised if it never appears.

A lot of Covington’s fiction was not what was published as novels or stories. It was pure slander directed at highly principaled White advocates who were his superiors in every way. It was slander intended to destroy the reputations of good men, and possibly result in their false prosecution. Harold Covington was a backstabbing snake. The fact that he scribbled a few novels does not change that.

Deb: Sadly, I can’t afford Paywall access but would like to comment on Covington… I’ve come across much negativity about him which I find perplexing but don’t know enough about the man to either agree or disagree. If any readers can point to media that supports either opinion, I would appreciate it.

Deb, I’m thankful that I purchased C-C paywall privileges if only to straighten out some here who are fans of Covington’s fiction, but perplexed as to why anyone would say anything negative about the professional smear artist and political saboteur.

Talented fictional wordsmithing is not a virtue, not when used nefariously.

I couldn’t bring myself to read beyond the first paragraph of the puff piece by Mr. Clark, who is apparently a Covington fan. He writes:

Much of the alleged “vitriol” that was heaped on “Big Lie” Covington came from me as I was a primary target of his poison pen, going back to 1988 when he sued me and Ben Klassen for libel — dropped by him after I answered the frivolous claim using as the truth of what we had written about him as the best defense against his defamation claim. That was 35 years ago. I venture to say I know more than anyone on C-C about Covington.

Covington continued his smears of me after I’d joined Dr. William Pierce’s National Alliance in 1992, even claiming then that Pierce was a “federal asset,” and I was a “deep cover FBI Special Agent who had “successfully infiltrated the White resistance movement for 14 years” and while Pierce’s employ. Yes, the vitriol was flowing from me — except that everything I had to say about him was true, and everything he said about me were bald-faced lies. His fans couldn’t distinguish his fiction from truth. They didn’t care to know the truth.

After he had spread all over Usenet that I needed to be “terminated with extreme prejudice,” and after he put in his cheesy newsletter that I was “John Doe #2, Timothy McVeigh’s handler,” I decided it was time for me to sue the SOB for defamation, which I did.. That was in 1996 — 27 years ago. 18 months later I easily prevailed in that action and was awarded a sizable judgement by the judge who had had enough of Covington’s bs and asked me in open court, “Will, how much money do you want?”

I eventually settled with the SOB after chasing his sorry ass around the country from state to state to exercise the judgment, that by then amounted to more than $250,000. He quit running, hired an attorney and declared bankruptcy. I still managed to squeeze several thousand dollars out of him. He never informed his dim-witted suckers that he declared bankruptcy to avoid execution of my judgment or that he was forced to pay me for his outrageous defamations.

Don’t take my word for it, but you can trust another truth-teller, Martin Kerr, who leads George Lincoln Rockwell’s successor group, New Order, who had this to say about Covington in a comment there a couple of years ago when Edmund Connelly tried to rehabilitate the fraud with another puff piece on TOO:

Again I can’t paste what Mr. Kerr had to say, but the article and comments are still up at TOO at “The War on Whites Harold Covington’s Northwest Novels.” Kerr said there: “No one did more harm to the cause of pro-White advocacy than Covington. From the mid-1970s until his death, he did everything he could to weaken, harm and destroy that cause…”

I’m presuming that is the same cause that is promoted here at C-C.

There is another puff piece about Covington and his trashy novels by Connelly at TOO from 2011 with 393 comments, many unfavorable as I recall, but comments are not only closed under that one, but, unfortunately, unavailable.

But we know that it will not be closed, judging from the article praising Tubbo's fiction and the comments below it. It's like you wrote: "their heads are somewhere besides on their shoulders." Such is the state of the greater so-called "WN" movement.

In our investigations into people with contacts with Combat 18 one name kept on cropping up again and again. This was an American called Harold Covington, who was found residing in Britain for a while some years ago and was closely involved with a number of people from whose rands C18 emerged. It has even been suggested that he was C18’s founder. Mr. Covington’s political ideas closely parallelled those being peddled by C18 today.

It seems that at that time he was doing a lot of jetting around the world while pleading poverty to his supporters. It was a matter of interest to us that Mr. Covington was able to stay in this country for some while, while having no trouble with immigration authorities as an “undesirable” — a hospitality not extended to revisionist Fred Leuchter, as many of our readers will recall.

I happened to meet Harold Covington when he called at my home back sometime around 1981. I certainly found him to be intelligent, though there was something about the man’s personality that told me I should be on my guard. I did not think very much more about him until the C18 business forced us to take a further look at him.

I promptly did some writing and telephoning to my numerous friends and contacts in the United States to see what they could tell me about Mr. Covington. The picture that emerged only deepened my suspicions concerning his liaison with people over here.

Covington, I learned, had built for himself a notorious reputation throughout the racial movement in America as a catalyst of internal conflict, distrust and division. He made a specialty out of condemning some of the leading activators of the American Right, either just by disparaging their efforts as being of no value or by going yet further and blackening their characters with highly personalized smears. He spent a great deal of time sending circulars to people all around the world the contents of which were occupied with attacks made more on fellow racial nationalists than on our common political enemies. This latter I could confirm because one or two of these circulars had been posted to me. One leader of the movement in the US whom I know personally and whose judgement I greatly respect told me he thought it very likely that Covington had for some years been working for the FBI, though I have no way of proving or disproving this.

What is known is that Combat 18 had for a while used an American contact address for some of its literature so as to get around Britain’s draconian race laws. This address, when traced, turned out to be one supplied by Harold Covington. If my American contact’s theory about Covington’s connections are correct, it would mean that large numbers of people in Britain who have written off to his mailing address in response to C18 literature would have had their names and addresses passed on straight away to the FBI, who would in turn have supplied them to the political police in this country, whether MI5, Special Branch or both…

The piece is titled “On the Murder of George Lincoln Rockwell” in Hadding Scott’s “Setting the Record Straight.” Google Jews had removed Hadding’s valuable blog, but Kevin Strom managed to salvage it and put back up on flawlesslogicdotcom. If you can figure out how to reach the archive there from what I wrote, you will find at least a couple of dozen truthful testimonies from those who unfavorably interacted with your Mr. Covington. After reading a few of those you may want to reconsider the praise you heap on your “best writer and damned good teacher.”

It’s great to see the polarization revealed in comments under this article. I’m siding with the Palestinians against the occupying enemy and their collaborators, and hope they continue to inspire and embolden their neighbors in Egypt, Lebanon and Syria to join in the game while the getting is good. So what if Iran goes nuclear? Israel has had nuclear weapons for decades.

Starving the hapless Gazan refugees, denying them water, fuel and electricity prior to invading them with hundreds of thousands of citizen soldiers is a war crime that will backfire Little Satan and eventually on the Big Satan that supports that “shitty little nation” unconditionally.

One question: Of the alleged dozen Americans who have been killed in Palestine in the past four days how many are Jews/dual citizens? Media know: spit it out. Some may be dimwitted Christian evangelicals who may as well be Jews; it’s doubtful however that any are thoughtful, perceptive Whites who grasp the JQ like some here at C-C do.

I advise all Whites to read William Pierce’s eye-opening “The Big Lie” on NationalVanguard.com (NV), written 22 years ago, for the true history of Palestine and its people during the 20th century, not the Jew version. Learn about the feared Palestinian freedom fighter Abu Nidal. Our resistance movement should have such men. I hadn’t realized Mr. Clark’s fawning piece on the despised fraud had continued, but caught this Part 3 in C-C’s “Paroled from the Paywall” section. I had my say in comments under Part 1 so won’t beat a dead horse except to point out again where much of Tubbington’s rap sheet has been preserved, after Google Jews removed the blogspot Setting the Record Straight soon after his death: https://noncounterproductive.flawlesslogic.com/

One comment in part 3 caught my eye:

It is simply a good name…

That’s a good one. Mr. Griffin may have something to say about that. Malevolence had something to do with his choice of that name once Griffin, writing as Hunter Wallace, began exposing the fraud.

As Covington’s proofreader and confident, Mr. Clark never felt the sting of his favorite fiction writer’s poison pen. I certainly did and prevailed in my defamation lawsuit against him in 1996-’98 after he had made numerous outrageous claims against me, including that I was a deep cover FBI Special Agent and Tim McVeigh’s handler.

He once named one of his fictional characters Will White Williams. I believe it was in his Fire & Rain. Williams was a Negro, eventually killed by a Jew, or the other way around. I never read any of his trashy novels and forget which. Believe me, there was pure malevolence in that choice, not just because mine is a good name. He never dreamed he would be sued for libel until after he had screwed up and made one too many outrageous claims to his suckers, represented as non-fiction in his newsletters.

Greg, I didn’t know what you were referring to with TRS in your first article about the Palestinian war. Thanks for clearing that up in your note here.

I don’t listen to podcasts unless one is recommended to me by someone I respect. I’ve certainly never listened to Peinovich aka Enoch and was warned about him years ago. Like I commented earlier, I’m pulling for the Palestinians against Jewry and am pleased to see how sympathy for their cause has spread far beyond where Jewry expected it end. It turns out nobody likes Jews, even at Harvard college of all places.

The National Alliance, a strictly racial separatist organization for eligible Whites, rejects labels like supremacist or exterminationist and others that are used to describe us. I’ll never call myself or my organization identitarian new right, or whatever.

Whatever happened to the alt-right that Peinovich and others of his ilk identified with? It was so promising on social media and with podcasters.

Since I am mentioned by him in his double seed line rant on C-C I’ll correct his claim here for the record.

Yes, as National Alliance Chairman, I did convey in a 1031 tax transfer the back portion of The Land Pierce purchased in 1985. With the proceeds from that sale (for an amount higher than Mad Dog claims) the Alliance purchased 55 acres in Upper East Tennessee, where I have resided for 30-plus years. That WV parcel that was sold to a neighbor was the steep side of the mountain in the back of the property, unimproved, non-income producing, that had recently been timbered by my predecessor.

NA still owns and occupies 80-plus acres of The Land that Pierce purchased — the improved front portion, electrified (telephones/computers) with interior roads, three residences, motor pool, wells, septic systems and four large two-story buildings that were constructed during the Pierce era.
