In the 1930s Heinrich Himmler formed the Ahnenerbe, a research institution dedicated to discovering the origins and history of the Aryan Race. Inspired by the tales of Tacitus Himmler was fascinated by this history and wanted to understand it and record it for the purposes of the future. The organization was initially named the Deutsches Ahnenerbe Studiengesellschaft für Geistesurgeschichte (Society for the Study of the History of Primeval Ideas), but this was soon changed to Ahnenerbe. This was a German term for something inherited from the ancestors.
Himmler regarded the Ahnenerbe as an elite research institution which would sweep away previous scholarship on the origins and development of humanity and reveal that National Socialists ideas on the subject were true. Himmler also believed that the group's investigations would reveal ancient secrets about agriculture, medicine, and warfare which would benefit Germany. It employed scholars from a wide range of academic fields, including archeology, anthropology, ethnology, folklorists, runology, classics, history, musicology, philology, biology, zoology, botany, astronomy and medicine.
Himmler believed that scholars pursuing research in all of these different fields would create a view of the past that would revolutionize standard and established interpretations; in his words, it would represent hundreds of thousands of little stepping stones, which portray an accurate picture of the origins of the world.

The National Socialists were a revolutionary party with a keen historical sense; at the historical moment they saw clearly the dream that was born in the German Forest, among the German tribes, ebbing away. The Aryan race had fanned out over the world from their ancestral home to both East and West; they had created the perfect language of Sanskrit; and the wonders of both Greece and Rome; they built unparalleled civilizations; and then of course ultimately in Northern Europe their genius for science and art created the modern world, and so began the penultimate phase of the evolutionary course.
When Hitler attained power it was the last time in history when the Aryan race could have simply asserted its power and so ruled the earth, and had it acted in concert it would have done so easily. The National Socialists saw a world that was drifting into decadence, fragmentation, and moral anarchy. To give safe harbor to the dream they determined that the will had to be steeled against the moment of crisis or else utter destruction would ensue. They knew that their moment was the moment, the moment when the German mission must begin its completion, or that completion would become disastrously imperiled. For the war that was embarked on was no ordinary was but was a war for the World.
It always is.
Or course this German Dream seemed to have been dashed on the rocks in 1945 and the White Race was surely sent reeling. Racism became the world’s watchword and the world swore that never again could such a state at Hitler’s Germany be allowed to flourish and succeed. And that societal fracturing and moral degeneracy which had begun in the 1920s again took on an accelerated speed. White homelands were shattered, a crass and vulgar materialism ensued, alienation and despair grew, and exotic anti traditional theories of sexuality grew apace; truth and beauty were held up to public ridicule, and reason and language themselves were discredited. Everything which was coherent and every social tie which created cohesion was toppled from its perch, like so many statues of the great heroes.
And so the wasteland grew.
What had been done of course was to rip loose the very sinews of White countries and communities and leave us in tatters. In our country the White population plummeted from ninety percent to fifty percent; a foreign overclass and underclass was imported which destroyed from above and below; crime became rampant and a degraded form of culture began its sordid reign. Jobs were exported that left our working class White communities as shells and husks of themselves and hollowed out from within; and wars in the name of Israel stole the blood of our best men.

As this dangerous spiral was occurring a stalwart vanguard of men separated themselves from the decay which raged without and began planning of the long future. They became a spiritual time capsule for the future. They kept themselves separate and they kept true to the cause. Under the guidance of William Pierce a fierce and uncompromising ideology was formed, one that did not fit its fashions to the fever of the moment. Most of all Pierce was obsessed with the preservation of the Aryan race; but for him this preservation of the Aryan race focused on the success and flourishing of the Aryan consciousness.
He said that our efforts in this regard should consider everything, and he proposed an outlandish thought experiment where a score or so of Aryans colonize Mars and then, after the earth chokes on its own mixed race fumes, the colony comes back to earth to rule. He says he uses this as only one example, one possibility. For in this endeavor multiple plans should be contemplated. That is to achieve his aim Pierce was a blue sky thinker who would not limit his thinking but would keep multiple options open and let time itself do the winnowing.
For Pierce the watchword was always to focus on the future development and evolution of our race’s consciousness, and to keep one’s eyes on eternity. Because for Pierce as important as our biological substratum is, this was only a nursing pond for the works of our mind and our awareness. One must read the runes to pierce the veil to understand the message of the race soul.
And so the National Alliance today forms the vessel of our race and holds fast the ideas and ideals which brought the Aryans to the pinnacle of the earth’s history. More than a political movement it is a religion, the religion of the future, and one whose time shall come.

Soon in the wider world, after a long period of senescence all around us, like a leitmotif of action, power and resolve we shall see the very beginnings of the evolutionary resurgence, but in a different form than might be expected. The war now is a war of ideas, a war in the mind, a spiritual struggle, for ideas rule the world; and the German idea, the German mission, has now become a mythopoetic one. This can be clearly seen at present in small and mostly inconspicuous ways. As always it will come slowly—but it will come.
Zeitgeist means the spirit of the times, and this spirit is what rules the world. Near the end of his life Martin Heidegger feared that the Germans would not have a prophetic future. This was his fear that the call of being so ancient to our people could no longer be heard, and even its increasingly faint echoes were being drowned out in a planetary form of communication which he likened to chatter.
He need not have feared, for the prophetic voice, this German word, this German mission, did not die and indeed cannot die, it being the only living thing. It has been loyally attended by the remnant of our people; for we have heard the call, and we hear it still. Of course it has been speaking from time immemorial and will do so into the far future, and what it speaks is always Victory. For it was prophesied long ago that as the curtain comes down the Absolute Spirit comes into its own and reclaims its own; it has after all some rights of remembrance in this Kingdom; and nothing is more powerful than this idea that is coming.
