Top Iranian parliamentarian warns of Israel’s continued violation of Lebanon ceasefire

"...Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has warned of attempts by the Israeli regime to turn its violations of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon into a normal occurrence.

“It is necessary to be cautious that their (Israel's) violation of this agreement should not turn into a routine matter,” Qalibaf said in a phone conversation with Lebanese Parliament speaker Nabih Berri on Saturday.

Israel was forced to accept a ceasefire with Hezbollah after suffering heavy losses following more than 14 months of fighting and failing to achieve its goals in its aggression on Lebanon.

The truce agreement, brokered by the United States and France, came into effect before dawn on Wednesday. It will last for 60 days in the hope of reaching a permanent cessation of hostilities..."

Israeli soldier who took part in Gaza genocide assaulted in Thailand

"...An Israeli soldier involved in the genocidal war against Palestinians in Gaza has reportedly been assaulted in Thailand.

The soldier, 22, who was identified as Ilay was on a trip to Thailand when unidentified German tourists attacked him, Palestinian media reported.

"I passed by a group of four young Germans", he said. "One of them asked, 'Where are you from? Israel?' I turned around, and he punched me in the face".

He said that then they continued to assault him, pushing and kicking him physically.

"I felt like they were specifically looking for Israelis. It didn't seem like they just randomly passed through an alley and got into an argument; they were looking for me and came to ask where I was from", he added. 

In the wake of the incident, Tel Aviv urged Israelis in Thailand and Southeast Asia to remain extra vigilant in public places such as restaurants and hotels..."

'Israel' continues to insolently violate Lebanon ceasefire

"...The Israeli occupation continues to violate the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon by targeting southern border villages, as well as areas in the Bekaa Valley.

In its latest breach, the Israeli occupation military carried out Monday a drone strike on a bulldozer operating near a Lebanese Army post in the village of Hosh al-Sayyed Ali, north of the Hermel district, wounding a Lebanese soldier.

The Lebanese Army announced on X that an Israeli drone targeted a bulldozer belonging to the army while it was conducting fortification work inside the military post of al-Abbara in the area of Hosh al-Sayyed Ali, resulting in moderate injuries to one soldier..."

ICC president hits back at 'attacks'

"...The head of the International Criminal Court, Tomoko Akane, says the court faced "coercive measures, threats, pressure, and [Jewish] acts of sabotage".

"We are at a turning point in history...International law and international justice are under threat. So is the future of humanity", she said, addressing ICC judges in the Hague.

"The International Criminal Court will continue to carry out its lawful mandate, independently and impartially, without giving into any outside interference", she pledged.

The ICC has faced criticism in some quarters after judges issued an arrest warrant last month for Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his former defence minister, and a top Hamas leader.

ICC judges said there were "reasonable grounds" to suspect the three men of war crimes and crimes against humanity over the Hamas October 7 attacks and the subsequent Israeli military operation in Gaza..."

Israel promises 'harsh response' to Hezbollah attack

"...Defence Minister Israel Katz says Israel will have a "harsh response" to Hezbollah’s fire after the Lebanese group said it fired a "warning defensive response" into an Israeli military site.

"We promised to act against any violation of the ceasefire by Hezbollah - and that is exactly what we will do", Katz said in a post on X.

Far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich made similar remarks, saying Israel must respond with a "powerful blow".

Israeli soldiers, officers warned against intl. travel as fears over war crime arrests grow

"...The Israeli military has warned its troops and officers about the possibility of their arrest while abroad over war crimes against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, where the Israeli regime has been waging a genocidal war for around 14 months.

Israeli paper Yedioth Ahronoth said on Wednesday that the warning had been issued amid the likelihood of the International Criminal Court (ICC)'s taking decisions that could lead to arrests of and investigations against the forces.

Israeli troops and officers have reportedly faced around 30 complaints and legal actions for their roles in vicious attacks across Gaza.

"Concerned about possible detentions, the military ordered eight soldiers stationed in Cyprus, the Netherlands, and Slovenia to return immediately", the paper wrote.

The forces have also "been instructed to remove any photos or videos documenting their involvement in Gaza from social media platforms", it added.

Additionally, they have been told to refrain from sharing their locations while abroad amid the likelihood of retaliation from pro-Palestinian organizations, which have reportedly compiled blacklists of those who have participated in the war.

Engine Room Flooding Forces Cargo Ship Crew To Abandon Vessel In Red Sea

"...Twenty crew members of the MV ISA STAR, a Panama-flagged cargo ship were rescued in the Red Sea on December 5 after the vessel sent out a distress call.
