David Irving - Watered down in his old age?

In regards to the numerous videos of David Irving's lectures at hotels and such around the US, I notice that after 2010, he seemed to think there was evidence in the coded communications that show the "6 Million" number could possibly be true. Which is a stark contrast to his lectures in all the years prior. I realize they have beaten him down pretty hard, but the simple math of it all still stands.

Has anyone else noticed this or have any insight?

I met Mr. Irving a couple of times in the 1990s, and again with my wife at a hotel in Knoxville, TN, at one of his talks. I paid him $50 then for a pre-order for his book on Himmler (that I've yet to receive).

I've read several of Mr. Irving's books and consider him to be the foremost WWII historian, despite whatever character flaws he may have. He wrote Destruction of Dresden in 1963 when I was still in high school. What a life he has lived!



We all "age out" eventually. He's 83 now; when Lana and I met him in 2012 he was 74 but still quite lucid -- a fascinating speaker who patiently answered all of my stupid questions.

Awesome!!! I have now watched probably a dozen of his seminars ranging from the early 90's to that Arlington one in 2014. They have sparked a renewed interest in WW2 that I haven't had since I was young. The materials he has had access to are incredible.

He never claimed to be a hardline white nationalist type so for him to placate troublemaking jews at a seminar, doesn't bother me at all. What he has seen and had access to and the people he has spoken with are what's important. He genuinely seemed to want to tell the real truth, not just regurgitated university clap trap. I have purchased several of his books and plan to read them as soon as I finish WWWM.

He never pretended to be "on our team" but he always sought the truth, and isn't that what we seek as well? I can't fault a man for that.

This is from a search years ago, if you do the search today that 1947 number will be, Yeah! You guessed it! 6,000,000 less.
I've heard that the six million number is the number of Jews that have to be murdered/killed/exterminated/whatever until they get their "kingdom of Judea" back.
