The cable network has handed out a straight-to-series order for All That Jazz, a docuseries following 14-year-old transgender activist Jazz Jennings, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The 11-episode series will feature Jennings — dubbed “The New Face of Transgender Youth” — in her daily life, juggling her foray into high school while navigating how a transgender teen approaches dating and sleepovers all while avoiding male puberty.

Jennings, who has been featured on 20/20, The Rosie Show and was named one of the 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014 by Time magazine, was assigned male at birth. Jennings — who also wrote children’s book I Am Jazz with Jessica Herthel about living as a transgender teen — expressed her desire for all things typically associated with girls at an early age. In 2004, Jennings was determined to be suffering from micropenis and diagnosed with gender identity disorder.
This individual has been going through "treatment" since it was 6 years old. Jennings thought of itself as a girl, and so its deranged parents have encouraged it every step of the way.

Now I can't speak for anyone else, but when I was six, I thought I was a dinosaur. Evidently, I did not end up being a Tyrannosaurus rex. It's normal and healthy for children to imagine and be creative. Constantly reassuring a child that they are, in fact, a dinosaur (or in this case, female) is not normal nor healthy.

It seems that in today's society, all sexual mental illnesses are almost deemed holy and should not be attempted to rectify, unlike any other mental illness.

I honestly can not get my head wrapped around this. I simply do not understand the thought process of parents who think that a six year old child has a developed enough sense of self to understand its identity well enough to make the decision to rationally change genders. I will be 50 next month and most days I still doubt my abillity to choose the correct color to paint my 65 VW hotrod in. And yes, ye of little faith, the humble four cylinder vw can do 12 second 1/2 mile times, so it is indeed a hotrod
