1993: The 51-day FBI siege (over a few allegedly unregistered firearms) of the Branch Davidian church community in Waco, Texas ends when an attack, ostensibly using tear gas, by FBI agents results in a massive fire. Seventy-six church members trapped inside, including 20 children and two pregnant women, are killed.
