Iran Considering Significant Rise in Defense Budget

"...The administration of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has proposed to raise defense spending by 200 percent in the next year's budget plan, a spokesperson said.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, the spokeswoman for the administration unveiled plans to strengthen Iran’s defense capabilities.

Fatemeh Mohajerani said the administration has taken various sectors into consideration in the budget bill that it has submitted to the Parliament for the next Iranian fiscal year.

Cyprus and Luxembourg say UNRWA is 'indispensable'

"...The foreign ministers of Cyprus and Luxembourg say the UN agency for Palestinian refugees is "indispensable" for providing food, education and healthcare to Palestinians and the international community must do whatever it can to enable the agency to continue its work.

Cyprus’s top diplomat, Constantinos Kombos, said after talks with his Luxembourgian counterpart, Xavier Bettel, that the work of UNRWA is "extremely valuable" throughout the Middle East, calling its delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza "imperative".

Bettel said "there is no alternative" to UNWRA's work to help people in Palestine because without the agency, "there is no education, there is no health, there is no food".

The diplomats made the remarks after the Israeli parliament on Monday passed two laws that could prevent UNRWA from being able to continue its work..."

Hezbollah destroys Israeli Merkava tanks, downs advanced drone

Journalist Jailed after Revealing Damage to Israeli Bases Hit by Iranian Missiles

U.S. JOURNALIST JEREMY LOFFREDO RELEASED AFTER BEING DETAINED BY ISRAEL FOR FOUR DAYS

"...Jeremy Loffredo was released Friday morning by Israeli authorities after spending four days in Israeli detention following his arrest in the West Bank. 

Although an Israeli judge granted his release from police custody, he was ordered to remain in the country until October 20, allowing investigators more time to bring additional allegations or to further interrogate Loffredo, according to Lea Tsemel, a renowned Israeli civil rights attorney who represented Loffredo. Police obtained Loffredo’s phone and were able to jailbreak the device and plan to search it for potential evidence, according to Israeli media.

Israeli police had held Loffredo, an independent journalist from New York, on suspicion of assisting an enemy in war, a serious allegation that carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment or death, Tsemel said..."

Washington keeps silent after Israel arrests US journalist over report on Iran attack

"...The US government has yet to comment on the case of Jeremy Loffredo, an independent US journalist who remains in Israeli police detention on suspicion of "endangering national security". Loffredo may potentially face life imprisonment or the death penalty after reporting the locations where Iranian missiles struck in the attack launched by Iran earlier this month.

US officials refrained from commment despite a Yedioth Ahronoth report from Thursday stating that representatives from the US Embassy attended the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court for a hearing on the request of the police to extend his detention.

In his report, Loffredo stated that the strikes hit targets, including the Israeli military's Nevatim Air Base and an intelligence base in central Israel.

"Since the missile strikes, Israeli authorities have attempted to downplay the significance of the attacks, censored the locations of missile impacts from media publication, and claimed that Iranian missiles targeted Israeli civilians", Loffredo stated.

"What I saw today, here in Israel, is clear evidence that Iran was targeting the same Israeli intelligence and military infrastructure that has been used over the past year to carry out brutal assassinations and attacks"..."

Hello Mr. Williams.

It really seems like the Jews are hellbent on starting a direct war against Iran and using the US military to fight Iran on behalf of Israel.

I believe the Jews want to perpetrate a massive bombing of Iran with B-2 and B-52 bombers. If the Jews manage to succeed in orchestrating a mass bombing campaign then I don't think I will be able to survive it.

I'm not sure what's going to happen next, but I do believe I made the right decision in moving to Iran. And I would also like to say that I am grateful for Mr. Strom's January 2005 American Dissident Voices broadcast, "Iran: Another Bloodbath is Coming".

"...Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who is an official visit to neighboring Pakistan, has warned Israel of a "calculated and accurate" response to its act of aggression that claimed the lives of five Iranians in late October.

Iran's top diplomat made the remark during a joint press conference with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

Araghchi said, "The Israeli regime showed its warmongering and aggressive nature more than ever by attacking some Iran's military sites on October 26. Unlike the Zionist regime, the Islamic Republic does not seek to escalate tensions, however, we reserve our fundamental right to legitimate defense based on Article 50 of the United Nations Charter".

"We will definitely respond to the Israeli aggression at the right time and in a calculated and precise way".

In the Israeli aggression, which caused some limited damage in some areas, four servicemen of the Armed Forces and one civilian were killed.
