I suspect Mr. Loffredo was simply doing his job as a war correspondent, reporting the truth -- the truth that Jews did not like.

Law enforcement at some point in this country will be ordered to obtain dissidents' cell phones and "jailbreak" them to obtain evidence against owners for some serious allegation (like alleged "anti-Semitism") that carries a maximum sentence of imprisonment or death.

US [government] 'putting troops' lives at risk' by sending them to Israel: Iran

"...Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has warned the United States against deploying its forces to Israel to operate American anti-missile systems, stressing that the Islamic Republic has "no red lines" in defending its interests.

Araghchi made the remarks in a post on X on Sunday, amid news reports that the US is considering sending Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile defense systems to Israel which would require the deployment of American troops to operate it.

Araghchi went on to say that Washington has been sending a record amount of arms to Israel during its war on the besieged Gaza Strip, adding that it is now "putting lives of its troops at risk" by deploying them to Israel to operate US missile systems.

He emphasized, "While we have made tremendous efforts in recent days to contain an all-out war in our region, I say it clearly that we have no red lines in defending our people and interests."..."

US, UK target Yemeni capital with 'stealth bombers' for first time

"...US and British warplanes have bombed Yemen's capital city of Sana'a and several other areas, amid the country's solidarity with the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip and the Lebanese nation in the face of Israel's brutal aggression.

Yemen's al-Masirah television network said the US-British aggression targeted the al-Hafa and Jirban areas in the north and south of the capital with six airstrikes on Thursday morning.

Killing of Sinwar will only 'expand war'

Al Jazeera’s senior political analyst Marwan Bishara says Netanyahu and his government's "appetite for violence grows with war...they don’t get enough of it".

Bishara said that in the wake of the successful assassinations carried out by Israel in recent months – Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah – the war has expanded.

"And now with the killing of Sinwar, the war will continue to expand and deepen and become even more violent", he said.

Bishara cited a quote from Netanyahu's speech moments ago in which he spoke about eliminating the "axis of evil", meaning Iran and its partner groups, saying this was the prime minister’s clear signal that he means to escalate this conflict to a regional war.

He outlined what he called a likely scenario in which Israel will continue to ethnically cleanse the Gaza Strip, expand its operations in southern Lebanon, then move on to Syria, all while bombing Iran.
