Apparently it wasn't wise to give such global fanfare to the idea that all men are equal.
You should never give your mortal enemies a stick to beat your people with.
And beating Thomas Jefferson they are, they say a man's home is his castle but for Thomas Jefferson now his home is a chopping block and they are placing his neck right on it. That's correct the famous red head is now the red headed step child of American history, they are shitting all over his memory and making sure his memory will be damned forever. The sage of Monticello is now the goat of Monticello and tour guides there claim not only that he was a vicious racist (good for him I say!) but also a second-rate mind, which really has to rankle. Not too long-ago Jefferson's statue got the bum's rush in New York City, but that's a kike town so in a sense you can write it off. But now in the heart of the Old Dominion, right in the heart and hearth of the man's own's home the proprietors walk around and spew garbage that he was evil incarnate, when in fact like all of those old guys he knew a thing or two. It's true that he was a soft touch for the kind of dreamy utopian visions which have caused us so much harm; but get some of that wine that he was always importing from Europe in him and he'd talk your ear off on the degradation of the negro and their complete inability (for all time) to participate in the White man's civilization. He warned us that the negro can never live among us if we hope to have a moment's peace, that in in the end the fatal confluence of the Whites and blacks would lead to a race apocalypse with either or the other race being exterminated.
Take that mealy-mouthed conservatives!
Keen prescience indeed that was. Has anything since his time proved him wrong? Or have all events confirmed him?
Put quite simply this continent is not big enough for the both of us.
Jefferson likened the negro to a wolf and the White man to one who has the wolf by the ears. You have a few options: you can continue to hold the wolf by the ears but no one can rule by sitting on their bayonets. You can eradicate the wolf, or you can remove the wolf from your midst-- but both of those take tremendous strength of character. Or of course you can let the wolf go; in America that's what they did and the wolf has broken free and is roaming Monticello breaking the valuables and going from room to room searching for prey.
Thing is Jefferson was a racial separatist--but he said that infamous line about equality---which makes him a sitting duck

It looks like a lot of people who walk through Monticello now are fit to be tied at how Jefferson is being treated. You have to wonder how many of them thought this through. Jefferson was a profligate spender who was constantly in debt. Despite his lack of cold hard cash he would import the finest finery from Europe. Once when he went to a banker to lend him money the banker said he needed collateral. Jefferson said he hadn't any. The banker said sure he did--and pointed to the negros out in the field.
The Utopian dreamer got a lesson in the way of the world.
They even have his signature extant on the transaction document when (they say) he signed away his eternal reputation. Sure wasn't like that other signature, the one on the Declaration.
Of course these scholars are children.
The normal reaction to this is horror, and if horrified you are then let the woke rampage through the place--you have no right to object. If on the other hand this tale leaves you coldly indifferent---you we can save.

Slavery you see is just the way of the world, it was the way of the whole world and the way of the White world in Virigina. The crime was not slavery in itself but the final implications of their importation. The crime was that they sullied the pristine virgin continent with these deformed apes.

What's a libertarian to think? But trust me to demoralize you and morally weaken you is their intent. They want the Monticello visitors to be overwhelmed by White guilt, to come face to face with the alleged horrors of the founding generation. And to finally in their minds consign Americas to where they think it belongs--as unparalleled in the annals of evil.

The people who have taken over this property are good little foot soldiers for the regime--and what better place to enforce regime ideology than Monticello? This is a site that was once a fount and source of patriotism and love of the past and now they've turned that on its head--made it a school for scandal, a school to teach Americans about how wicked their forbears were. It's the same reason that at Colonial Williamsburg they are now highlighting the "gay" colonial past with a play about two ladies canoodling.
"Tucker described his guide last month as surly and dismissive of Jefferson’s accomplishments. Someone asked if Jefferson had built a machine in the house, and the guide said, nah, he never built anything, he was just a tinkerer."
The man invented the swivel chair, which any writer will attest puts him atop the inventor pantheon and is worth any number of dead negros.

This abomination is their anti-racist piece de resistance. It is painted by Titus Kaphar who is a black man who works in tandem with another black man named Jabari Jefferson who claims to be the descendant of the slaves at Monticello and (who knows?!) maybe even Jefferson itself. The painting shows an aristocrat in lordly finery who just happens to have a blob of black paint for his head and his hands.
"The figure’s hands and face of featureless tar represent the faceless lives of all who served in bondage, witnessing but never recognized, an identifying card explains."
Perhaps it depicts a tar monster, though perhaps it represents Jefferson himself, the evil man with the black face and hands representing the nadir or black hole of White morality.
"Guides begin their outdoor tours of Monticello’s gardens and grounds by invoking the Native Americans who once lived on the land."
Now even the peace pipe smokers are getting in on the act, the indignity never ends. Apparently they didn't like that merciless savages crack.
"How does that land come to be in European possession? a guide named Justin asked an unresponsive group of vacationers from Germany. A lot of violence, right? he prodded."
Germans did you say? And yes a lot of violence. Is there a problem with that? How else do you come in to possession of land?
"Placards with conversation starters on the topic of civil rights festoon a patio outside the snack shop. Is all men are created equal being lived up to in our country today? one reads. When will we know when it is? it continues — supplying a negative answer to the first question."
Of course this is what it's really all about. In their hearts they don't care about some old guy who lived over two centuries ago, or slaves who are long dead and gone. The only care about them so that they can give the "salutary" lesson about today, about the poor put upon negros of today who just want to live in equality and can't get a decent break from the heard hearted Whtie man. That is it is simply an exercise in race shaming, and shame on anyone who falls for it.

And you can bet that biography is a very critical one, one that spouts the anti-racist line good and hard.
"Interpretive signage throughout the estate places slavery at the forefront of each historical feature by adding the word enslaved before every possible job description, often multiple times: an enslaved cook, enslaved postilions, Jefferson’s enslaved valet, Burwell Colbert.”
It's high time that enough White people (more than enough really) are no longer slaves to this transparent and juvenile drivel.
The wolf is roaming free and something needs to be done about it.

In Roman times a man who was proscribed would go to the hearthstone in front of his house and slit his own throat on the sacred space--knowing that he had polluted it and no one would live there. When Lincoln needed a cemetery for his dead he decided to bury them on Bobby Lee's front lawn--knowing that no one would then ever live there again. And now the liberal maggots are traipsing through Monticello laying blood libels on the owner and damning his memory, cutting his throat so the blood flows on the carpets, and digging up the ghosts of negros from his front lawn. Polluting the place in short. Perhaps in retrospect it wasn't wise to give such global fanfare to the notion that all men are equal.

This from a conservative, but it puts them in a pickle.
The conservatives who are outraged at the outrages on Jefferson are in an untenable position. By their lights and their Christian morality the woke are right--slave owners are monsters and get no breaks. No breaks for creating a constitution, for founding a country, no breaks for enshrining free speech. Let them try to make the case that chattel slaver was not as bad as the Holocaust. They wouldn't touch that one with a ten foot pole. No, by their ethical rubric Jefferson and Washington are right there next to Mr. Hitler. After all Hitler did the autobahn, was a brave soldier, got Germany proud of itself again, turned the economy around, was adored by small children, loved dogs. All that at least adds up to a constitution.
Again, let them make the case publicly that the Holocaust was worse than slavery, none of them would ever get off that dime. So if (to them) slavery equals the six million then Jefferson equals Hitler. When did they ever give Hitler a break? Answer: never. You see they will always lose this battle because they fight it on their enemy's field. In fact they are on the side of the woke, sharing their assumptions. It's true that they are issuing a minority report from the other side but that does not mean they are not on the other side.
They are.
Slavery bad, holocaust bad. These are the only two events in world history and the conservatives condemn them both. If they are consistent then Jefferson is a monster, whatever else he did.
It's why there is so much losing.

What a joker. Everything is politics and politics is everything. He wants a hazy history that is uncontested and that we can tranquilly enjoy. Which is why their defense of the sage of Monticello will always ring hollow and which is why they will lose this race war. Their argument is not really more sophisticated than--yes, but--can't we let bygones be bygones? No, sorry, revenge is the hinge of history. We are locked in a mortal struggle not an effete and bloodless debating society. Rather we are in a battle of bloodletting. Jefferson said that the blacks and the Whites could not live together because of deeply rooted prejudices on the part of the Whites, innumerable recollection of injuries on the part of blacks, the natural inferiority of blacks, and endless new provocations.
Like turning his house into a hall of race horrors.
That supposed to be descendant of the Monticello plantation named Jabari Jefferson has a painting in the building that shows the slaves weeping in prayer.
It's called A Moment Of Silence.
Oh yes the slaves in solemn contemplation. Well, we too should take a few moments to think things over. And realize that it is nature's god who rules, who rules over an amoral world. Slavery was not a crime it was a blunder, unless you consider the fact that the world is always bathed in blood to be a crime in itself. But really it's not a crime, it's just a fact. This is truth that the conservatives can never get their head around, because they are as steeped in liberalism as any sullen eyed green haired freak screaming about abortion. They say that they are the heirs to the founders but nothing could be further from the truth. They are not their ideological posterity--they are traitors to the cause.
As to the wolf--what is to be done? Well, no one should be considering sitting on their bayonets.
