The movie The Zone Of Interest is one long drawn-out festival of Jewish Propaganda. It got the big Oscar nod and the priceless imprimatur of chief Jew in charge Steven Spielberg; it is now one of those art house movies that the educated and the moral just have to see; sure, it’s a “tough pill to swallow” and it is “disturbing” and “troubling” but that’s just the price you pay to see something that is good for your soul, right?. After all must not we come face to face with the face of evil? Must not we look inward to see the evil that dwells there?

That is of course what the Jews want you to think, that by paying your money you are elevated into the ranks of those noble ones who don’t just go in for mindless entertainment but who are made of sterner stuff, who are fearless in the face of a brief spell of introspection and ethical self-examination. Because here (they say) one confronts that greatest of great mysteries: of ordinary evil, of the evil that lurks within all of us. The movie shows Commandant Hoss of Auschwitz pursuing a day-to-day life amidst dead and dying Jews and the ever present if unstated question is how is that possible? What depth of depravity must one sink to in order to engage in basic domestic matters while an innocent Jew screams his last?

The movie styles and prides itself that it is making its point with understated nuance but really is top heavy on manifest and obvious messages worthy of a simpleton. It has all the subtlety of a two by four to the back of the head. That is for all of its lushly shot interiors and exteriors it is the most mindless form of entertainment of all: the Jewish Propaganda film. It shows growling Nazi dogs, it shows Nazi boys playing tin soldiers, it shows run of the mill coldness and cruelty, it has intermittent cartoons done in black with ominous music and sounds showing evil German folk tales, it has careless wives finding diamonds hidden in the toothpaste, and overfed German matrons appropriating dresses of slim Jewish beauties.

But perhaps it is the final scene which is the one that out Jews even the Jews in terms of its lack of even rudimentary subtlety, and that’s saying something. In the finale the Commandant is dressed in full National Socialist regalia and he is the magisterial presence at a ball. As he strides slowly through the scene we hear classical music playing and the crème de la crème of society is milling about. Everything is beautiful and tasteful, everyone is well appointed, the décor is impeccable, the manners and the etiquette are perfect and flawless. People talk softly among themselves as the music plays on and you can see that the master race is both well fed and well satisfied with itself. Nothing is out of place and everyone seems to know that this kind of lyrical and sweet life will go for a thousand years or more.

The Commandant continues to stroll leisurely through the tasteful gathering, and he is calm and has real presence and he is the master of all he surveys: life, as they say, is good. The expensive and wonderful silverware tinkles, some gay laughter is heard, the women look resplendent in their dresses and the men are commanding in their uniforms. The commandant makes polite small talk from group to group and then strides on once more; the Commandant is in command and he steps on a balcony and peers down below, but it is in his mind’s eye that he see the future, the future they have all been working so hard for, the future in the East, the future of their children and of their race.

He then wanders into a private room and rings up his wife; she asks how the ball is going and he cavalierly tells her that if he could he would gas all the guests but the vaulted ceilings would make the logistics difficult. He then tells her that they have named his next task Operation Hoss, that is he is one of those managerial technocrats, one of those next generation Whiz Kids and men on the make who will make the trains run on time. And it is here that the Jewish Director after softly (and lamely) caricaturing his character decides to slam the door shut once and for all.

After the phone call the Commandant descends the stairs and then for no reason whatsoever he keels over and grabs his knees; then we hear a retching sound; apparently this model National Socialist just can’t take it anymore, can’t hack it; he did not even know it but he was at the end of his emotional tether, the built up evil has doubled him over and he heaves and shakes; this is a message from his body (apparently) that he has violated the sacred taboo against taking a life and, what is more, a Jewish life; and he continues to cough and shake but he does not vomit; no mere Nazi, no matter how he trembles and vibrates, will ever discharge or disgorge the sinister nature of his character, the foulness that he harbors in himself. Or so they say.

Finally he is reduced to emitting some spittle from his mouth on to the floor. And that is that, the final tableau of this monstrous movie: a “Nazi” doubled over standing on a stylish tile floor trying but failing to throw up; then we are cut to the present time and, in case anyone was too dull not to be able to ascertain the mainlining of lies shot into their bloodstream with the ideological needle, we to get to see the ovens and shoes at a contemporary Jew museum; and this museum is housed in the same building where the Commandant tried to lose his dinner.

Though we must caution the scene of the aborted retching of course never happened, is pure Jewish fiction just like the entire movie itself. For all the artistry involved in this vile endeavor they might as well have just saved everyone a whole lot of time and handed out papers with cartoon stick figures of Germans made to look like wolves lording over Jews with eyes of wide innocence and pain; it’s what the people want after all and certainly what they expect; and the big Jews who made this movie did not disappoint, they know the whole Holocaust franchise is a true juggernaut and they are not about to stop the presses whirring now by even inadvertently letting a little truth slip in. In this evil effort at smoke and mirrors they succeeded completely.
