Known hate group posts in Renton

Patriot Front fliers, stickers posted throughout town

by Haley Ausbun
Thursday, January 9, 2020 1:30am

Renton residents are pulling down posters and stickers placed in downtown by the group Patriot Front.

The stickers, reported around Third Street, include phrases like “Money Does Not Rule You” and “Reject Poison” with information to their website. While some of the flyers seem harmless and patriotic, the group recruiting has been flagged as a white nationalist group by Southern Poverty Law Center and Anti-Defamation League.

The group was originally formed after the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017. ProPublica estimated that there was about 300 Patriot Front members in November 2019.

This is not the first sighting of Patriot Front recruitment materials in Renton. The group has been reported by residents to do this frequently. Renton LGBTQIA Community President Chad Cashman-Crane said they’ve been tracking this activity since May. They said the posters are an ongoing matter.

In tweets, accounts that appeared to be associated with Patriot Front stated that promotional materials were distributed in Renton in late December by a “Patriot Front activist.”

The group also had some involvement at the large counter-protest-and-protest at the Fairwood Library Drag Queen Story Hour in late June, Cashman-Crane said.

Cashman-Crane stated in an email that Renton LGBTQIA Community has been tracking several groups for any anti-gay, anti-trans or other hate mobilization around Renton, including Patriot Front but also Activist Mommies, Mass Resistance, Operation Cold Front, Proud Boys and the Three Percenters.

Patriot Front recruitment stickers were also found on campus at Renton Technical College in May 2019, plastered over different school buildings, trees and posters, including student services and diversity flyers. The group is reported to have been attempting to distribute materials across campuses, as a method of recruiting young people.

The group tracks where it posts it’s recruitment material on it’s Twitter, and recently mentioned Renton.

Katherine Hedland Hansen, RTC Executive Director of College Relations and Marketing, said the school took down the stickers immediately. They were posted throughout campus. The college’s policy states putting stickers on college property is vandalism.

“That group is defined as a hate group,” Hedland Hansen said. “People have a right to free speech, but not to speech that is so contradictory to (RTC) values and also defaced our property.”

The stickers caused unrest on campus and bothered many folks, she said. You could tell by the tone of the stickers it wasn’t a positive group.

Hedland Hansen said RTC chose not to name the group that placed the stickers in campus messaging in May, as an effort to not bring additional attention to the group. The security team filed a police report regarding the incident, but Hedland Hansen said as far as she knows, there was no follow up.

Renton Police Department Cmdr. David Leibman stated that the case report shows police investigated the incident: On Memorial Day, between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. a group of men walked onto campus and applied 60 to 70 stickers, not targeting any specific locations. From surveillance footage the RTC security officer said he did not believe any of them were students or related to the school. Most of the stickers stated “Reclaim America.”

The basic report states that the group “may be a white supremacist group, however, none of the stickers seemed to promote any one group” and that it was determined the stickers were not a hate crime, according to the summary from Leibman’s email.

For the more recent incident in downtown, Leibman stated in an email that no reports have been filed to the office about the stickers or flyers, but that the matter would fall to the graffiti abatement program.

Graffiti Abatement Program Coordinator Erin Churchill confirmed that unsanctioned posters or stickers would fall under graffiti, but that she had no reports of Patriot Front posters or stickers.

Churchill stated in an email that it’s more important the posters are taken down promptly, but that it would be helpful for residents to also report the incident to her. Anyone can remove these items when they see them.

The Patriot Front posters created a spurt of resistance from proclaimed “anti-fascist” groups such as the Emerald City Anti-fascist, which tweeted photos of its own stickers it placed over torn down Patriot Front stickers and posters.

In the Spring and Fall, Churchill and volunteers do a sweep of the downtown area to remove all paint, stickers and marker graffiti from public buildings, and can remove graffiti with permission of private property owners. It is a private property owners’ responsibility to remove graffiti unless they request assistance, Churchill stated.

Graffiti can be reported to Renton Police Department through the Renton Responds application, or by calling 425-430-7362.

CALABASAS, Calif. - A hate crime investigation was underway Wednesday in Calabasas after posters containing swastikas, racial slurs and phrases like "Death to America" were found taped to the doors of a condo.

“This type of material does not belong on anyone’s door and does not belong in our community,” said Calabasas Mayor Alicia Weintraub. “It’s upsetting to the residents that live there, the residents that drive by, and to our entire community.”

The signs were posted on the doors of a top floor Park Sorrento condo located on Calabasas Road. The complex is right across the street from the Calabasas Tennis and Swim Center.

“It’s extremely upsetting and sickening,” Mayor Weintraub told reporters Wednesday. “Everyone is welcome in Calabasas and we will not stand for this type of material being displayed for everyone to see.”

Neighbors say the signs have been up for about a day and that the man they believe posted the signs is the owner of the condo. One neighbor told FOX 11 that he has threatened other neighbors in the past and that there is a restraining order against him.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is investigating this as a possible hate incident.

Authorities have not stated whether a suspect has been identified.

Additional details were not immediately available.
Mayor Weintraub is intolerant of free speech, to judge by her statement. It's not that these elected Jews have never heard of the laws White men instituted years ago, it's that they don't respect them.

If he owns the property, how is there any crime? In other words, if he put up a flag that triggered someone, it would be a crime?

It offends Jews, therefore it's a crime.

Stickers advertising white supremacist organization found on campus and in town

By RILEY BOARD
January 23, 2020

UPDATE — Friday, January 24: In an all-school email this afternoon, Director of Public Safety Lisa Burchard announced that several new stickers, advertising the same white supremacy organization as those found two weeks ago, were found on street signs and lamp posts on Old Chapel Road and South Main Street, and on an outdoor sculpture near the Axinn Center. At least one other sticker was found on the handicap accessibility button outside of Wright Theater. The Department of Public Safety is currently investigating these incidents.

Three stickers promoting a white supremacist organization appeared on campus and in the town of Middlebury during the first week of Winter Term. Some stickers linked to a white supremacist website through QR codes. All stickers have since been removed, and the Department of Public Safety (DPS) began an investigation into the dissemination of the stickers.

The stickers were found on a sign on the outside of the McCullough Student Center, on the outside of the Center for Community Engagement building, and at a Jewish organization in town that asked not to be identified by name.

The stickers came to the attention of the Community Bias Response Team (CBRT) through a submission in their online reporting system (go/bias) and through the observations of staff and faculty members.

The CBRT announced the incidents through a student-wide email on Jan. 10. “The views of hate groups, even in the absence of direct action, still cause harm and foster an environment where members of our campus community feel unwelcome or unsafe, especially given ongoing efforts to promote hate and violence within our larger culture,” the email read.

The stickers include a QR code that links to the website of an organization identified by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a white nationalist hate group, as well as the group’s logo. This group has organized campaigns to disseminate their stickers and other promotional materials across the country.

In the all-campus email, the CBRT chose not to identify the group. “We recognize that one of the goals of such organizations is to provoke a reaction and thereby increase the attention the organization receives,” the email reads.

“One of the main goals of these organizations is to provoke outrage, which leads to different kinds of situations,” said Renee Wells, the college’s director of education for equity and inclusion and a member of the CBRT. “They often provoke institutional statements about those incidents, which then get more widely circulated and are used for publicity by the organization.”

This is not the first time that Middlebury’s campus has been the target of campaigns by white supremacist oragnizations. In the spring of 2018, fliers with pictures of the confederate flag and Bible verses, also advertising white supremacist organizations, appeared in the Davis Family Library, as well as in several other Vermont public and university libraries.

“There’s a pretty intentional and sustained effort by these kinds of organizations to target college campuses, so I think we’re always going to be one of the potential targets that exists,” Wells said.

Paul Flores Clavel ’22 witnessed one of the stickers. “It’s disappointing but not surprising,” he said. “I think we forget Middlebury isn’t immune to white supremacists.”

Wells notes that while the stickers mark a small incident, their connection to an organization whose ideologies have been tied to acts of hate and violence is impossible to ignore.

“It’s important to know that things like this happen all over the place and they’re not reflections of the institution, the place where it happens, but rather a part of larger cultural tensions and movements,” Wells said.

In response to the incident, the CBRT hosted a Restorative Circle on the night of Tuesday, Jan. 14. Typically, circles allow spaces for those who have been harmed and those who have caused harm to meet and communicate, although in this case, because the poster of the stickers has not been identified, the circle was simply a space for those impacted to discuss the situation.

“There’s not much that you can do in terms of prevention, but we can certainly condemn them, whether it’s someone from campus or someone external,” Wells said of the decision to host the circle. “We can condemn it, we can be mindful of the impact.”

DPS has opened an investigation into the posting of the stickers, because their nature and location violate the college’s policy on decency and vandalism.

“Stickers placed in this manner are an act of disrespect of college property as well as unlawful mischief, commonly known as vandalism,” Lisa Burchard, director of public safety, said.

At this time, DPS has interviewed the staff members who found the stickers, but has not been able to identify a responsible person. They believe that the stickers were placed over December break.

Plans to roll out security cameras in locations across campus by the end of this academic year could increase the likelihood of identifying people responsible for events like this.

“In the future, there may be a camera near an entrance, and it may contain video footage of an incident such as this one,” Burchard said. “Posting hate material that is designed and intended to intimidate members of our community is a violation of our college policies.”

Administrators are reviewing a security camera policy right now. Burchard says that the policy has been drafted in a way that will allow DPS to review footage when it related to situations of safety, security, violations of law and violations of college policy.
"....intended to intimidate..." what proof is there of this allegation? None. Fearmongering in print is very poor journalism, and a clear indicator that this institution of "higher learning" has been severely degraded. Pictures attached to the story show the heavy hand of censorship present as well. It seems there is a truth that these propagandists do not want known!

Man Puts Up Neo-Nazi Group Stickers In Brookline: Police Logs
Police said the man was putting up Patriot Front stickers around town. Patriot Front supports white supremacy and anti-semitism.
By Jenna Fisher, Patch Staff

BROOKLINE, MA — Police respond to dozens of emergency calls each day. The following reports are taken from the public police log and the Brookline Police blog. It's important to note that just because someone reports an incident to police doesn't mean that's the way it happened.

White Nationalist Activity: Police arrested Noah Bogosh, 22, listed as homeless, and charged him with vandalism and public consumption of marijuana. Police were called to Davis Ave at Waverly Street for a report of suspicious activity. When they got there the man who called told police he saw a white man wearing a dark jacket and hood carrying a piece of luggage. The man told police when the guy walked past him he "gave him a very uneasy feeling." He told police he then saw the man put a sicker on a No Parking sign. The sticker read "Not stolen conquered. Patriotfront.us." When police confronted the man, he was smoking pot and indicated he was also responsible for a sticker that said "better dead than red. patriotfront.us" with a red communist symbol with a blue arrow going through it on a trash can nearby. Several organizations such as the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Anti-Defamation League have classified Patriot Front as a white supremacist, neo-Nazi, and neo-fascist group which utilizes imagery of accepted American values to promote its broader alt-right ideology, police said. After they arrested Bogosh, police said they found he had several other stickers, which were confiscated as evidence, those stickers read "United We Stand. Patriotfront.us"
Being under the influence of drugs, whether prescribed or not, and activism really don't mix.

‘This Is Completely Wrong’: Racist ‘It’s Okay to Be White’ Sticker Planted On Elementary School
January 22, 2020 at 3:15 pm

COLUMBUS, Ohio (CBS Local) — A sticker with the phrase “IT’S OKAY TO BE WHITE” that was placed on an elementary school in Ohio has prompted an investigation. The sticker was taped to a window at Binns Elementary School in Columbus, WCMH reported. The sticker circulated on social media after parents found it at the school this past weekend.

“This is completely wrong,” said Jessica Kaylor, one of the parents who found the sticker. “It doesn’t belong in schools, it does not belong. It’s 2020. It just does not belong.”

“It’s important that we all work together to keep our children safe and our schools a welcoming environment that’s conducive to learning and growth for everyone,” said Jacqueline Bryant, Director of Communications at Columbus City Schools.

It’s not the first time the slogan has appeared on buildings in Ohio and across the nation. In November, Ohio Wesleyan and Ohio State universities removed flyers and stickers with the slogan from campus, The Columbus Dispatch reported.

The “It’s Okay To Be White” slogan was popularized in late 2017 as a trolling campaign by members of the controversial discussion forum 4chan, according to the Anti-Defamation League.

“Whether the original trollers were white supremacist or not, actual white supremacists quickly began to promote the campaign — often adding Internet links to white supremacist websites to the fliers or combining the phrase with white supremacist language or imagery,” the ADL says.
It appears a White student or teacher has had enough of the enforced Cult of Diversity brainwashing at his or her school.

Racist flyers circulated in East Vancouver

Warning:
The following post contains disturbing and offensive content.

Vancouver Police are investigating after a number of racist flyers surfaced in East Vancouver this week.

The words "white man" are written in bold and all capital letters at the top of the flyers followed by an exclamation point. The flyer asks, "Are you sick and tired of Anti-White propaganda constantly being promoted by our universities, mainstream media and government?"

Following a similar comment, the flyer proclaims, "You are not alone!"

The flyer also features a number of images of religious and cultural symbols that have been crossed out.

A closing statement on the flyer reads that, "White Nationalism is North America's fastest-growing civil rights movement, and the only movement that puts the interest of our people's first!"

Vancouver Police are investigating after a number of racist flyers surfaced in East Vancouver this week.

On Twitter, Morgane Oger, LGBTQ+ activist, tweeted about the flyers, stating that, "This disgusting flyer was distributed in Vancouver this weekend, on the lead up to #HolocaustMemorialDay"

"This illustrates why acts targeting people in communities because of who they are need to face consequences in publications, public institutions, and online."

Sgt. Aaron Roed, VPD media relations officer, told Vancouver Is Awesome that an investigation is currently underway.

"We are aware of the flyers and we find this material extremely disturbing and offensive," said Roed. "Our Criminal Intelligence Unit and our Hate Crimes Unit are actively investigating."

According to Roed, a number of flyers were found on windshields in the Vancouver Kingsway area.

Road adds that anyone who fears for their safety should immediately call 911.

Anyone with further information is asked to call the non-emergency Vancouver police line at 604-717-3321.
Those activists doing the flyering exercise exceptional bravery as they'll be persecuted by the Jewed governments throughout Canada for expressing pro-White views. Whites in the US would do well to emulate them and can do so at much lower risk.

Comments are available at the bottom of that webpage.

White activism at Boston MA in the news

Simmons University investigating after racist flier sent to professor
By Travis Andersen Globe Staff,Updated January 24, 2020, 3:34 p.m.

A Simmons University professor recently received a racist flier in a faculty mailbox, according to a dean at the Boston school.

The troubling incident was detailed in an e-mail message that Dr. Stephanie Berzin, dean of Simmons’s College of Social Sciences, Policy, and Practice, addressed to the “Social Work Community” on Tuesday.

The note was obtained by the Globe. Berzin didn’t name the professor who was targeted.

“As some of you might know, an offensive and racist flyer was left in a faculty member’s mailbox last week in the School of Social Work mailboxes,” Berzin wrote. “No other flyers were found in any of the other mailboxes and Public Safety is doing an investigation.”

Berzin didn’t detail the contents of the bigoted message.

“It is critically important that we come together as a community at this time,” Berzin wrote, inviting recipients to attend a “community conversation” about the incident that was held on Wednesday. “I know this is deeply distressing news and might prompt a lot of thoughts and feelings. I encourage you to speak with faculty, social work leadership, the Assistant Dean for Community Engagement and Social Justice, Gary Bailey, or the campus counseling center.”

Berzin continued, “I’ll end by reminding us all that this incident goes against everything our School and Simmons stands for — and that we are working hard to respond, and to prevent these actions from occurring. Our goal is to build a strong, inclusive community and these actions will not be tolerated.”

Laura Wareck, a Simmons spokeswoman, released a statement Friday on the bigoted act from an assailant who so far remains anonymous.

“Simmons University’s Department of Public Safety is investigating a racist and offensive flyer that was found in a faculty member’s mailbox," Wareck said. "That investigation is currently ongoing. Simmons is committed to fostering a strong, inclusive community and we take this matter seriously. We have alerted the campus community, hosted a community meeting and will continue to offer support to our students and faculty impacted by this incident. We’ll also update the campus with additional information as we have it.”

Simmons is located in the Fenway section of Boston.

Its School of Social Work bills itself online as “distinguished in many ways — with nationally acclaimed faculty, a strong emphasis on clinical practice, and our ideal Boston location among world-renowned teaching hospitals and research facilities."

According to its site, the social work school’s “progressive, hands-on curriculum integrates education and practice with social justice values, multicultural perspectives and field work placements. Our students and alumnae/i share a devotion for empowering society’s most vulnerable members and protecting the health and well-being of their communities.”
No evidence of the flyer is being shown, no description of its contents, and no one specified as its so-called target. Sounds a lot like fake news.

Considering that this particular witch hunt of a free speech practitioner is being announced in the Jewed Boston Globe, and since it's unknown if the origin of the flyer is from any pro-White group or even individual, I'm going out on a limb here and guessing that the news of flyering activity has taken place from a pro-White source. The only clue that it could be is the fact that there's lots of whining and moaning about the "racist" and "bigoted" message---words never applied to non-Whites, Jews, homosexuals, or what have you--only to healthy Whites. The possibility that this is a hoax is significant in my view as only one person was targeted.

Distributing messages at university faculty members by dropping them in post-free mailboxes is worth pointing out as one more method activists use. National Alliance policy indicates that our message be aimed at healthy Whites, not at specific non-Whites, Jews, or other Whites that are ineligible for Alliance membership.

‘It’s okay to be white’ racist posters spotted around UoB campus

News
BRISTOL

"It's okay to be white" posters were discovered around Bristol campus this morning.

The use of this slogan has been linked to fascist groups including Generation Identity.

Ben, a fourth year French and Spanish student, told The Bristol Tab: "The posters are disgusting. There is no need or reason for them at all – I don't know a single sane, emotionally secure person who is any way worried that being white is unacceptable."

"White Nationalists worry about this sort of thing, not intelligent, educated people.

"I mean, these people must be genuinely insecure about themselves if they need to reassure themselves publicly that the colour of their skin is 'okay'…"

Graffiti bearing the same slogan was spotted around Bristol last week.

Students and staff have been quick to respond. Bristol Student-Staff Solidarity said: "We are absolutely disgusted and furious to find that somebody, or a group of individuals have been putting up posters around campus that say 'it's okay to be white'.

"The implication in this statement is intended to suggest that there is some sort of attack on whiteness by some sort of 'woke' agenda. It directly suggests that there is some sort of attempt to subdue white people as if they are some oppressed minority. The important question to ask is who are they supposing is orchestrating this attack on whiteness?"

What started as a campaign against media backlash in the US in 2017 was appropriated by white supremacist groups.

It spread to the UK among other places, and similar signs have been discovered previously at Liverpool Uni and Southampton Uni.

A University of Bristol spokesperson told the Bristol Tab: "The University of Bristol aspires to be a community where everyone should feel safe, welcomed and respected.

"Together with the Students’ Union, we have been working actively with staff and students to ensure that our commitment to inclusion, diversity and equality is reflected in all aspects of our University.

"It appears that the posters have so far only been seen in public spaces – we have not had any reports of them being put up in University premises.

"We would ask that if anyone sees one of these posters on university premises, they take them down and contact security services."
"Intelligent, educated people" don't worry about the White race, eh? Now there's a smear to indicate this is nothing but a hit piece. Benny might think he's "intelligent" and "educated" but the strawman he just knocked down indicates he's good at ad hominem, not scholarly and reasoned discourse.
