SPLC urges Amazon.com to blacklist ‘haters’

Far left group uses its hate listings to demonize conservatives

For many years, the Southern Poverty Law Center has labeled groups with values it doesn’t tolerate as “hate groups,” but now the organization is taking its attacks a step further, demanding Amazon and PayPal blacklist bloggers and websites that don’t fall in line with its leftist agenda.

Headlined “Financing Hate” in the group’s Intelligence Report publication, the Southern Poverty Law Center, or SPLC, listed 91 “hate groups” ranging from those clearly on the fringe to mainstream bloggers and websites such as Catholic Family News, Atlas Shrugs, Jihad Watch, WND and the Americans for Legal Immigration PAC.

Clearly stating its opposition, it describes how some of the organizations utilize Amazon, PayPal and other online services to sell products.

SPLC said the Intelligence Report contacted Amazon in September about the participation of “hate groups” and “hate sites” in Amazon programs that earn the groups commissions.

Amazon, according to the report, said it would assign “appropriate teams to investigate, review applicable policies, and take appropriate action.”

But SPLC lamented that some of its targets “were still earning commissions through Amazon.”

Several of the targeted organizations have criticized the “thuggish” behavior of SPLC, charging the organization is “somewhere to the left of Karl Marx.”

Renowned Islam expert Robert Spencer, whose Jihad Watch monitor on Islamic radicalism was targeted, said it shows “the desperate insecurity of the left: even at a time when they control the government, the media, and the entertainment industry, they have to strike out against the small, under-financed voices of truth that challenge their hegemony.”

“It also demonstrates their true totalitarian colors, in their absolute unwillingness to tolerate the smallest dissent. This is Goliath striking out against David. But we all know who wins,” Spencer said.

William Gheen, whose organization, Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, or ALIPAC, opposes illegal immigration and amnesty, said it was all too much.

In an open letter to SPLC posted online and to be “delivered to your offices by certified mail and then turned over to our attorney for further action,” Gheen said SPLC’s claims are “demonstrably false.”

“This letter is to inform you that we have Internet posts and emails containing threats and death threats against my life and the lives of my family members in reaction to your false claims that we are a hate group,” he said. “The threats we have received specifically cite SPLC claims that suggest we are somehow motivated by racism and advocating violence against minorities, both of which are demonstrably false.”

The issue of “hate,” “hate crimes” and “hate speech” has moved back into the headlines now because of a proposal in Congress to evaluate online speech for “hate” and then take action based on that assessment.

As WND reported, if two Democratic lawmakers have their way, Barack Obama’s Justice Department soon will submit a report for action against any Internet sites, broadcast, cable television or radio shows determined to be advocating or encouraging “violent acts.”

That’s from the text of a new bill from Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass., and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y.

The Hate Crime Reporting Act of 2014 “would create an updated comprehensive report examining the role of the Internet and other telecommunications in encouraging hate crimes based on gender, race, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation and create recommendations to address such crimes,” stated a news release from Markey’s office.

Gheen said SPLC is “fully aware” that ALIPAC is “racially inclusive … and that a substantial percentage of our supporters are minorities.”

“The SPLC is fully aware that ALIPAC has openly and eagerly worked with minority organizations and leaders,” he said. “The SPLC is fully aware that I have a background in registering and transporting minority and student voters and working to elect women and minorities to public office in the ’90s. The SPLC is fully aware that we never intentionally work with any racist or violent groups or individuals, and you are aware that we have publicly spoken out against racism and racist groups and individuals on numerous occasions.”

The letter, he wrote, is to “serve as your official notice of all of the factors I’ve listed here including your official notice that your designation of ALIPAC as a hate group, while no evidence exists that anyone in our organization has ever engaged in racism, hate, or violence against minorities, has crossed the line of civil discourse and is now directly encouraging people to threaten violence against me and my family.”

He charged that SPLC was “attempting to mislead our donations company, PayPal, by telling them that we are one of the 91 ‘hate groups’ using their services in the hopes they will stop allowing us to accept donations which pale in comparison to your multimillion dollar yearly budget.”

“Let this letter serve as notice to each of you at the Southern Poverty Law Center including Morris Dees, Mark Potok, and Heidi Beirich that I personally intend to hold you each legally responsible and personally responsible for any physical harm that befalls me, my organization, or my family due to your intentional lies and distortions.”

Gheen said the organization’s “false characterization of groups has led to violence such as the D.C. shooter Floyd Corkins, who tried to kill as many people as possible at the Family Research Council.”

“I believe it is time we put to the test in the courts your false claims and attempts to stir people and companies up against us by mischaracterizing a peaceful multiracial organization such as ALIPAC as similar to Neo-Nazis and the KKK,” he said.

Corkins, a homosexual activist, told investigators he had obtained his information about the Family Research Council from the Southern Poverty Law Center, which publicly had labeled FRC a “hate group” because of its biblical position on homosexuality.

SPLC lists the American Family Association, a traditional Christian ministry focusing on helping families, and the Family Research Council, in the same category as groups like the “Aryan Nations,” because of their biblically based opposition to homosexuality.

“White nationalist” and “racist skinhead” groups are posted in a warning list alongside the family organizations. It was the SPLC’s “Hate Map” that apparently was used by Corkins to identify Christians to kill in 2012.

Spencer told WND the listing of his group by SPLC was “bitterly ironic.”

“The SPLC has a multimillion-dollar budget, gathered by frightening leftists with smear propaganda about right-wing ‘hate groups,’” he said. “They have artificially inflated their list of such groups by including mainstream and reputable conservative groups and groups fighting for the defense of constitutional freedoms and human rights (like Jihad Watch), while largely turning a blind eye to genuine hate groups on the left, as well as Islamic jihad groups.”

Spencer noted that SPLC has “a huge endowment and massively inflated salaries – and now, in their authoritarian quest to stamp out all dissent, they’re targeting tiny organizations that rely on small ($25, $50) donations from PayPal and Amazon to finance their small blades-of-grass-through-the-concrete challenges to the stifling leftist political orthodoxy that currently dominates the public discourse, and of which the SPLC is a thuggish defender.”

Author Pamela Geller, who writes at Atlas Shrugs, told WND the SPLC is a “far left group that uses its hate group listings to demonize conservatives and anyone who dissents from its statist, authoritarian agenda.”

“Its hate group list is so tendentious and politically motivated that they were recently removed from a government website’s listing of resources on hate groups,” she said.

“The ill-gotten wealth of the SPLC amounts to tens of millions of dollars, while those whom they target, the supporters of freedom, are meagerly financed by average Americans who want freedom preserved in this country. The SPLC is highlighting Amazon and PayPal because they are the online means for Average Joes to send money to pro-freedom groups. These subversive destroyers mean to shut us down.”

Judson Phillips, whose Tea Party Nation also was listed, said SPLC is “the ultimate left-wing hate group. This is a group that is somewhere to the left of Karl Marx, and they hate real Americans.”

WND Editor and CEO Joseph Farah, who long as been personally targeted by SPLC, along with the news site he founded, said, “The Southern Poverty Law Center is hardly a credible watchdog on so-called ‘hate groups.’ In fact, it is a hate group. But, sadly, with its budget of hundreds of millions of dollars and its cozy relationship with government and the media elite, it has more power and influence than most Americans realize. Its hateful finger-pointing at companies and organizations has actually resulted in real acts of violence, as is the case of the Family Research Council shooting attack. I actually consider it a badge of honor to be targeted by the SPLC. But their attacks do come at a price, because they actually do place real targets on the backs of their enemies.”

WND previously reported on the wide range of groups the SPLC labels as “hate groups,” including the World Congress of Families.

SPLC even has attacked the Drudge Report and Breitbart Editor Ben Shapiro.

The looming “hate crimes” reporting plan has been supported by the National Hispanic Media Coalition, as well as the SPLC.

WND reported that the new one-page bill calls for the Justice Department and the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights to “analyze information on the use of telecommunications, including the Internet, broadcast television and radio, cable television, public access television, commercial mobile services, and other electronic media, to advocate and encourage violent acts and the commission of crimes of hate.”

The bill does not define which actions by broadcasters would be considered to have encouraged violence, seemingly leaving that open to interpretation.

Once the report is compiled, the bill calls for “any recommendations” for action “consistent with the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States” that is determined to be an “appropriate and necessary” way to address the purported encouragement of violent acts.

The Boston Herald took issue with the bill, calling it “frankly chilling” that Markey is seeking to “empower an obscure federal agency to begin scouring the Internet, TV and radio for speech it finds threatening.”

“Perhaps he could crack a briefing book on the crisis in Ukraine rather than looking for his own extra-constitutional methods of punishing speech he finds unacceptable,” added the Herald editorial.

Speaing of blacklists, here are 242 on an interesting list of Politically Incorrect people, in more or less chronilogical order from the time they were blacklisted. The first 25 on the list are below with the remaining ones, seen here: https://www.socialmatter.net/the-new-blacklist/

The New Blacklist

Perhaps Morris Dees, with his infinite wisdom on "hate," can find the wherewithal
to use a small portion of SPLC financial war-chest to provide the derrière of Miss Heidi
with a "wide load" sign. It certainly works with double-wide manufactured housing!
At least give White folks an idea what is coming...!

These booksellers at Moon Rock Books are trying to go where Cosmotheist Books has already been. They are perplexed as to why PayPal and Stripe online financial services have banned them.

I looked at the Moon Rock site and the books they sell are mostly conspiracy titles, not the sort of stuff that scares SPLC or other censors.

Example of title at Moon Rock Books

It's public knowledge that PayPal and Stripe and other online financial services are told by the SPLC who they should deplatform, who to deny the used of credit cards to purchase their products online: https://www.reddit.com/r/KotakuInAction ... rship_and/

* * * * * *

The leading defender of online civil liberties, the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), has informed Moon Rock Books that evidence of the recent “financial censorship” it has experienced at the hands of PayPal and Stripe, will be delivered to the U.S. Congress

As EFF explains on its website:

“When financial institutions and payment intermediaries shut down accounts or inhibit transactions, it can have serious ramifications for free expression online. Websites, whether they accept online donations, sell goods online, or simply have a bank account, rely on their financial institutions to ensure they can continue to operate. We’ve seen examples of pressure being exerted on a website’s wallet to try to shut down lawful speech.”

Someone’s coming after us, but we don’t know who

For years, we operated properly and lawfully, conducting our business responsibly and ethically, always putting our customers first.

Then, out of the blue, PayPal dropped us in the early morning hours of August 28. No reason given, no time to find another payment processor.

Two days later, we signed up with Stripe, “The new standard in online payments.”

All was good for five days, and then the email arrived, informing us that our business presented “a higher level of risk than [Stripe was] able to work with.”

To Stripe’s credit, they gave us a few days to find a new payment processor, which has been a whole lot of fun.

So, here we are, with one day to go
We don’t know how long it’s going to take us to find an online payment processor, so if you’d like to get some of our books, and pay using your credit or debit card, you might want to do that now.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for supporting our effort to bring you books that are almost universally condemned.

As someone really wise said:

“If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.”

Jewish Censorship: Meet the
New Plan, Same as the Old Plan

https://nationalvanguard.org/2019/11/je ... -old-plan/

Introduction by Bradford Hanson: Here in this Washington Post article is the latest excrescence, excerpted below, of the System’s thinking about how they are going to try to stop the avalanche of awakening that the National Alliance, National Vanguard, and other truth-tellers have started. It’s mostly just a rehash of what they’re doing already: More censorship, more deplatforming, and, hilariously, more “anti-racist” propaganda in the controlled media — which is already so saturated with such more and more obviously anti-White agenda-driven Jewish garbage that it’s actually helping the awakening. Below are the relevant sections of the piece, which just came out today. It’s interesting how much they inadvertently admit to here.

* * *

SO what do we do?

While restricting Internet hate speech is important, we might also consider devising a counterattack. Almost a century ago, when Jewish advocacy groups confronted the spread of fascist propaganda in the United States, they cooperated with other organizations and American mass media to produce counterpropaganda. This history shows that when social activists and media industry professionals join forces, they can mount a formidable challenge to the toxic rhetoric of the far right.

American anti-Semitism reached an apogee in the 1930s, spurred by the radio diatribes of the known anti-Semite Father Charles Coughlin and the scapegoating of Jews for the Great Depression. In response, the American Jewish Committee (AJC) established the Survey Committee, made up of professionals in fields including advertising, Hollywood filmmaking, broadcasting and academia. Its objective was to monitor the dissemination of anti-Semitic propaganda in the United States. Under advertising executive Richard Rothschild’s direction, the Survey Committee also mounted a counterattack, producing what historian Stuart Svonkin calls “propaganda against prejudice.”

The Survey Committee quickly evolved into a complex web of interconnected committees, divisions and sections. The Film Section advised Hollywood studios to ensure their films didn’t inadvertently perpetuate Jewish stereotypes. The Magazine Section placed news items and editorials about the harmful effects of prejudice in some of the nation’s most popular publications. And the Mass Media Education Committee, made up of powerful executives from the advertising and entertainment industries, met regularly to discuss new ways of using media to curb social biases.

The head of the Radio-Television Section was Milton Krents. Newly hired at the AJC, Krents stood before a map of the United States and, like a general positioning troops on the battlefield, used pin tacks to identify radio stations. “Today, Nazi Germany is waging a new kind of war,” he wrote in an essay for the Contemporary Jewish Record (the predecessor to Commentary magazine). “In place of the shock troops of the first World War are giant radio transmitters firing their invisible salvos of subversive ideas in a never-ceasing barrage.” For Krents, propaganda was as powerful as artillery fire.

A bevy of media theories and tactics emerged from the AJC’s work. Each had a unique name, usually dreamed up by either Rothschild or Krents.

“Quarantine” was Rothschild’s term for relegating anti-Semitic smears to the margins of public discourse. The goal was to avoid inadvertently publicizing Nazi invective. In the essay “Are American Jews Falling Into the Nazi Trap?” Rothschild wrote that when the Germans claimed their objective was to safeguard civilization from the Jews, American Jews shouldn’t contest the point; that would only serve to spread the lie. Instead, they should flip the script by characterizing the Nazis as the threat. Then they should identify their cause as America’s cause and show that America represents the forces of good.

Another strategy, coined by Krentz, was “salting in,” or sprinkling positive messages into popular programming. Krents preferred this method to producing original anti-prejudice broadcasts, arguing that when messages are “salted in,” they are less likely to “boomerang,” or be rejected by the public as Jewish propaganda.

Krents “salted in” socially liberal messages on the “Uncle Don” radio show, a popular children’s program that reached millions of young listeners over station WOR in New York. The Mass Media Division helped develop “Superman” story lines that pitted the caped crusader against the forces of fascism, both foreign and domestic. The committee even created new series, such as the 1942 radio show “Dear Adolph,” in which archetypal Americans read letters to the Führer and pledged their support to overcome leaders who would, as James Cagney declared, “set class against class, whites against negroes, Christians against Jews. And we know they’re playing Adolph’s game — and we’re onto them.”

The AJC didn’t mount its counterpropaganda campaign alone. There were many civic organizations, defense leagues and civil rights associations engaged in the fight. Spurred by the rise of the Nazi propaganda machine, these groups marshaled the power of American mass media to fight extremism.

After the war, they continued to operate as a united front, fighting not just anti-Semitism but “prejudice,” a purposely broad term identifying the common enemy of America’s diverse racial, ethnic and religious groups. As part of this effort, the AJC helped produce “The Challenge,” a hybrid film noir/informational film dramatizing the 1947 report issued by the President’s Committee on Civil Rights. In the 1950s and 1960s, the AJC presented anti-prejudice TV specials that aired on the “Big Three” networks — NBC, CBS and ABC — reaching as many as 7 million viewers in a single evening.

When Jacinda Ardern, the prime minister of New Zealand, refused to say the name of the Christchurch shooter before the news media, she was implementing the strategy of quarantine. When Web hosting and Internet security providers denied services to 8chan and Gab, temporarily shutting down these sites, which hatemongers have used as platforms, the noxious rhetoric of the far right was somewhat contained.

If today’s media industry professionals — from social media chief executives to TV writers to celebrities to online advertisers — want to stem the tide of extremism online and across culture, they should coordinate with advocacy groups on the model developed by the AJC, not only working to contain incendiary speech but also producing counterpropaganda against hate.

Today’s media landscape is dramatically different from that of the mid-20th century, but the problems we confront now are also frighteningly familiar and enduring. As racism and bigotry online continue to inspire acts of bloodshed, looking to the past for answers becomes more urgent. We don’t have time to lose.

The only way I can get there is on my cellphone which is making it damned near impossible to moderate.
I know Don was getting DDOS attacks daily and now this certificate thing.
Just one royal PITA.

It has been difficult lately to get through to put up the link each week to our ADV broadcast or to respond to PMs people send to me there. I've never seen SF down so much.

Go to your Windows Control Panel, select Internet Options, go to Advanced, untick Check for Publishers & Security Certificate Revocation and reboot. You must then view SF in I.E.

https://www.stormfront.org/forum/ is the only address that will work, but once everything above is set, you can use SF as per normal.

So, this topic thread is about Jews controlling Amazon.com. Jews control much more than that online, including the cripping of the purchasing of products from our online bookstore <https://cosmotheistchurch.org/product-category/books/> denying customers use of PayPal or of their credit cards. They can use cryptocurrency, yes, but how many people do that? I sure don't. People use credit cards. In fact I purchased a book from Amazon last night using a credit card. Imagine Amazon customers having to buy books using Bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency. At least our customers can still order books and CDs from us by mail, sending checks or money orders...for now, anyway.***

Someone like you who is very proficient with IT can figure out how to get around the Jew censors. But someone like myself is not inclined to even find out where my Windows Control Panel is located, much less go through all the other steps required to get to Publishers & Security Certificate Revocation, then reboot. It's simply not that important for me to go through all that so I can put up an ADV link at Stormfront. Anyone who manages to get on SF and can get to the popular stickied Cosmotheist Ideology/Philosophy topic, where ADVs are linked <https://www.stormfront.org/forum/t10862 ... st14998689> can find the National Alliance and NationalVanguard.org.
***During World War I, the U.S. government took steps to suppress dissent among its citizens. The most obvious manifestation of this was the passage of the Espionage and Sedition Acts...The act also allowed the postal service to deny mail delivery to dissenters of government policy during wartime. Just a quick "thank you" for Rev. Campbell. I tried your suggestion on how to allow Internet Explorer to allow me to access Stormfront, and it worked like a charm (well, on the second attempt).

Still cannot get much done on SF, because internal problems persist, making it difficult to post to the discussion forums or to update the National Socialist Union social group (which I manage), but at least I can log in.

Looks like daily log-ins by registered users are down about 90%...
