White nationalist flyers placed on cars in Iowa City parking ramp
POSTED ON NOV 2, 2018 BY PAUL BRENNAN

Drivers who parked in the Dubuque Street Parking Ramp have been finding flyers with a white nationalist message stuck on their windshields, according to the Iowa City Police Department.

“Officers responded to the Dubuque Street Parking Ramp, 220 S. Dubuque St., on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018,” ICPD said in a statement on Friday. “There they found papers placed on vehicles that read ‘It’s okay to be white.’ No other markings or wording were displayed.”

White nationalism in Iowa has been in the news, as Rep. Steve King’s long-standing association with white nationalist politicians and his endorsement of their racist and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories have been receiving renewed attention.

In August, King, who is currently seeking his ninth-term in Congress representing western Iowa, gave an “exclusive” interview to a site associated with an anti-immigrant Austrian political party, founded by a former Nazi SS officer. During the interview, King not only embraced the anti-Semitic, white nationalist theory favored by the Austrian party (“Great replacement, yes.”), but also espoused an American version of it.

King claimed immigrants, including those who entered the country legally but haven’t embraced the values King favors, are undermining America.

“I have said that diversity is not a strength. The Left just repeats it again and again, but it is mindless,” King told the Austrian site. “What does this diversity bring that we don’t already have? Mexican food, Chinese food, those things, well, that’s fine, but what does it bring that we don’t have that is worth the price?”

King invoked the death of Mollie Tibbetts, as an example of the “price” of immigration: “The Left thinks all people and cultures are interchangeable and diversity is always good, and we can tolerate the rape and the murder that goes along with it, like Molly [sic] Tibbetts, for example.”

On Friday, King aired his first TV ad in this year’s election, and its text appears to allude his embrace of white nationalist beliefs about America’s decline, as also pushback against criticism of his habit of retweeting people with neo-Nazi ties.

“I know most of you agree our country is slipping away,” King says in voiceover. “Well, I think it’s worth fighting for, no matter whose toes have to be stepped on to make it right.”

The flyers in the Dubuque Street Parking Ramp are not the first time “It’s Okay to Be White” material has been distributed in Iowa City. During the Women’s March in January, a man wearing a Pepe the Frog hoodie was plastering the Ped Mall with stickers bearing that message.

When march-goers spotted him, the man tried to hide his face and then ducked into MERGE, the co-working space next to the Iowa City Public Library, in an attempt to avoid being recognized. He was later identified as Jonathan Charles Koch, who has been listed on Iowa Sex Offender Registery since he was convicted of possession of child pornography in 2009. Koch also pled guilty in 2007 to running an illegal gambling operation.

Two weeks before Koch was spotted on the Ped Mall with his stickers, flyers from the neo-Nazi-affiliated National Alliance were distributed in the Wetherby Park area, one of Iowa City’s most racially diverse neighborhoods. The flyers were wrapped around copies of the Davenport-based River Cities Reader, a free monthly newspaper, and thrown onto lawns and driveways. (“We do not distribute in Iowa City, let alone do home delivery, and we are not in any way associated with whatever organization or individual is responsible for this,” Reader Publisher Todd McGreevy told Little Village, after the flyers were found.)

On Jan. 22, the Davenport Police discovered James Lee Mathias putting the same flyers on cars at a high school sports facility. Mathias, a Davenport resident and frequent poster on white nationalist sites, was carrying a concealed handgun at the time. He was arrested for carrying a firearm on school property. It hasn’t been established whether Mathias was involved with Iowa City flyers.

In its statement on Friday, ICPD pointed that no matter how objectionable the flyers in the Dubuque Street Parking Ramp were, no laws had actually been broken.

Although this type of language may be considered offensive, unwelcoming, and goes against our values as an inclusive community, it is protected by the First Amendment, and does not meet the legal definition of a hate crime.

“Community members should report these types of incidents to the Police Department by calling 319-356-6800,” ICPD said. “Officers will then respond, investigate, and monitor.”

Dozens of white nationalism fliers hung in Pittsburgh's South Hills on Election Day
The fliers littered Brookline, Dormont and Mount Lebanon and backed the white nationalism group Patriot Front.
By Ryan Deto

Two weeks ago, alleged shooter Robert Bowers killed 11 people at the Tree of Life synagogue. According to CNN, Bowers blamed Jews for helping immigrants, who he called “invaders,” enter the country.

And today, a similar anti-immigrant, far-right message is making an appearance in South Hills, and given the timing, ostensibly aiming to have an effect on voters.

Dozens of fliers and stickers were placed on light posts, bus stops, and mailboxes all over Brookline, Dormont, and Mount Lebanon with anti-socialist and anti-immigrant messages.

The signs advertised Patriot Front, listed as a white nationalism group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. According to the Patriot Front manifesto, “An African, for example, may have lived, worked, and even been classed as a citizen in America for centuries, yet he is not American.”

The fliers and stickers read "Reclaim America" and “Better Dead than Red” as an apparent denouncement of socialism.

Lori Rice is a health-care worker and Brookline resident who was contacted by a friend about the signs. She posted pictures of the signs on social media. She said they were scattered all over Brookline on Pioneer Avenue, a busy street in the neighborhood. After her social media post, she said many neighbors started removing signs.

Rice said some of the stickers told people to call a number if “they noticed illegals,” apparently referring to undocumented immigrants. Rice said that Brookline has a large Latino and Muslim community and she was dismayed by the anti-immigrant messaging of the stickers.

“It concerns me greatly, especially because we have such a diverse community,” said Rice.

Rice also denounced the “red scare” tactics of the fliers. Over the last week, an anti-socialist campaign has been directed at Democratic Socialist of America member and state Rep. candidate Sara Innamorato (D-Lawrenceville). According to WESA, Innamorato was recently targeted with a death threat. State Sen. candidate Lindsey Williams (D-West View) also was the target of an anti-socialist campaign, with fliers that called her a “radical” and “extremist” because she backed DSA-championed policies like Medicare-for-all.

Rice was particularly concerned about the placement of the signs and the effect they could have on children, given that they were posted near bus stops and an ice cream shop. The signs shared the Patriot Front’s website, which Rice said children could easily visit on their smartphones.

Rice also condemned the timing on the fliers’ appearances, considering the Tree of Life mass shooting and that alleged shooter Bowers shared similar anti-immigrant and far-right views.

“That anyone would be pushing this hatred especially after what happened to our neighbors is unconscionable,” said Rice. She also criticized President Donald Trump for espousing such strong anti-immigrant sentiments, and feels he is making it easier for people to share these views. “I hate to bring politics into this, because I think it is mostly a moral issue, but our president tends to inflame these people and encourage them to push these messages.”

The South Hills has experience dealing with members of the far-right and white supremacy. Hardy Lloyd, a white supremacist who was jailed last year, walked by a liberal rally in Mount Lebanon and shouted “white power” in 2017. Bowers, who lived in Baldwin, had an extensive history of anti-Semitic and anti-immigrant social media posts. Latin American grocery store Las Palmas was vandalized with anti-immigrant messages twice in the last few years.

<picture: Patriot Front stickers>

The South Pittsburgh Development Corporation also condemned the fliers and said the “appearance of white nationalist stickers” is “deeply concerning.” The group issued a statement reading in part: “These messages of intolerance are unwelcome in our melting pot neighborhood, where people of all races, ethnicities, and faiths come together every day to live and work. … In the wake of the terrible tragedy at the Tree of Life synagogue, anti-Semitism and other messages of fearful intolerance cannot be ignored. Politically motivated, fearful messages like these help create such events, but Brookline is not fearful and we will not stand for these messages in our neighborhood.”

Pittsburgh City Councilor Anthony Coghill (D-Beechview) issued a statement on Facebook indicating that Pittsburgh Police have been made aware of the fliers and stickers. Coghill called the stickers “hateful actions.” He encouraged people to share information they have on the fliers with authorities.

“During this time of recent tragedy, District 4 chooses to stand in love and unity with the people of Pittsburgh,” Coghill wrote on Facebook. “Please know that we disavow these hateful posters and believe in a community filled with love.”

In the end, Rice hopes the voters reject the messages of the fliers, and thinks they might actually encourage people to embrace politicians who spread a unifying message.

“Honestly I am hoping that it makes people go vote for people that really care about our country,” said Rice. “I think this will push to people to the side of the people who want to protect everyone and make it safer for every person here.”
They didn't waste any time equating flyers posted around a few neighborhoods with several Jews getting killed for aiding and abetting the non-White invasion. There was no connection between the two.

‘It’s okay to be white’ flyers posted at Idaho university
By The Associated Press
Tues., Nov. 6, 2018

MOSCOW, IDAHO—Flyers with the slogan “it’s okay to be white” were posted on the University of Idaho campus and around Moscow last week as part of a provocation campaign by white nationalist groups.

The Moscow-Pullman Daily News reports the flyers were an apparent repeat of a year-old campaign stemming from online message boards, intending to create strong reactions.

<picture of tiki-torch bearing Whites at Charlottesville>

Washington State University Communications Director Phil Weiler says the Pullman campus was the site of the same campaign last year.

He says the flyers are not harmless, “they’re interested in being provocative, trying to upset people, trying to intimidate people.”

University President Chuck Staben says he is disappointed to see such flyers on campus, but personnel would not remove the ones posted on authorized surfaces, noting the university supports free speech.
Weiler's statement of the flyer distributors' intent indicates to me that he somehow reads their minds. I'd like to know how he does this.

Racist flyers found on-campus at USI
By: Britney Taylor

Updated: Nov 06, 2018 04:32 PM CST

A Facebook post of a discriminatory flyer posted on the University of Southern Indiana’s campus has many students, and voters, upset.

The University’s newspaper, The Shield, shared a post of the racist flyer on Tuesday.

There are several people on USI’s campus, who are disgusted with the social media post, and contents of the flyer.

According to The Shield, the posters were found in the university parking lot earlier this week.

The flyers originate from Creative Alliance – a far right white nationalist group.

The Shield reports that campus public safety officers, and Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating.

“It’s something that I really don’t want to see and I don't think it’s something that other people should be seeing. There’s really no place for it, it’s unacceptable, and I would not want it to be seen by anyone’” USI student, Chase Allen said.

USI has released a statement, which can be found below.

“It has come to my attention that three weeks ago, and for a second time this week, members of our campus community have returned to their vehicles, parked in campus parking lots, to find unwanted, inflammatory flyers on their windshields.

The University of Southern Indiana considers freedom of inquiry and discussion as essential to a student's educational development. But, leaflets and materials that may violate the law and constitute a genuine threat of unlawful harassment will not be tolerated.

This is an appropriate time to remind the community of our stated mission for this institution, which is as follows:

USI is an engaged learning community advancing education and knowledge, enhancing civic and cultural awareness and fostering partnerships through comprehensive outreach programs. We prepare individuals to live wisely in a diverse and global community.

The University greatly values civility and maintaining a climate of mutual respect among all of our members. I am asking everyone to consider the well-being of your neighbor. Take time to appreciate those traits and characteristics which make us different, but embrace and support the vast qualities that bind us together and make us more alike than unlike.“
"Shut your mind, close your eyes, block your ears, students!" seems to be what student Chase Allen is saying. Who taught him to do that? Isn't enrollment in an institution of higher learning about opening your eyes and mind to any and all concepts? Oh wait, I forgot that I lived in Jewed America 2018. :(

White nationalist flyers discovered on campus
Stickers and flyers were found in Herter, on lamp posts

By Michael Connors, Assistant News Editor
November 7, 2018

Several flyers and stickers for “Identity Evropa,” a white nationalist group designed to recruit college-aged men, were discovered across the University of Massachusetts on Wednesday morning.

Stickers were found displayed on lamp posts around the campus pond as well as posters hanging on bulletin boards on multiple floors of Herter Hall. “European roots American greatness” was written underneath the name “Identity Evropa.” A statue of Andrew Jackson in Jackson Square in New Orleans, Louisiana was also on the poster.

According to several photos from Identity Evropa’s official Twitter account, a staple of the group has been to set up flyers and posters across college campuses and major cities in America such as University of Rochester, Downtown Salt Lake City and University of Illinois.

The group, which was founded in 2016, is designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center and described as an organization focused on “raising white racial consciousness, building [a] community based on shared racial identity and intellectualizing white supremacist ideology.”

The Anti-Defamation League also identifies “Identity Evropa” as white supremacist, noting that the group deliberately targets college campuses through “fliers, posters, banners and stickers”

UMass student Benjamin Wiley, a junior studying classics, said that his Greek class had noticed a flyer hanging in their classroom on the sixth floor of Herter Hall.

“I had Greek this morning, and I got to class about 15 minutes early,” Wiley said. “I was just sitting there, talking to someone else and I looked up on the poster board and I saw that there was an Identity Evropa poster… We took it to one of the floor administrators because we thought it was likely there were more.”

After his class, Wiley said he was sitting in the history department lounge on the sixth floor of Herter Hall when he noticed a second poster hanging on the board there.

“I took that one down and brought it to a different administrator on that floor,” Wiley said.

Later that day, Wiley said he was talking to his Italian professor on the third floor of Herter, where he was informed that professors had found more flyers across the building.

“I’ve read about [Identity Evropa] in the news a lot, they’re pretty active,” Wiley said. “I know they’re really widespread across the country and I know that they are active on college campuses.”

Sonya Epstein, a freshman studying social thought and political economy who uses they/them pronouns, said their writing teacher brought their class out to take a look at a sticker on a lamp post near the Integrative Learning Center.

“Since we’ve been talking a lot about activism and topics around that, my teacher, who is a graduate student, was telling us about this group because she saw their stickers around campus,” Epstein said. “She took us out of the classroom so we could see the stickers, and she explained to us what the group was.”

Epstein posted a photo of the sticker on the popular Facebook group “Overheard at UMass” in an attempt to warn other students about what was being displayed across campus.

“I had never heard of this group before, and I knew that if I had personally walked past one of those I wouldn’t have given it a second glance because I didn’t know what it was,” Epstein said. “I just want people to be aware of what is happening on their campus, I want people to know who they are.”

Epstein, who lives in Melville Hall, the site of a racist incident last September, said that they found the flyers and stickers “horrifying.”

“There hasn’t been that much action being taken by the administration to counteract this and make the campus safe for everyone,” Epstein said. “It’s gotten to the point where it’s hate speech and it isn’t okay in any shape or form…it makes me upset and angry.”

History Department Chair Brian Ogilvie said that he was not sure when exactly the posters were hung up in Herter Hall, but that they were spread around the building. In addition to the posters on the sixth and third floor, another poster was found on the fifth floor and four were found in first and second floor classrooms.

“No one noticed them yesterday, so a good guess is that they went up either last night or this morning,” Ogilvie said.

Ogilvie said that he and other administrators had contacted Anna Branch, associate chancellor for equity and inclusion about the incident.

“We are currently leaving to [Branch] the decision on the proper way to handle this,” Ogilvie said. “I think Dr. Branch is in the position to determine what should be done about this in regard to working with campus leadership.

“Personally I think that it’s sickening that people are trying to spread this message of white supremacy and hate. It’s nothing that we want to be associated with. If any students are concerned about seeing this, they should go and talk to their professors about this.”

“The University denounces these acts of hate and intimidation,” Ed Blaguszewski, executive director of strategic communications at UMass, said in a statement. “University of Massachusetts Police were notified and are investigating the matter.”

This story has been updated to include a statement from the University. It was also updated to reflect the correct pronouns of a person quoted.

As usual, the ADL and SPLC are cited as "authorities" on proclaiming that good is evil and that black is white. Note also that they're trying to get the police to help them crack down on speech they don't like.

Pro-white supremacist flyers removed from Van Cortlandt Park in Woodlawn, Bronx
Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz said his office was notified of the flyers in the northeast section of the park on Thursday morning.

Bronx leaders strongly condemned three flyers found in Van Cortlandt Park that urged American and European men to “defend” the area from blacks and Muslims, shocking parkgoers who saw the postings early Thursday morning.

Under the heading “White Excellence,” the flyers called on white men to “defend your heritage” and stop blacks and the “spread of radical Islam” in the neighborhood, according to a photo of one of the flyers. The postings requested that people wear a white hat or shirt every Wednesday while eating or drinking on Katonah Avenue to “show you’re here.” They concluded by claiming there would be meetings and a demonstration on Nov. 14.

Posting of the flyers was first reported by borough-centric site Welcome2TheBronx.

Assemb. Jeffrey Dinowitz, who represents the area, said his office was notified that the flyers were spotted Thursday morning in the northeast section of the park in Woodlawn. They have been removed, he said.

In a joint statement Thursday afternoon, Dinowitz, along with Rep. Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.), Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and City Councilman Andrew Cohen, drew a direct link between President Trump’s rhetoric and such acts of hate.

“Corresponding with the rise in popularity of Donald Trump since 2015 and his apparent unwillingness to condemn supporters who espouse racist views, there has been a startling increase in amateur hate groups in and around New York City,” the emailed statement said.

The NYPD said detectives and the Hate Crimes Task Force are investigating the flyers. The department urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.

The postings come a day after NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill said reported hate crimes jumped by 4 percent over the past year. O’Neill said police have received reports of 159 anti-Semitic incidents.
It appears someone has come to the point where he/she has had enough of Black thugs and Muslims being allowed to invade the neighborhood by his Jewish and non-White politicians.

Baraboo schools, police investigating photo that appears to show students making Nazi salute
10:40 am
November 12, 2018

<Picture of boys on courthouse steps waving at their parents>
This photo, which appears to show students in Baraboo doing the Nazi salute, has been circulating on social media. In a statement, the Baraboo School District says it is investigating and condemns the action.
BARABOO (WKOW) — The Baraboo School District is investigating a photo that is circulating on social media of students allegedly doing the Nazi salute.

The photo of dozens of boys raising their right arm in what appears to be the Nazi salute was posted on Twitter over the weekend. Since then, backlash has followed from the community and across the country.

The photo was posted to @GoBaraboo, a protected Twitter account that bills itself as a Baraboo parody page.

It appears to have been taken on the steps of the Sauk County Courthouse before last spring’s prom.

In an email sent to families Monday morning, Superintendent Dr. Lori Mueller said that the photo was taken last spring of a group of Baraboo students “making extremely inappropriate gestures.”

The photo was not taken on school property or at a school-sponsored event, Mueller said.

The school district is investigating this situation and is working with parents, staff and local authorities.

“If the gesture is what it appears to be, the district will pursue any and all available and appropriate actions, including legal, to address the issue,” Mueller said.

“With that, we want to be very clear: the Baraboo School District is a hate-free environment where all people, regardless of race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin or ancestry, are respected and celebrated,” read the email to parents.

City administrator Ed Geick also released a statement Monday, saying the Baraboo Police Department is investigating.The school district posted on its social media pages Monday morning;

“The photo of students posted to #BarabooProud is not reflective of the educational values and beliefs of the School District of Baraboo. We are investigating and will pursue any and all available and appropriate actions, including legal, to address.”

Baraboo police are assisting the school district with it’s investigation, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.

The Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum in Poland responded to the tweet.

“We need to explain what is the danger of hateful ideology rising,” read the post.

One of the students in the photograph, Jordan Blue, confirmed that the photo was taken at the Sauk County Courthouse before prom.

In a message to a contributor to Vice.com, Blue, who was not showing the salute in the photo, said “I am clearly uncomfortable with what is happening. I couldn’t leave the photo as it was taken in 5 seconds.

The photo is from an online photo gallery from prom posted at Wheelphotos.com.

The photos have since been removed and replaced with a statement:

“Due to malevolent behavior on the part of some in society; this page has been modified. It is too bad that there are those in society who can and do take the time to be jerks; knowingly and willingly to be jerks! The internet can be a wonderful tool but for some there is an overwhelming urge to destroy. The destruction may not be physical but instead it can be bullying that is intellectual or emotional. To anyone that was hurt I sincerely apologize.

To those who have harmed them, we as society often ignore them I have chosen not to do that. YOU ARE JERKS! Grow up!”
The school district has nothing to do with this; the photo wasn't taken on school district property. No idea why the Baraboo cops would investigate, there's no crime here. My guess is that the boys are going to get some serious harassing......perhaps even their rights violated.

Dozens of KKK fliers found in Glen Burnie neighborhood

By Danielle Ohl Contact Reporter
November 10, 2018 3:35PM

Anne Arundel County police responded Saturday to reports of fliers promoting the Ku Klux Klan found strewn in a Glen Burnie neighborhood.

A dog-walker reported finding a flier near the intersection of Dorchester Road and Washington Avenue in Glen Burnie, and police responded around 11:50 a.m. The 30 to 40 fliers were inside bags of gravel, likely to weigh them down, and lying in people’s front yards, said police spokesman Lt. Ryan Frashure.

The county police Homeland Security and Intelligence Unit is not releasing photos of the fliers yet, but described them as KKK propaganda.

Though the contents of the flier are covered under the First Amendment’s freedom of speech protections, they are “highly offensive,” Frashure said, and the department is investigating their source. There are no suspects thus far.

The HSI detectives will look for surveillance video to determine the people responsible for the fliers. The incident is not being treated as a hate or bias incident, as the person who called police did not report it as such.

A neighborhood in South Baltimore encountered two similar incidents in October. Riverside residents twice woke up to find KKK propaganda distributed on the 1500 block of Belt Street.

Frashure said at this time “there's no indication or evidence” the Glen Burnie and Riverside incidents are related.

Anne Arundel County has experienced a rash of racist incidents, stemming back to 2017, when two men hung a noose at Crofton Middle School. One man, Conner Prout, pleaded guilty to a hate crime and, as part of a deal with the Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office, publicly apologized and conducted community service alongside local racial justice groups, including the NAACP.

The other man charged in the case pleaded not guilty to a hate crime. He was found not guilty based on a technicality in the county’s code, which did not cover hate crimes aimed at a group of people. A bill passed in April closed this loophole.

Black students at Chesapeake High School and Chesapeake Bay Middle School have endured racist incidents over the course of the last year.

A Chesapeake High student reported an anonymous message containing a photo of a Confederate flag and the words “You n***s will rue the day,” on Oct. 31. A day later, someone found a noose made of toilet paper hanging in a boys bathroom stall at Chesapeake Bay Middle.

Other incidents at the high school targeted black and Jewish students.

KKK activity in the county — and in the schools — is not unheard of. Students at Arundel High School in January 2017 circulated a petition to join the “Kool Kids Klan” and declare white supremacy over fellow black students. The petition garnered two signatures and contained racist words and stereotypes.

Reference to the KKK popped up on a school resource website in 2015.

In 1999, former Anne Arundel County Executive Janet Owens shut down an anti-litter program rather than allow a local branch of the KKK to sponsor a highway cleanup.

Since November 11, 2018, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office has received reports from people who have found fliers containing propaganda from the Ku Klux Klan.

The fliers, which appear to have been distributed in a random manner, were inside plastic bags and found along the roadway and in driveways in front of people’s homes. To date, fliers have been found in Waldorf and La Plata.

Similar fliers were also found in Calvert, St. Mary’s, and Anne Arundel counties as well as in Northern Virginia and Western Maryland.

Investigators assigned to the agency’s Homeland Security and Intelligence Unit are working with other law enforcement agencies who have experienced similar situations.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to call (301) 932-2222.
So free speech is now a Homeland Security issue??? What we have here, folks, is a modern day Stasi!!
