Revealed: Israel’s ex-spies shaping Israeli narratives in US media

"...Former Israeli spies are embedded in major US news outlets, influencing coverage to favor Tel Aviv's interests, according to a report.

In early October, Barak Ravid published an article in Axios titled "One Year After Oct. 7 Attacks, Netanyahu is on a Winning Streak", portraying Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu as riding on an unbeatable wave of triumphs, Mint Press News reported.

Ravid recently went viral for an article that claimed that Israeli attacks against Hezbollah are "not intended to lead to war but are an attempt to reach 'de-escalation through escalation'".

Ravid is an Israeli spy - or at least he was until recently. He is a former analyst with Israeli spying agency Unit 8200, and as recently as last year, he was still a reservist with the Israeli military.

Founded in 1952, Unit 8200 is Israel's largest and perhaps most controversial spying organization. It has been responsible for many high-profile espionage and terror operations, including the recent pager attack that injured thousands of Lebanese civilians.

Ravid is far from the only Israeli ex-spook working at top US media outlets to manufacture Western support for Tel Aviv.

He has quickly become one of the most influential individuals in the Capitol Hill press corps. In April, he won the White House Press Correspondents' Award 'for overall excellence in White House.'..."

Killing of Sinwar will only 'expand war'

Bishara cited a quote from Netanyahu's speech moments ago in which he spoke about eliminating the "axis of evil", meaning Iran and its partner groups, saying this was the prime minister’s clear signal that he means to escalate this conflict to a regional war.

He outlined what he called a likely scenario in which Israel will continue to ethnically cleanse the Gaza Strip, expand its operations in southern Lebanon, then move on to Syria, all while bombing Iran.

So, Bibi's new "axis of evil" are Israel's neighbors Iran, Syria and Lebanon.

Bush’s father, former president George H.W. Bush, had invaded Iraq in 1990 after repelling the Iraqi invasion of neighboring Kuwait, but left Saddam Hussein in power.

After 9/11, George W. Bush’s administration waited less than a month before invading Afghanistan and deposing the Taliban regime there. It was not long before Bush turned his attention to “regime change” in Iraq. Although there were no direct links between Iraq, Iran and North Korea—Iraq and Iran, in fact, were commonly understood to be geopolitical enemies—the concept of an “axis of evil” united in its desire to harm Americans proved useful to those making the case for a second invasion of Iraq...

'The demographic re-engineering of the Gaza Strip is in progress'

"...Tamer Qarmout, a professor of public policy at the Doha Institute, says the world has failed since the beginning of Israel’s war on Gaza to provide even basic protection for Palestinian civilians.

"Israel has a green light from a superpower, the US, which is Israel's partner in these war crimes", Qarmout told Al Jazeera. "We're beyond the 'self-defence' doctrine. The plan is emerging and it's more or less clear. This is a rearranging of the entire region that started in Gaza, and I don’t know where it will stop".

He highlighted Israel’s "General’s Plan" for northern Gaza, which calls for the expulsion of Palestinians from the area and the forced starvation and targeting of whoever stays behind.

One of Jewry's top spies "controlling the narrative" of U.S. media reporting in "Israeli" occupied Palestine couldn't have been much of a challenge for Barak Ravid, considering his kinsmen's stranglehold on mass media in the U.S.

Israel shares Lebanon ceasefire demands with US: Report

"...Israel has sent the White House a list of demands that it wants fulfilled before it will consider a ceasefire in Lebanon, the Axios news site reports.

Based on information from two Israeli and two US officials, Axios said the document was sent to the White House last week, in advance of US envoy Amos Hochstein’s scheduled visit to Lebanon today.

Two demands are revealed in the Axios report: Israel wants freedom for its air force to operate in Lebanon’s airspace and for the Israeli military to be allowed to carry out “active enforcement” in southern Lebanon against Hezbollah.

Both demands contravene a UN Security Council resolution, which empowers the Lebanese army and UN peacekeepers to enforce a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah..."

From Israeli Soldier to Biden Confidant

"... Amos Hochstein’s ascent from Israeli soldier to energy adviser to one of Biden’s most trusted advisers on the Middle East may appear to be despite his background - but some argue the rise is because of it.

Born in Israel in 1973, Hochstein served in the Israeli military as a young man, reportedly as a tank crewman. 

In a 2012 interview, Hochstein’s wife said, "My husband is Israeli…" Hochstein would have been serving in the State Department at the time as the deputy assistant secretary for energy diplomacy..."

Yemen warns US of facing far worse than 'hell of Vietnam' if Hudaydah invaded

"...Yemen warns the US that if it acts on a reported plan to invade the western Yemeni port of al-Hudaydah, it will face consequences that are far worse than the dire situation it faced during the Vietnam War, when tens of thousands of American troops were killed.

Jamal Ahmed Ali Amer, the foreign minister of Yemen's National Salvation Government, sounded the warning in a post on X on Monday.

He said the American administration had begun leaking information about the alleged plan that it seeks to execute as means of trying to force Yemen into stopping its pro-Palestinian operations against Israeli and Israeli-affiliated targets.

According to Amer, Washington started to reveal the information after it failed to realize its all-out efforts to harm the Arab Peninsula country.

Hezbollah launches attacks on Israeli military positions in solidarity with Palestine, Lebanon

"...Fighters from the Hezbollah resistance movement have carried out multiple attacks on Israeli military positions in the occupied territories, in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the Lebanese nation amid ongoing Israeli offensives across the coastal sliver and Lebanon.

Hezbollah announced in a brief statement that its fighters bombed two positions at the Nirit area in the suburbs of Tel Aviv with a salvo of guided missiles on Tuesday morning.
