What's a sundown town and where are they located in Illinois?

This article by Mr. Kravitz (No surprise there.) of the Star Journal sounds like a bit of a joke. I am not from Illinois, but I've been there a few times. While the good rabbi Kravetz lectures us on what a sundown town is I wonder if he is doing it with a straight face. I mean, he does know Chicago exists, right? And surely he knows Gary, Indiana is just minutes away, doesn't he? I wonder if this chosen fellow hangs his tiny little round hat in either of those places when he goes to bed at night?
Is any White person safe on the Southside of Chicago DURING THE DAY? Much less at night! Or Detroit, Baltimore, Inglewood, Brooklyn, etc.
If you check the cities he listed on Wikipedia under demographics, some of which is from the 2010 census and not current, every one of the cities has black residents. Granite city, Illinois is 6.5 percent black!
Could it be that little Andy Kravetz is lying to us? And if so, White Man, why would this nice jewish boy do such a thing?
