Turkish Jets shoot down Russian bomber plane

On November 25th, 2015 a Russian fighter Jet was shot down by Turkish F-16 fighters supposedly because Turkey claims the Russian plane violated Turkish air space. The Russian Jet may have entered Turkish air space along the Syrian border for a very brief amount of time, while the Russian Jet was on a mission to strike ISIS/ISIL targets in Syria close to the Turkish border. The wreckage of the Russian Jet landed in Syria. Russian Vladamir Putin called the attack by Turkey a "stab in the back" and the Russians are claiming that Turkey violated Syrian airspace to strike down the Russian bomber. A Russian Helicopter deployed to rescue the Russian pilots whom ejected from the plan that was hit and later destroyed by Turkish air to air missiles. One of the Russian pilots was killed by gunfire as he parachuted from his plane, the fate of the other pilot is unknown. The downing of the Russian Jet has eliminated any plans of a US led international coalition to fight the Islamic State, ISIS, which would include Russia, the nation whom the US has been been conducting a hostile campaign against over the last several months because of the Ukraine/Russian conflict.
The Russian bomber that was shot down was targeting ISIS militants in Syria which included some ethnic Turks who support the Islamic state. Unlike France and the United States, Russia backs Syrian president Bashir al-Assad, so while ISIS is a common enemy to both the Western coalition and Russia, France and the U.S. has not elevated the threat of ISIS over their desire to remove president Al-Assad from power. Some of the weapons which ISIS is using, and has used to attack the Russian plane last Wednesday was provided by the United States to be used for toppling the Al-Assad, Syrian government, which the U.S. claims has killed 300,000 of its own people to the present date.
Turkey is a member of NATO and allied with France and the United States, but at the same time it is supporting ISIS militants, and allowing Syrian refugees to pass through Turkey in order to enter Europe. It is alleged that Turkey has even assisted ISIS in creating fake Syrian passports, much like the one found near one of the ISIS terrorists during the Paris terror attacks two weeks ago.
Unsurprisingly, the U.S. and France are siding with Turkey in it's act of war against Russia and are putting further meddling in the governments of Middle Eastern Nations above the goal of destroying the Islamic state (ISIS) terrorists whom attacked Paris recently and whom vow to attack the United States as well in the future.
I read about the downing of the Russian plane in the November 25th, 2015 edition of the Wall Street Journal, but this video which I posted above from Yoututbe is a much briefer overview of the events last Wednesday and even captured the crash of the Russian plane after it was hit by a Turkish air-to-air missile. If you wish to read about it you can easily find an article online by typing "Turkish attack on Russian Plane" in the Google search box.
