A Viable Alternative For Southern Christians

Post by Wade Hampton III » Mon Jun 08, 2015 5:14 pm

When the American Confederacy lost the Civil War
in May 1865, 10,000 Southerners fled the US for a
small city in Brazil, where they could rebuild their
lives and carry on their traditions. Now, 150 years
later, their story has been seemingly erased from the
history books. But deep in the heart of Brazil,
descendants of these confederate expats gather
annually to celebrate their controversial history
and maintain their traditions and culture.

The Brazilian government sat up informational agencies
across the Bible Belt and offered to pay relocation
costs for all Americans willing to make the move. In
their little community of Americana, the children spoke
English with a Southern accent for generations. They
(miscegenated) married into the local population.
Subsequently, the descendants of the settlers are
taking on a distinctly darker hue. Do the math.
(one White + one non-White = mongrel). However,
there is a Christian church nearby to put these
concerns at ease.

I strongly suspect it would be far easier for Southern
Christians to simply move there, rather than stay here
and try to wind the clock back 150 years. Either that,
or remain here and face the reality of race.
