Notice how they say "unrest" and "protesters".Your city is next. What are you going to do?
Chaos and violence erupted on the streets of Baltimore late Monday as protesters clashed with police, several of whom were injured.
Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan declared a state of emergency and activated the National Guard. The mayor of Baltimore said every possible resource was being deployed to "gain control of this situation."
Baltimore Orioles COO John Angelos chimes in - cites economic conditions that affect normal, hard-working Whites - and then incorrectly implies that simian behavior would improve in a better economic environment.
"Brett, speaking only for myself, I agree with your point that the principle of peaceful, non-violent protest and the observance of the rule of law is of utmost importance in any society. MLK, Gandhi, Mandela and all great opposition leaders throughout history have always preached this precept. Further, it is critical that in any democracy, investigation must be completed and due process must be honored before any government or police members are judged responsible.
That said, my greater source of personal concern, outrage and sympathy beyond this particular case is focused neither upon one night’s property damage nor upon the acts, but is focused rather upon the past four-decade period during which an American political elite have shipped middle class and working class jobs away from Baltimore and cities and towns around the U.S. to third-world dictatorships like China and others, plunged tens of millions of good, hard-working Americans into economic devastation, and then followed that action around the nation by diminishing every American’s civil rights protections in order to control an unfairly impoverished population living under an ever-declining standard of living and suffering at the butt end of an ever-more militarized and aggressive surveillance state.
The innocent working families of all backgrounds whose lives and dreams have been cut short by excessive violence, surveillance, and other abuses of the Bill of Rights by government pay the true price, and ultimate price, and one that far exceeds the importances of any kids’ game played tonight, or ever, at Camden Yards. We need to keep in mind people are suffering and dying around the U.S., and while we are thankful no one was injured at Camden Yards, there is a far bigger picture for poor Americans in Baltimore and everywhere who don’t have jobs and are losing economic civil and legal rights, and this makes inconvenience at a ballgame irrelevant in light of the needless suffering government is inflicting upon ordinary Americans."
Baltimore worships a murderer and a woman beater.Your city may not be that bad but it's coming. These beasts riot when their sports team WINS but everyone just ignores reality.
Your tax dollars will rebuild that slum and it will keep happening until the humans fight back.
I wish this would happen in my town.I wouldn't cower in fear,I would be the big story that day.
From the article linked above: “These birds don’t have an evolutionary history of dealing with cowbirds,” said Robinson.
“They haven’t learned to recognize that a cowbird egg is not their egg and that cowbird
young are not their young.”
Most migrant songbirds, he said, “imprint on the young and take care of whatever is in the nest,”
even if it is a cowbird chick.
Some resident birds, however, won’t tolerate the freeloading cowbirds.
“The Baltimore Oriole will puncture a cowbird egg and throw it out,” he said.
Robins also reject the cowbird egg. Both robins and orioles are thriving.
Robinson said that the study shows that the problem could be corrected
by establishing a network of forests no smaller than 20,000 acres.
This is the minimum size, he said, to give the migrant songbirds a
haven from the cowbirds.
Also, birds of a feather, naturally, both should and do flock together!
We Whites do need a haven of our own far away from our own
"cowbirds" as well. Vote with your own feet and then bond all
together and with only your own kind!
It's funny how everyone in Baltimore has a camera they can't stop using but no one owns a gun that could have helped stopped these savage beasts.
This is America.
We are doomed.
"We gave those who wished to destroy, space to do that, as well"
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake attempted to draw a distinction between protesting and engaging in criminal activity when telling reporters she condemns the violence but remains committed to protecting the right to protest.
“It's a very delicate balancing act because while we tried to make sure they were protected from the cars and the other things that were going on, we gave those who wished to destroy space to do that, as well,” she said in the wake of Saturday's protests in Baltimore.
However on Monday night, as rioters engaged in outbreaks of violence, Rawlings-Blake gave this statement. “I'm going to protect people's right to protest,” she said. “The fact that people exploited that does not mean that I do not have an obligation to protect people's right to protest. I never said, nor would I ever say, that we are giving people space to destroy our city. So my words should not be twisted.” http://www.myfoxdc.com/story/28916925/b ... rn-violent
