Trump-Tied Group Sues Biden Admin Over Racial Discrimination In Farm Subsidy Program

TUESDAY, APR 27, 2021 - 08:00 PM
Authored by Ivan Pentchoukov via The Epoch Times,

A newly-formed legal group tied to former President Donald Trump on April 26 sued the Biden administration, seeking to block the implementation of a farm subsidy program that overtly excludes white farmers.

America First Legal, headed by former senior Trump advisor {and Jew} Stephen Miller, filed the lawsuit on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division, against Tom Vilsack, Biden’s secretary of agriculture.

Vaccinated can go maskless outside, except in crowds

The lawsuit argues that the program, enacted as part of Biden’s pandemic stimulus package, discriminates against white farmers by limiting financial aid to “socially disadvantaged” farmers or ranchers based on their race.

“The Department of Agriculture lurches America dangerously backward, reversing the clock on American progress, and violating our most sacred and revered principles by actively and invidiously discriminating against American citizens solely based upon their race. This is illegal, it is unconstitutional, it is wrong, and it must stop,” the lawsuit (pdf) states.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) website currently defines a “socially disadvantaged farmer or rancher” as belonging to “groups [that] include, but are not limited to African Americans, American Indians, Alaskan Natives, Asians, Hispanics, Pacific Islanders, refugees, immigrants.”

The America First Legal lawsuit cites a different definition of “socially disadvantaged” that appears on a fact sheet (pdf) by the USDA. That fact sheet limits the definition of “socially disadvantaged” to six races and leaves out whites.

The relevant section of the pandemic stimulus bill points neither to the fact sheet nor to the USDA website. The act says that the definition of the term is in the Food, Agriculture, Conservation, and Trade Act of 1990. That act says that “the term ‘socially disadvantaged farmer or ranchers’ means a farmer or rancher who is a member of a socially disadvantaged group.” The act further defines a “socially disadvantaged group” as “a group whose members have been subjected to racial or ethnic prejudice because of their identity as members of a group without regard to their individual qualities.”

The legal action is the first brought by America First Legal, a pro-Trump legal outfit modeled on the legal warfare model that the Democrats deployed to thwart Trump’s agenda. The organization says that its mission is to “oppose the radical left’s anti-jobs, anti-freedom, anti-faith, anti-borders, anti-police, and anti-American crusade.”

The White House and the Department of Agriculture did not immediately return requests for comment.

Texas School District Shames White Students As Part Of ‘Cultural Competence,’ Parents Enraged

An incident involving white students singing along to racial slurs in rap lyrics led Texas’ most successful school district to adopt a radical approach to combating racism.

The Carroll Independent School District of Southlake, a Dallas suburb, is the “top-achieving school district in Texas,” according to The Federalist’s Joy Pullmann.

“It has no racial achievement gaps, which is nearly unheard of. That’s because Southlake attracts high-achieving families of all races,” Pullmann wrote. “The local median income is more than four times the national average and poverty there is statistically nonexistent. According to district data, ‘microaggressions,’ bullying, and racially charged incidents happen approximately three times per month in the district of 8,500 students, meaning they involve 0.3 percent of students a year.”

But because of videos showing students singling along to rap lyrics and the media attention they received, the district overreached and instituted programs meant to combat “institutional racism” but that in reality shame white students for the color of their skin.

The district adopted a “cultural competence” plan, Pullmann reported, after the videos went viral and “sometimes-crying taxpayers, parents, and students spent hours insisting their lives have been forever damaged by the kind of ‘institutional racism’ in Southlake illustrated by the rap sing-alongs.”

The complaints centered around teasing and graffiti, with those complaining demanding the school district treat the minor annoyances as if they were full-blown crimes. The rush to assume guilt was perpetuated by public figures, Pullman reported:

Retired Dallas Cowboys player Russell Maryland and Robin Cornish, the widow of another Cowboy, who both have kids in the district, used national media appearances to pressure the town to enact a “Cultural Competence Action Plan,” or CCAP. A long-form article from NBC News in January that quotes Cornish accuses the town of harboring racists. Cornish also told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in February 2019 the school district was “sweeping this under the carpet, and they are complicit. Unfortunately, this is the way our country is right now. Southlake is a microcosm of that. We have someone running the country right now who says it’s OK to be racist.” “The idea that America is fundamentally flawed because some people have a [racist] problem in their minds, that’s a recipe to keep you in poverty and unhappiness for the rest of your life,” said Juan Saldivar, a father of a Southlake student, to explain his opposition to restructuring Southlake schools around “systemic racism.” “My parents always told me it doesn’t matter whether people like you, it matters whether the law protects you, and it does.”

Parents haven’t been happy about the school’s training, with local parents organizing into a group to oppose CCAP. As Pullman reported, the CCAP teaches that anyone who dares to see everyone equally regardless of race is instigating “cultural blindness,” which is bad, in their view.

“White privilege is being able to navigate daily life in the American culture without having to think about race,” said a slide shown at a 2019 retreat to Carroll administrators. Another slide asked administrators “What does it mean for you to be white?” and urged them to “Take a moment to talk with your neighbor about ‘Whiteness.’” They were also asked to “Name some characteristics of white culture.”

During these discussions, Pullman reported, “administrators were also told that being white is a bad thing.”

“It includes ‘white fragility,’ ‘a state in which even a minimal amount of racial stress becomes intolerable, triggering a range of defensive moves (anger, fear, guilt.. silence),’ Pullman reported. “Ironically, the presentation also warns against ‘stereotyping,’ which it says ‘happens when you generalize about a person while ignoring the presence of individual differences.’”

One parent, Juan Saldivar, told Pullman that he didn’t want his kids taught this because it was “poison.”

“I did everything I could to get my child into [Carroll] and it’s No. 1 in Texas, and I say I do not want my child growing up with this stuff being injected into her brain because it’s poison,” he said in an interview. “It’s the seeds of destruction that ruin one’s ability to grow up happy and be a leader in society.”

Texas Official Sues Biden Administration, Alleges 'Discrimination' Against Whites

The Texas agricultural commissioner is suing the Biden administration, claiming the way some provisions in the American Rescue Plan that provide aid to farmers and ranchers are being interpreted leaves out many white ethnic groups who qualify as “socially disadvantaged,” and thus discriminates against them.

The suit by Sid Miller, himself a rancher, comes in his capacity as a private citizen, not a public official, according to his complaint.

The crux of Miller’s class-action suit, filed Monday, is that the Biden administration has narrowly and vaguely interpreted the concept of who is considered “socially disadvantaged” and therefore eligible for financial assistance under certain provisions of the bill. Because of this very narrow definition, the lawsuit said, ethnic groups that have suffered prejudice and discrimination are left behind.

“Equal rights under law is the cornerstone of American constitutional jurisprudence: the principle that all citizens, regardless of status, wealth, race, color, religion, or creed, have the same rights and are entitled to the same standard of justice,” the lawsuit said.

“As a nation, we are devoted to the task of satisfying these sacred ideals and providing equal rights to citizens of all races, as the Constitution requires. Profound progress has been made, and extraordinary milestones reached, throughout our history, serving as an inspiration to humanity and the nations of the world.”

The suit says the Biden administration wants to make some Americans more equal than others

“Yet, today, the Department of Agriculture lurches America dangerously backward, reversing the clock on American progress, and violating our most sacred and revered principles by actively and invidiously discriminating against American citizens solely based upon their race,” the suit said. “This is illegal, it is unconstitutional, it is wrong, and it must stop.”

It added that the Department of Agriculture’s interpretation of the phrase “socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers” is limited to “African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, Alaskan natives, Asian-Americans, and Pacific Islanders.” White farmers and ranchers are not included, according to the suit.

“These racial exclusions are patently unconstitutional, and the Court should permanently enjoin their enforcement,” the lawsuit argued,

The suit said a simple glance at American history can prove that people have faced prejudice based on their ethnicity.

“Indeed, throughout American history, many white ethnic groups have been subject to ‘racial or ethnic prejudice because of their identity as members of a group without regard to their individual qualities,’ including Irish, Italians, Germans, Jews, and eastern Europeans,” it said. “Members of these ethnic groups unambiguously qualify as members of a ‘socially disadvantaged group,’ and as “socially disadvantaged farmers or ranchers.”

The lawsuit trolled Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, who found after a much-ballyhooed claim of Native American ancestry that she had but a drop of Native American blood in her veins.

Miller’s suit noted that he, as well, might be construed to be eligible.

“Plaintiff Sid Miller is a farmer and rancher. His ancestry is overwhelmingly white, and primarily Scotch-Irish. As is the case with many Americans, his ancestry is not limited to just one racial or ethnic group. Mr. Miller also has approximately 2% African-American ancestry,” the lawsuit said.

“An interpretation of the underlying statutes that excludes plaintiffs like Miller because he is not ‘black enough’ would raise grave constitutional concerns,” the lawsuit says.

The lawsuit is filed through America First Legal — a group founded by Stephen Miller, an adviser to former President Donald Trump.

“America First Legal opposes discrimination in all forms,” Miller said in a statement, according to The Dallas Morning News.

Biden Calls White Supremacy the ‘Most Lethal Terrorist Threat To the Homeland’

President Joe Biden is warning white supremacy is the “most lethal terrorist threat” to the United States.

“Make no mistake, in 20 years, terrorism has metastasized. The threat has evolved way beyond Afghanistan. … We have to remain vigilant against threats to the United States, wherever they come from,” Biden said during his first address to Congress on Wednesday night.

He continued, “Al-Qaeda and ISIS are in Yemen, Syria, Somalia, and other places in Africa and the Middle East and beyond. And, we won’t ignore what our own intelligence agencies have determined to be the most lethal terrorist threat to the homeland today: White supremacy is terrorism.”

This is not the first time Biden has suggested white supremacy is terrorism. During his inaugural address in January, Biden said, “A cry for racial justice some 400 years in the making moves us. A cry that can’t be any more desperate or any more clear. And now a rise of political extremism, white supremacy, domestic terrorism that we must confront and we will defeat.”

Biden also addressed the January 6 Capitol insurrection during his Wednesday night speech, calling it “the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.”

University Professor on ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ Panel Announces She Keeps Away From White People

At Iowa State, a professor’s stated her preference.

We’re living in a strange time. America’s seemingly swimming toward Segregation V2.

It’s a modernized rendition, to be sure, but a curious point remains the same: Society looks to be resurrecting an idea it only decades ago concluded should be interred.

Unity, generally, is considered virtuous.

Yet, so far as I can tell, the Powers That Be are increasingly interested in emphasizing our differences.

Amid the new morality: “whiteness.”

We’re being told it’s something to be stamped out.

That may very well be correct if the term represents dastardly deeds.

But what’s the impact of attaching it wholly and exclusively to a race?

If I had to guess, I’d say not unity.

Either way, in a presumed effort to find the best life, an Iowa State University professor has allegedly announced her approach: Keep a distance from white people.

As relayed by Campus Reform, Professor Rita Mookerjee was invited to speak on a March 10th Student Government “Diversity and Inclusion” panel.

Around that time, purportedly, she issued the following tweet:

“Lately, I try to limit my interactions with yt people as much as possible. I can’t with the self-importance and performance, esp during Black History Month.”

Last October, she supposedly posted, “t is foolish to dismiss student critique. Always listen but, learn to accept that whyte men with dirty hair and wrinkled clothes will always be more liked and higher ranked.”

Additionally:

“Someone called me white the other day, so #NewProfilePic because I think the f– not.”

As for whiteness, it’s found a way into the news quite a lot.

For instance, last year, North Carolina’s Wake County Public School System hosted a symposium.

According to City Journal, the event schooled teachers on incorporating Critical Race Theory:

[During] “Whiteness in Ed Spaces,” school administrators provided two handouts on the “norms of whiteness.” These documents claimed that “(white) cultural values” include “denial,” “fear,” “blame,” “control,” “punishment,” “scarcity,” and “one-dimensional thinking.” According to notes from the session, the teachers argued that “whiteness perpetuates the system” of injustice and that the district’s “whitewashed curriculum” was “doing real harm to our students and educators.” The group encouraged white teachers to “challenge the dominant ideology” of whiteness and “disrupt” white culture in the classroom through a series of “transformational interventions.”

A teacher reportedly inquired, “How do you deal with parent pushback?”

Per the outlet, the reply:

“You can’t let parents deter you from the work. … White parents’ children are benefiting from the system” of whiteness, it was purportedly said. They’re “not learning at home about diversity.”

Moreover, whiteness is getting complicated.

As I covered in February, the principal of New York City’s East Side Community School sent an email to parents listing eight options.

From the graphic:

“There is a regime of whiteness, and there are action-oriented white identities. People who identify with whiteness are one of these. It’s about time we build an ethnography of whiteness since white people have been the ones writing about and governing others.”

Take your pick:

White Supremacist
White Voyeurism
White Privilege
White Benefit
White Confessional
White Critical
White Traitor
White Abolitionist

Given the list, perhaps it’s reasonable that Professor Rita would keep away.

As for her touted tweets, Iowa State’s student government told Young Americans for Freedom her posts don’t “reflect the views of the student government.”

What are the views of the university’s government?

If the answer is “views of unity,” I’d say — at this point — they’re really blazing a trail.

Lawsuit Alleges Racism in Biden Administration’s COVID Relief for Restaurants and Bars

Image

The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty has filed suit in federal court on behalf of a Tennessee bar and grill owner from Harriman alleging discrimination against white people in pandemic aid.

Antonio Vitolo, the owner of Jake’s Bar and Grill, is suing Small Business Administration administrator Isabella Casillas. Guzman says the SBA is giving preference to restaurants and bars owned by women and minorities for COVID relief funds.

The Biden administration has just authorized a $28.6 billion bailout of the restaurant industry, with aid going exclusively to “priority groups” — businesses run by women, veterans, or “socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.” Vitolo claims that when he applied for aid on May 3 he was told he didn’t qualify because he was white.

New York Post:

It claims the distinctions are unconstitutional and calls on the administration to halt the payments until an equitable system is in place for distributing them, like first-come, first-served.

“Given the limited pot of funds, this puts white male applicants at significant risk that, by the time their applications are processed, the money will be gone,” the lawsuit says.

The Biden administration is well within the law to “favor” minorities in the disbursement of relief funds. But denying someone aid based solely on their race is unconstitutional.

Vitolo’s Hispanic wife owns half the business, but she, too, is ineligible for aid. To qualify, she would have to own 51 percent of the business.

“I do not want special treatment. I just want to be treated equally under the law. I am opposed to race and sex discrimination, and I would hope my government lived up to the same principle,” Vitolo said in a press release.

Fox 17:

The program relies on a definition of “socially disadvantaged” that is limited to people “subjected to racial or ethnic prejudice or cultural bias because of their identity as a member of a group without regard to their individual qualities.” Groups presumed to be socially disadvantaged include: Black Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, including Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians; Asian Pacific Americans; and Subcontinent Asian Americans.

The Small Business Administration has been using “minority set-asides” to fund new start-ups from women and blacks for decades. These are dedicated funds “set aside” exclusively for those groups.

But the COVID relief funds are supposed to be for all races. The Biden administration has put women and minorities at the front of the line. Their applications will be considered before any applications from white business owners. In a word, it’s unfair and the Biden administration should be held to account for it.

Student Senator at American University Dubs White Students an 'Invasive Species' On Campus

Brittany M. Hughes , @RealBrittHughes
February. 24. 2021

A student government member at American University declared white students are an “invasive species” that reflect “settler colonialism” whenever they come back to their D.C. campus and “displace” the city’s otherwise heavily black population.

And not only was freshman Kayla Kelly, an AU student government senator, permitted to openly spew this vile, racism garbage, she was allowed to publish it in an op-ed in the school’s student newspaper.

“The large influx of predominantly affluent white students into D.C.’s ‘chocolate city,’ a term that refers to its large population of Black citizens, could evoke similar effects of settler colonialism and negatively impact the community,” freshman Kayla Kelly wrote in The Eagle, referring to white students coming back to campus as the school opens back up for in-person learning after nearly a year of going virtual due to the COVID pandemic. So far, the school has invited roughly 1,250 students back to campus.

And according to Kelly, that includes the “invasive species” also known as white people.

Related: Coca-Cola Defends Telling Employees to 'Be Less White,' Says the Program 'Builds an Inclusive Workplace'

“Settler colonialism is a form of colonialism that replaces the original population with a new invasive species. The settler system takes over the space, resources and culture of the environment it encompasses, displacing the original population,” she said.

Kelly complains white students will begin patronizing area stores and malls, essentially taking resources from the city’s black residents who live there year-round, and that white students will bring new COVID cases and further spread the disease among the local population.

"The coronavirus pandemic is just as much an issue of racial justice as it is of public health,..

Sure it is, Miss Kayla. Sure.

Govt COVID “Expert” Is Actually A “Racial
Equality” Activist, Not A Medical Doctor.

By Catherine Salgado

A doctor from the UK’s Independent Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) actually specializes in “racial equality” and has no relevant medical qualifications. She is now criticizing the British government’s steps to remove the nation’s lockdown measures.

Dr. Zubaida Haque – a founding member of the Independent SAGE – has worked on “government-commissioned reports on welfare issues” and focuses on “racial equality,” according to the Telegraph.
Image
Anti-White "doctor" and expert in racism, Zubaida Hack
Speaking during an interview for the Good Morning Britain television show, Dr. Haque indicated that she thinks the UK government is moving too fast out of COVID-19 lockdown.

“We didn’t pass test four — test four of the government’s roadmap said that if we think that there’s any further risk from new variants of concern, we should stall — they completely ignored that and have gone ahead,” Haque stated.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 “pandemic” and associated lockdowns, Haque has offered advice in numerous television interviews and newspaper columns on such subjects as vaccine passports, “financial support for low-paid workers needing to self-isolate,” and school reopening. She has “no medical, clinical, virological or epidemiological qualifications.”

The title of Haque’s PhD thesis was “Exploring the validity and possible causes of the apparently poor performances of Bangladeshi students in British secondary schools.”

She is currently employed by the Hamilton Commission, “an organisation set up by Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton to improve the representation of black people in UK motorsport.”

Other members of Independent SAGE also publicly critiqued the UK’s “latest step towards freedom.”

Sir David King, Independent Sage’s chairman, stated: “When we set up Independent Sage we wanted to ensure that it was truly multi-disciplinary and fit for purpose when it comes to giving the best possible evidence based advice in relation to the pandemic. We are proud to have such a wealth of experience to call upon as required.

“Dr. Haque’s experience on inequality speaks for itself, her consistent championing of deprived communities across the country who are so disproportionately affected by this disease has shone through in the many reports we have produced.

“Dr. Haque and the whole group give up an extraordinary amount of time, free of charge, to contribute to Independent Sage simply because they believe it is the right thing to do. I remain immensely grateful for the inputs of all members.”

More of the downside of diversity in America for Jews. Non-whites are not bashful about critiquing Jews.
