I completely concur: Japan and South Korea (and to some extent, Taiwan as it exists as "separate and distinct" from mainland China/PRC) are now, and have been for some time (remember the "Trilateral Commission"?), in the sights of the "internationalists"; the New World Order - Desired Narrative types.


I know more about Japan than the other northeast Asian countries mentioned, but they are all recognized as economically influential and therefore ... "in need of" ... having the Desired Narrative implanted into their cultures just as it has been implanted into the Western European socialist-democratic countries and in the North American socialist-democratic countries (the U.S. being, thanks to Obama, more "socialist" than Canada at the moment).


Thankfully, due to the soft barrier of language via Chinese characters and/or Non-Western syllabic script, the West's "Progressive Desired Narrative" is not easily translated and stuffed into the brains of the larger populace, and so remains bubbling in the heads of their "elites" (left-wing university professors who consider themselves "internationalists", etc).


But it is troubling that the state broadcaster(s), NHK for one, is taking up and pushing the Progressive View of (for example) Love The Immigrant Who Is Such A Valuable Addition To And Enriches Our Society (sound familiar? Every Illegal Mexi-Duran is a ... Valuable Addition to U.S. society?).


China will be the next big push, as it becomes more and more economically influential. Even though it's the # 1 economy in terms of size (fudged and made-up U.S. economic statistics notwithstanding), its economic power is spread over 1 Billion people rather than over 330 Million or so for the U.S., and so it still has some catching up to do in terms of "projecting" its economic power world-wide. But as China internationalizes, the ... New World Order, the Soros types ... will want China to submit to the Desired Narrative. Let's see if the CCP can resist, as Putin is trying to do.
