Gunman executes 2 NYPD cops as 'revenge' for Garner

A black man, smaaiyl Brinsley, killed 2 NYPD officers (Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos) execution style as they sat in their police car today in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. They were shot in the head at point blank range. The suspect turned the gun on himself and committed suicide at a nearby subway platform as police were moving in. He posted on his social media: “They Take 1 Of Ours…Let’s Take 2 of Theirs,” the post continued, signing off with, “This May Be My Final Post.”, and “I’m Putting Wings on Pigs Today,” on his Instagram account before the shooting. The killer was a fugitive who killed his girlfriend this morning in Baltimore. Mayor De Blasio was a less than welcomed guest at the gathering for the cops and said "We're all in this together", to which a cop said "No, we're not".
