I heard that the U.S. sent US troops to the Ukraine for "training exercises" last weekend on Jeff Rense's radio show. So I just looked it up and there are several links to news stories from last September which say that around 200 US troops were sent to the Ukraine for "peace keeping" exercises. Amid the devastation of yesterday's Mariupol artillery strikes
which killed or wounded dozens, an 'odd' clip has emerged that
appears to provide all the 'proof' a US intelligence officer
would need to surmise that US military boots are on the ground
in Ukraine. As the following clip shows, a Ukrainian journalist
approaches what she thinks is a Ukrainian soldier (since he is
wearing a Ukrainian military uniform and is carrying an AK)
and asked him as they run through the battle-zone, "tell me,
what happened here?" His response, which requires no translation,
speaks for itself. "Out Of My Face Please" - Why Are US Soldiers
in Mariupol? ... -on-Russia

What pisses me off is the fact that the Jew spew media continues
to try to vilify Russia for what seems to be all that ails the world
today. Yes, the US Government has indeed launched "Cold War II"
against the Russian Federation and has been busy building up arms
in the NATO nations of Europe for what could indeed turn into a
hot war against both the Russian Federation and even Russia's ally,
China.... But the reasons for the vilification of Russia have all been
proven to be lies and falsehoods.... The US is indeed searching for
a war, any war, because the entire US economy will very soon
collapse.... How quickly people forget that throughout history,
economic depressions and panics were solved by nations going to
war to bolster a nation's faltering economy...Therefore the lunatics
running the US Government asylum figure that war with Russia will
get them out of the mess that they have created.... The problem
today is that the US no longer has the manufacturing capabilities
that it enjoyed during World War II nor the troop strength or weapons
necessary to fight a successful war against both Russia and China.....
If there is a war against the combined might of Russia and China, the
US and NATO will indeed come out as losers which could lead to the
lunatics running the US Government asylum turning to the 'nuclear
option'.... I honestly do not want to see billions of people dying in a
nuclear Armageddon....

Bump that! It is very good news for the Russian people.

I'd posted the following in new WB member Osage's introduction thread, but it belongs more here.

Glad to see you here, Orage.

Marine likes Mr. Putin. He recently arranged an $11 million to FN:

Europe's Far Right And Putin Get Cozy, With Benefits For Both
Marine Le Pen, head of the National Front, has made no secret of her admiration for Putin and has traveled to Moscow on several occasions. It seems to have paid off. Last month a Russian bank lent the National Front $11 million.

Le Pen has defended the loan, saying French banks had refused to help her party. That may be so, says Sylvain Crepon, who studies the French far right. But Crepon doesn't believe a loan from a bank with ties to Putin came about by chance.

"Putin is a kind of model for Marine Le Pen," says Crepon. "For her, he has a natural authority. And he's not afraid to stand up to the United States. And this is something very important for Le Pen and her party."...
--- ... s-for-both

Interesting. I'm curious to know which group in the U.S. Vlad will come to support with that kind of funding. Our Alliance will not be compromising on our fundamental principles for his favor, however.

The question remains: why did President Putin sign into law that "Holocaust denial" is illegal. Kevin Stom and I were recently discussing this and of our disappointment with Mr. Putin over this negative development. I pointed out to Kevin that Vlad is a politician, after all, and that politicians tend to try to please all of their constituencies (except for White majorities, that is).

Mike King and [converso] Nathanael Kapner raised Putin's inconsistent positions regarding Jews well, here:

Some of our readers have written to us, expressing confusion, surprise and dismay over Russia's recent decision to ban certain revisionist views of World War II and the HolyHoax. For the past 20 years, alternative scholars and researchers such as David Duke have been able to speak and write freely in the new Russia. This recent law appears to contradict the trend towards academic freedom, as well as freedom from Big Jewry, that had been established in Russia.

After all, it was Putin who made the "anti-Semite" Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's Gulag Archipelago mandatory reading in Russian High Schools. And it was Putin who hounded the Jewish Oligarchs into prison or out of Russia. And it was Putin who publicly said that the Bolsheviks were mainly Jewish. And it was Putin who blocked, and continues to block, the planned Jewish Holy Wars against Syria and Iran.

What is going on here? Does this mean that Putin has suddenly sold out to the Jews, ala Rand Paul, as some have suggested? Should we be concerned?

Russia Unloads 20% Of Its Total U.S. Holdings In One Month

Published by Michael Olanich, on February 24th, 2015 ... one-month/

Russian President Vladimir Putin is not overly worried about
Barack Obama's economic sanctions against his nation

EARLIER THIS week John Williams warned that hyperinflation will begin to appear in America sometime in 2015. He noted that, though the dollar is currently strong compared to other fiat money, signs that a currency collapse is coming will begin with the sell-off of the U.S. dollar.

It’s a known fact that the Russians and Chinese have already begun divesting themselves of dollar dependency by implementing trade agreements that completely sidestep the world’s reserve currency, but there has been no overt sign of a sell-off that might be indicative of a coming attack on our currency. (ILLUSTRATION: Russian President Vladimir Putin)

Until now, that is.

According to a report from Zero Hedge the Russians have already started unloading their dollar reserves. In the month of December alone they sold a record $22 billion in U.S. Treasuries. While this may not seem like a big number, it is over 20% of their total US dollar holdings.

But here’s the kicker: They’re not the only ones getting rid of their dollars in what appears to be a fairly uncommon sell-off over the course of the last 60 days.

Back in December, Socgen spread a rumor that Russia has begun selling its gold. Subsequent IMF data showed that not only was this not correct, Russia in fact added to its gold holdings. But there was one thing it was selling: some $22 billion in US Treasuries, a record 20% of its total holdings, bringing its US paper inventory to just $86 billion in December – the lowest since June 2008…

It wasn't just Russia: the country that has ever more frequently been said to be in the same camp as Russia – and against the US – namely China, also sold another $6 billion in Treasuries in the last month of 2014, which would have made its US treasury holdings equal with those of Japan, if only Tokyo hadn't also sold over $10 billion in the same month…

And while we know that Russia used at least some of the proceeds to buy gold, the bigger question is: just what is China buying with all these stealthy USD-denominated liquidations, and how much gold does the PBOC really have as of this moment.

Is Russia, after being under economic attack for the better part of a year, now starting to make its own moves? And are they working in unison with the Chinese in an effort to debase the dollar?

World affairs analyst Joel Skousen recently made a compelling case against an imminent economic collapse, while others argue that the end is nigh for the U.S. economic, financial and monetary systems.

Whatever the case, remain vigilant and prepare for the worst, because the hammer is going to drop sooner or later.

Dumping only 20% of U.S. holdings seems like a very modest response considering the Economic warfare the U.S. has been waging against Russia for over a year now.

“Nearly all the leaders of the liberal opposition [in Russia] are either fully Jewish or have Jewish background”
Kevin MacDonald
March 3, 2015

It’s obvious that there is a strong Jewish influence in the West opposed to Russia, particularly noticeable among the Israel Lobby and the neocons — Victoria Nuland‘s family ties and her role in the Ukrainian revolution come to mind.

Victoria Nuland, Jewish Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs, beats war drums for U.S. to fight Russia

There are many reasons for this, certainly including Russia’s alliance with Iran and Syria at a time when Israel and the Israel Lobby are doing all they can to promote war with both. Quite simply, Jewish hostility stems from the fact that Russia under Vladimir Putin has proved to be far more nationalistic than is good for the Jews or for Israel.

An article in The Jerusalem Post, excerpted below, notes the very prominent role of Jews within Russia in opposing Putin — Putin refers to the opposition as a “fifth column” in Russia. But, in addition to foreign policy differences, there are also overtones of festering resentment about the role of Jewish oligarchs under Yeltsin in looting the country. Nemtsov, as noted in the article, was second in command to Yeltsin.

The article again raises basic issues about Jewish loyalties in the Diaspora. As in the period from 1880 to 1917 (here, pp 66-67), there is a common stance among the organized Jewish community in the Diaspora against Russia, now tinged with Jewish loyalties to Israel at a time when war with Iran has assumed center stage for the Israel Lobby. As in the 1880-1917 period, this has resulted in Diaspora Jewish communities favoring foreign policies that are not necessarily aligned with the interests of the countries they live in but are aligned with international Jewish interests.

From The Jerusalem Post (“Nemtsov murder reminds Russian Jews of lingering anti-Semitism”

A Jewish scholar of education from St. Petersburg, Zicer, 55, has limited hope for change in a country that is ranked 148th in the Press Freedom Index and where several of Putin’s critics have either died under mysterious circumstances or been jailed for what they and many Western observers say are trumped-up corruption charges.

On Sunday, however, Zicer marched through St. Petersburg with 10,000 people, many of them Jewish, in protest of the murder in central Moscow of Boris Nemtsov, a former deputy prime minister. Nemtsov, an opposition leader, was gunned down on Saturday just hours after he urged fellow citizens to attend a rally against Russia’s involvement in the war in Ukraine. …

“This murder and the incitement that preceded it is so shocking that I could no longer remain an observer,” Zicer said.

Whether or not the Kremlin ordered the killing, as some have accused, Zicer holds the Russian president responsible because of the “the wild incitement he allowed on media in recent months against Nemtsov and other opposition figures.”

Kremlin spokesmen have denied any involvement in the slaying.

To many Russian Jews, the murder of Nemtsov — a physicist turned liberal politician, born to a Jewish mother but baptized in the Orthodox Church — is a troubling reminder of vulnerability as members of a relatively affluent minority with a history of being scapegoated, strong ties to the West and a deep attachment to cosmopolitan values and human rights.

Jew Boris Nemtsov was eligible for Israeli citizenship under Aliya:

As in the U.S. and throughout the West, Jews in Russia adopt views that benefit Jews in the Diaspora, advocating “cosmopolitan values and human rights” while also strongly supporting Israel with its strong ethnonationalist values and systematic oppression and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians. Jews correctly see the West as representing cosmopolitan values opposed to the identification of nation with the ethnic or nationalist interests of its traditional peoples, and, as noted here repeatedly and as the main message of The Culture of Critique, the creation of the West as cosmopolitan has been a Jewish project throughout the 20th century, coming to fruition in the 1960s and accelerating in the ensuing decades.

The murder hit Russia’s sizable Jewish intelligentsia particularly hard because “nearly all the leaders of the liberal opposition are either fully Jewish or have Jewish background,” said Michael Edelstein, a lecturer at Moscow State University and a writer for the Jewish monthly magazine L’chaim. “His murder is the low point in a process that started about two years ago which has left the Jewish intelligentsia and its milieu feeling more uneasy than ever before in post-communist Russia.” …

In an interview conducted with Newsweek hours before his death, Nemtsov said that because of Putin’s policy, Russia’s economy is collapsing.

Russia’s support for separatists in Ukraine was “wading into a costly, fratricidal war in Ukraine and into pointless confrontation with the West,” Nemtsov told the magazine.

“We all feel the effects of this insane policy,” Nemtsov said, adding that Putin’s use of media reminded him of the Nazi propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels.

Putin responded to such criticisms by referring to opponents of Russia’s actions in Ukraine — and especially the annexation of the Crimean Peninsula — as a fifth column. And though Putin did not name Nemtsov, the president was widely thought to be referring to him, the liberal camp’s most senior politician. Russian media considered to have close Kremlin ties published Nemtsov’s name on lists of suspected traitors that started circulating shortly after those included on the lists expressed their opposition to Russia’s annexation of Crimea in March 2014.

Labeling the liberal opposition as a fifth column is tantamount to questioning their loyalty to Russian national interests in retaining close economic and cultural ties with neighboring countries (see John Mearsheimer’s “Why the Ukraine crisis is the West’s fault“). Again, given the divergence in the foreign policy concerns of Russia versus Israel and diaspora Jewish communities, there is more than a whiff here of the charge of disloyalty.

In a 2010 televised interview, Putin said that Nemtsov and other opposition figures stole billions from Russians and would “sell off the whole of Russia” if given the chance.

On the face of it, this would appear to be a reference to the notoriously corrupt, overwhelmingly Jewish oligarchs who ended up controlling the basic industries in Russia during the Yeltsin era. The statement alludes to their lack of feelings and concern for Russia; much of the wealth of the oligarchs ended up in the West in Swiss bank accounts, etc. It truly was a matter of looting Russia by people with no ethnic ties to the Russian people — a financial version of the aftermath of the Bolshevik Revolution.

“Nemtsov was on every list of traitors published on the Internet and aired on state TV,” the Russian-Jewish journalist Leonid Bershidsky wrote on Bloomberg View after the murder.

Bershidsky added, “It did not help that he was Jewish. There was a strong undercurrent of anti-Semitism in the smear campaign.”

However, some Russians doubt that Putin would go to the trouble of ordering the assassination of a high-profile figure who ultimately may be more trouble dead than alive. Nemtsov, after all, had failed to gain widespread popularity outside the urban elite and thus never constituted any real political threat to Putin.

Edelstein noted that “there may have been anti-Semitic incitement online and in far-right circles,” but “Nemtsov wasn’t perceived as a Jew and wasn’t attacked as such.”

The evidence in Nemtsov’s killing, Edelstein believes, “points to ultra-nationalists, perhaps militiamen who fought in Ukraine, perhaps only their sympathizers.”

Nemstov himself was open about being born to a Jewish mother and said he rarely felt any discrimination.

Nevertheless, this is a Jewish story and one with sobering implications for how one thinks about the liberal opposition movement in Russia and the demonization of Russia in Western media and political circles.

Jew Treasury Undersecretary For Terrorism And Financial Intelligence David Cohen and Jewess Wendy Sherman,
Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs, (Jewess Victoria Nuland's boss), testify before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Some insightful commentary under the article posted above from The Occidental Quarterly, including this one from its author:

Kevin MacDonald
March 3, 2015

I realize that Putin has been friendly to Jews. But my impression is that when he came to power he tolerated oligarchs who did not intend to exert political power and media control as was occurring during the Yeltsin years, Khodokorvsky being the prime example. If the Yeltsin trends had continued, Russia would be a colony of the West by now, with the liberal, cosmopolitan attitudes of the mainstream Jewish community completely in charge. It would be as if in the US, orthodox Jews were tolerated and encouraged because they have little real influence and are inward looking rather than actively trying to shape the society, but the Jewish left ensconced in Hollywood and the rest of the media, the universities, and politics was completely marginalized. There’s no question that liberal Jews in Russia hate Putin.

Dr. MacDonald tries to give a balanced view of President Putin:

Kevin MacDonald

We have had several articles in TOO about and by Russian nationalists who are critical of Putin. That is not the point here.
E.g., ... ederation/ ... crackdown/

Here are a couple of other comments that should be of interest to us goyim:

Let’s see if I got this right (an example of Jewish networking);

Boris Yelstin called on
Jew Yegor Gaidar, Russia Prime Minister, who called on

Jew Larry Summers, Clinton Adm., who called on
Jew Jeffrey Sachs, Harvard economist who called on
Jew Andre Schleifer, Harvard economist who called on
Jew David Lipton, economist who introduced
“shock therapy privatizing Russia’s assets into the
hands of a few Russian Jews (now oligarchs), thus creating
hyperinflation/poverty for millions”.

March 3, 2015

The neocons are all descendants of Russian Jews (Trotskysts) disaffected by “Stalinism” which reduced the number of Jews in all echelons of power (Party, Army, Security, Economy, Culture) and replaced them with (incredibly!) with… Russians. In addition “Stalinism” refused to accede to their demands to create an Jewish Soviet Republic on the Black Sea coast from Bessarabia to Abkhaz with its capital in Odessa, or in Crimean and Azov region centered in Kerch. They were hoping that “the Jewish masses of all countries, in particular the United States would give substantial aid” to building up such a republic! Like the aid that the American (Jewish) bankers gave lavishly to the Bolshevics (all Jews) to foment the Revolution which brought them to power and kept them there until Stalin pushed them (slightly) aside.
If you think that history repeats itself it is because it does. As Marx put it “the second time as farce”.

Russia to ban Coca-Cola and Pepsi

Russian State Duma deputies offer to ban Coca-Cola and Pepsi import to Russia in addition to the food embargo.

Igor Zotov claims that the beverage producers fund main political forces of the US.

Russia limited food import from countries imposing sanctions against it for a year in 2014. These are: the US, Canada, Australia and Norway. On Thursday Russia has extended embargo till August, 2, 2016.

"In order to support actions of the Russian President and Government regarding countersanctions, we offer to impose restrictions on The Coca-Cola Company и PepsiCo, which are the official sponsors of the Republican and Democratic Party of the US, and thus advocate extension of the sanctions against Russia," Zotov said.

Jews Are Fleeing Russia Because of Putin

JUST A year ago, Russian journalist Vladimir Yakovlev was one of Moscow’s most influential media figures.

Today, he lives a quiet life in Tel Aviv and has swapped his Russian passport for an Israeli one.

Yakovlev, the founder of the respected Kommersant publishing house and the Snob magazine, belongs to a new wave of disillusioned Russian Jews deserting their country for the relative stability of Israel.

“The big problem with Russia, and the main reason why I left, is the fact that our value system was destroyed,” he says. “Life in Russia has turned into Russian roulette. Every morning you turn the roulette wheel, you never know what is going to happen to you.”

Spooked by Russia’s actions in Ukraine and by the increasingly stringent punishments for anyone deemed critical of the Kremlin, Russians of Jewish descent have been fleeing in droves over the past 18 months.

Surge From Eastern Europe

According to Israeli authorities, as many as 4,685 Russian citizens relocated to Israel in 2014 — more than double than in any of the previous 16 years.

And the trend seems to be accelerating.

The nongovernmental Jewish Agency for Israel has released figures showing a 40-percent surge in immigration to the country between January and March of this year, compared to the same period in 2014.

The study suggests that while the majority of immigrants still come from Western Europe, Russians and Ukrainians are responsible for this increase. The number of Jews migrating from Western Europe has remained largely the same.

Yakovlev, however, doesn’t consider himself a simple immigrant. He is, in his own words, a refugee.

“People usually emigrate due to domestic circumstances,” he says. “People are now leaving because they are scared to stay where they would like to live. They are running from Russia.”

Zeyev Khanin

Zeyev Khanin, an official at Israel’s Immigrant Absorption Ministry, says the average Russian immigrant has changed dramatically since the last mass exodus of Jews from Russia ebbed in the late 1990s.

He says newcomers from Russia are significantly younger, more educated, and, as a rule, hail from Moscow or St. Petersburg.

“The average education level is on the rise and the number of people with degrees in humanities has increased massively,” he tells RFE/RL. “Today’s repatriates are mostly the creative intelligentsia.”

Mikhail Kaluzhsky

Mikhail Kaluzhsky was among the 4,685 Russians who moved to Israel last year.

A journalist and playwright from Moscow, he is typical of the new wave of Russian immigrants described by Khanin.

Kaluzhsky says his decision to leave Russia is “directly linked to politics.”

In January 2014, he traveled to Ukraine to witness the Maidan pro-democracy protests that toppled Russia-friendly President Viktor Yanukovych.

He says the unwavering determination of Maidan protesters left a deep impression on him, together with an uncomfortable realization that Russian antigovernment activists lag far behind their Ukrainian counterparts.

“I understood that our protests were worthless,” he says. “After the Bolotnaya protests [in Moscow in 2012] in our country, demonstrators went to the restaurant. Activists on Maidan did not go anywhere, they stayed until victory.”

Then, Kaluzhsky lost his job with the Sakharov human rights organization as a result of Russia’s new “foreign agent” law.

The controversial law, signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2012, forces NGOs that receive foreign funding and are deemed to carry out political activities to register as “foreign agents.”

“The center’s financial situation deteriorated as soon as talk about foreign agents started in Russia,” says Kaluzhsky. “Western foundations said they could no longer fund initiatives that may be shut down tomorrow.”

In fall 2014, the Sakharov Center was forced to scrap its theater projects, to which Kaluzhsky had actively contributed.

Crimea Seizure

Russia’s annexation of Crimea from Ukraine was the last straw.

“After Crimea, our family decided to distance itself from all of this, most of all from the government,” he says.

The Kaluzhskys now live in the outskirts of Tel Aviv. Their son attends a local Jewish pre-school and already speaks good Hebrew.

They have sold all their belongings in Russia and do not plan to return.

Vladimir Yakovlev, too, sees his future in Israel.

He and his wife have settled in downtown Tel Aviv, in a bright flat with a balcony full of flowers.

Most of their friends are other Russian intellectuals, and many of these friendships date back from their life in Moscow.

Yakovlev says Israel offers the best of both worlds — a sunny, friendly climate and the same circle of liberal, educated Muscovites that surrounded him in Russia.

“My group of friends here is almost the same as I had in Moscow,” he says. “We live in the same house as friends from Moscow, and I keep meeting people in the streets whom I regularly spent time with in Moscow.”

“No one,” he adds, “should be forced to spend their life dealing with this Russian nonsense.”
