Qassam Brigades: Four Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza stabbing operation

"...The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas resistance movement, says four Israeli troops were killed in an operation in the northern sector of the Gaza Strip.

In a brief statement, Qassam Brigades said its fighters stabbed at close range an Israeli officer and three soldiers at the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip on Thursday morning, resulting in their deaths.

They seized assault rifles and other weapons from the slain Israeli troops, it added.

There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military on the Qassam Brigade's statement..."

16 settlers injured as ballistic missile fired from Yemen hits Tel Aviv

"...More than a dozen Israeli settlers have sustained injuries after a ballistic missile launched from Yemen struck the central part of the Israeli-occupied territories, as Yemeni Armed Forces continue their operations in support of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli Magen David Adom emergency service said 16 people were lightly injured by shattered glass as the projectile landed in Tel Aviv’s southern Jaffa area early on Saturday. 14 others were bruised while rushing to shelters.

Footage from the site showed a crater where the missile had impacted..."

Yemen fortifying its forces, cannot be defeated: Israeli Reserve General

"...The confrontation with Yemen will last for years, Israeli Reserve Brigadier General Eran Ortal said, adding, "We are at the beginning of a new era that requires us to rethink Israel’s policy and the army’s strategy to confront a group of threats".

In an interview with the Israeli newspaper Davar, Ortal's analysis concluded that "the deeper Sanaa gets into the battle against Israel, the stronger they become on several levels".

UN chief describes Israeli strike on Sanaa airport as 'alarming'

"...The United Nations chief on Thursday condemned the "escalation" in hostilities between the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) and "Israel", calling the strikes on Sanaa airport "especially alarming".

In a statement by a spokesperson, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned "the escalation between Yemen and Israel. Israeli airstrikes today on Sana'a International Airport, the Red Sea ports and power stations in Yemen are especially alarming".

Israeli air strikes pummelled Sanaa's international airport and other targets in Yemen on Thursday, with the Yemeni Ministry of Health reporting four martyrs as a result of the aggression..."
