Hezbollah members and civilians killed, wounded in Lebanon pager (beeper) explosions

"...Thousands of members of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah as well as civilians have been killed or wounded after wireless communication devices, known as pagers, exploded in different locations across the country on Tuesday.

In its latest update, the Lebanese health ministry said at least eight people have been killed and 2,800 others wounded in the explosions that were first reported in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

"Patients are being transferred to different governorates in Lebanon as hospitals in southern Lebanon have exceeded their capacity", the ministry stated.

Among those killed are a 9-year-old girl and son of a lawmaker affiliated with Hezbollah, Press TV correspondent in Beirut Mariam Saleh said in a report from the Lebanese capital.

The little girl has been identified as Fatima Jafar Abdullah while the young man is Mahdi Ammar, son of 'Loyalty to the Resistance' bloc MP Ali Ammar.

Iran's ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, is also among the injured. His wife took to X, formerly Twitter, to confirm his injury in the pager explosion but said his condition was stable.

Saleh said certain people who were carrying pagers noticed them heating up before the explosions took place, adding that Israelis are on a state of high alert, expecting a response from Hezbollah..."

14 killed, 450+ injured in second Israeli terror attack on Lebanon

"...Fourteen citizens have been killed and over 450 others were injured in "Israel's" second terror attack on Lebanon, this time targeting two-way radios, commonly known as walkie-talkies, Al Mayadeen's correspondent announced.

On Wednesday afternoon, a series of explosions were reported across Beirut, South Lebanon, and Bekaa. Cars, motorbikes, stores, and homes across the country caught fire amid the impact of the blasts, resulting in an influx of casualties.

Injuries, most of which were mild, were transported to hospitals in Bekaa, whereas hospitals in Nabatieh and the Lebanese South received tens of others..."

15 Israeli troopers killed, injured as Hezbollah targets military site

"...The Hezbollah resistance movement has targeted an Israeli military site in the northeastern part of the occupied Palestinian territories, leaving casualties among the occupation forces.

In a statement released on Thursday, Hezbollah said that it had hit the al-Marj military installation near the Lebanese border with the occupied lands with "appropriate weapons" and caused "a number of deaths and injuries" among the Israeli forces.

Hezbollah also emphasized that the strike came in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their resistance.

Israeli media reported that two soldiers were killed and at least 13 others wounded after two anti-tank missiles fired from south Lebanon impacted the occupied territories.

The strike came after an Israeli mass terror attack killed more than 30 people and injured 3,250 others in Lebanon..."

Nasrallah: Enemy crossed all red lines; bombings declaration of war

"...Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah says Israel crossed all redlines in its explosions in booby-trapped radios and pagers in Lebanon.

"The enemy has crossed all red lines and all laws in this attack. This is a massive terrorist attack, genocide, a massacre", Nasrallah said in a televised address on Thursday.

"The Tuesday and Wednesday massacres are a war crime, a declaration of war...you can call it anything", he added.

The pager and walkie-talkie explosions on Tuesday and Wednesday killed 37 people and wounded nearly 3,000.

Israel's willful intent, Nasrallah said, was to kill 4,000 Lebanese people within minutes but many of the pagers were out of service, turned off or stored away.

"When the enemy planned out this attack, they assumed there were at least 4,000 pagers spread out across all of Lebanon. This means that the enemy had the intention of murdering 4,000 people in a single minute".

"The same was repeated on the second day with the aim being to kill thousands of people carrying radio devices", Nasrallah said.

Some of the attacks, he said, took place in hospitals, pharmacies, marketplaces, commercial shops and even residential homes, private vehicles and public roads where thousands of civilians, including women and children, are present..."

Lebanon anticipates another round of huge escalation

Israeli terrorist pager attack plot in the works since 15 yrs: Report

"...The Israeli occupation was involved in the production of pagers that mass-detonated in the hands of thousands of people in Lebanon, an operation that took over 15 years of planning, ABC News reported on Friday citing a US intelligence source.

The unprecedented terrorist attack on Tuesday led to the killing of over 12 people and wounding more than 2,750. Casualties included women and children.

The firms suspected to have played the key role in the attack are Hungarian-based BAC Consulting, which Taiwan-based producer Gold Apollo says had permission to use its brand - including manufacturing - through a licensing agreement. Another company in Bulgaria is also suspected to have been part of the terrorist operation, yet it was unnamed by the country's authorities.

Sources said that the pagers were rigged with one to two ounces of explosives and equipped with a remote trigger to initiate the explosion.

Despite world countries and leaders expressing horror over the terrorist attack, the main concern among most Israeli officials and experts lies elsewhere.

A former senior Israeli intelligence officer criticized the timing of the detonation, considering it was a "wasted capability that was built to destroy Hezbollah"..."
