Only the flame will save us
The scum and trash of Hollywood came out in full force the other day to cry us a river about all the scum and trash who lost their homes in the sacred flames which cut a swath through the scum and the trash. The vile and disgusting momma monster Lady Gaga who in her own execrable person is exactly what is wrong with the modern world queried off key if her listeners wanted more than this modern world, if they wanted something to fill their voids. But she is the void, and the only thing that can fill that void is the Sacred Flame. Billy Crystal was there as a kind of perverse Master of Ceremonies, a man who vaulted to fame portraying a fag (to chastise the squares!) and who recently reprised his most famous scene with a now over the hill hag, harpy and harridan propped up by plastic surgery miming an orgasm while she downed some Mayo, once again titillating the people of the Void. Rod Stewart had five minutes of credibility in Faces, but then wondered if people thought he was sexy, and then became the go to doyenne of the American Songbook thereby stuffing the erogenous zones of lightheaded middle-class women teary eyed for the sentimental. He was on hand in an odd zebra jacket with his plastic surgery enhanced face as a spiky haired freak warbling nonsense. Prancing around like a fag screaming that he was forever young, which one look at his time ravaged face shows is not true.
The Chili Peppers and post bullet in the mouth of Kurt Cobain Nirvana were present to feast off the carcass of their past and defile Culture as was blind as a bat Stevie Wonder who donned a Donna Summer peaked bill to warn us that we should not believe in things we don’t understand (good advice little Stevie, and the list of things you do not understand is long and sundry). Nasty and ugly and anorexic waif and no talent hack Billie Ellish sang out of tune in her patent pending screech, and vapid whore Katy Perry, who for some reason is known, said she was proud to be a California Girl (daisy dukes and bikinis don’t you know)—she was “representing” (a nigger word) California. What represents California in truth is a nasty mix of the world’s races, decadent and inconsequential celebrities, and mind numbed population. Naturally the niggers were sickly represented by Dr Dre with his nigger music to achieve the apotheosis of the insipid; and we learned that harpy and haggard looking Stevie Nicks’ home was saved, that a landslide did not bring it down, but the talent and voice are beyond repair. Sting was introduced by an underage looking half naked woman (put the chick in a turtleneck and she's working as a barista!) and the former Police front man sent out a message in a bottle, the message being a sad a lament as to why the Muse abandoned him decades ago.
To anyone sane this self-congratulating whole sick crew does not appear anything that anyone should cry over or is worth saving. But the burnt-out embers are a promise for us, as despite the mawkish maunderings and the boo hoo lachrymose and unseemly crying, the flame, the sacred flame, ripped its path of justice through the rotting corpse of California, and not a moment too soon. Above and beyond the rising flame, the flames which light our path, we hear the bells of our mission, and it proves that in the end the beast will be stabbed by our steely knives---and I’m looking right at you Don Henley, who for some reason failed to show. Who has a match?
