Another turning point
A fork stuck in our road

Heidegger speaks of the “turn” at the end of time; Gabriel has it’s so strange the way things turn; we are at the end of an Aion or Era, and at the dawn of the New Age; but we have to decide now and choose; we have come to a fork in the road (you know there are two paths you can go on but there is still time to change the road you are on) and must get on the Path (see William Pierce, The Path)

Time grabs us by the wrist
It shows us where to go

Chronos is a personification of time in pre-Socratic philosophy and later Greek Literature. Chronos is consciously identified as a Titan in Greek mythology, one of the UR gods or ultimate progenitors and only begetters. The identification became more widespread during the Renaissance, giving rise to the iconography of Father Time wielding the harvesting scythe. Greco-Roman mosaics depicted Chronos as a man turning the zodiac wheel. He is comparable to the deity Aion as a symbol of cyclical time. It is time which directs us as Holderlin says that at times in frustration the god will have to guide our fingers to write out of frustration at our recalcitrance. In this instance time’s direction is gentle (it grabs us by the wrist as if we are children) and give us the location where we have to be, and where we will be when we align with the cosmos.

So make the most of this test
And don’t ask why

Life is not a question, and to ask why is fruitless (there is no reason but the truth is plain to see, Whiter Shade Of Pale). Life is a performance test, we must not question it but simply pass the test.

It’s not a question
But a lesson learned in time

Once again the idea that life is not a question is stated; now life is identified as a lesson, that is we are being educated into being gods, we are one man learning, that is when we learn the lessons that are being given to us we pass the test of life which is the test of the cosmos.

It’s something unpredictable
But in the end it’s right
I know you will have the time of your life

Let uncertainty be our guiding light (Hewson). Once again we are neophytes or learners in the cosmic economy, we are students, and to know the ultimate answers will only happen at the next stage. So now where we are going cannot be foreseen but we are assured that in the end it will be right (rule, Reich, reign, all manner of things shall be well Eliot, all’s well that ends well, Shakespeare, you know it’s going to be alright, Lennon). Also the indication that the law of justice (right) will prevail over the lawless ones.

So take the photographs
And still frames in your heart
Hang them on the shelf
In good health and good times

The listener is instructed to take the store of memories and hang them while one is well; a warning of life’s fleetingness, a memento mori, that one should prepare for the conclusion of the test (prepare yourself you know it’s a must, hope you got your things together).

Tattoo some memories of
Dead skin on trial

Now the injunction to remember death (memento mori) is explicit. To recall that we are mortal creatures formed of dust, and to remember this as an imprint; most dust in homes is human skin which has been shed.

For what it is worth
It is worth all your while

A reminder that life is an infinity of riches; I am of the universe and you know what it’s worth, Lennon.

It’s something unpredictable
But in the end it’s right

Notes:

In sentences where the word it appears the word it is nearly always a representation of the impersonal cosmic life force which pervades all things (See It, White Biocentrism, November 3 2024).
