Only not to be of use
Impossible
Behind every great fortune is a crime
A lot of energy is spent on the idea of humanism and what is humane and what human rights are. What is inhumane (axiomatically) is to use another being as an instrument for one’s own ends rather than treating that being as a being in itself. So when the Europeans used Africans as slaves they were being immoral; and when the Africans used other Africans as slaves they were being immoral; and when the Aztecs used humans in their blood rituals they were being immoral; and when the Spanish used the Aztecs as slaves they were being immoral, and so on. The amount of domination is irrelevant to the immorality, one bit of ill use and you are being immoral. You pay your money and you play you part.
In a fit of spastic rage John Lennon killed three men with his bare hands, so he was being immoral. He did recognize it and he predicted that he would meet a grisly end; Martin Luther King witnessed a rape and egged it on; there is no public evidence that he recognized his immorality but he did meet a grisly end; Sharon Tate solicited young White girls to be brought to Cielo Drive to be filmed being sadistically whipped, so she was using them for her own ends, treating them as instruments for her own pleasure and not as beings in themselves; so she was being immoral her end was equally grisly.
At his death Lennon was lionized as St. John, Martin Luther King after his death became a holy martyr. Sharon Tate is often remembered as the picture of pure innocence.
Some vegetarians will say that to eat meat is immoral. But in 1971 (at the height of the hippie efflorescence) a book was published called The Secret Life Of Plants. In it an experiment was done where a man sat in a room with a plant and at first thought happy thoughts, rainbows, sunshine, and love. Then after twenty minutes the man began to have vicious thoughts about the plant, how he wanted to cut it and kill it. When this happened the plant began to retract as if it was recoiling in fear.
Thus every living thing is a conscious being in itself, all these living and conscious beings are part of a vast living entity known as the cosmos. And since to live is to eat to live is to use other beings as instruments of your living rather than as beings in themselves. To live then is immoral.
The only moral act thus would be to take a knife and slit your throat from ear to ear—just so you know the best way to do it is to cut right at the carotid artery near the windpipe; this will cause blood to spurt out in raging torrents and you will quickly bleed out.
So let us have no more talk of human rights, and humanity, and being humane. To live is to be immoral; the Christians called this Original Sin and the Romans said that man is a wolf to man, and in the vernacular of English we say it is a dog-eat-dog world. In a Shakespeare play a character marvels at how fish live in the sea, and a second character dismissed this and said it was not so marvelous at all, they only live as men do on land: the big ones eat the little ones. These are all different ways of saying the same things, a home truth.
And so if anyone simply tells you they are moral or speaks to you or morality, or says that you are immoral, you know they are a liar. If, on the other hand, someone is lying dead on the ground in a widening pool of their own blood and they tell you they are moral take their statement as true in good faith.
But if someone tells you that whatever their fate, and whatever their position in the vast cosmic scheme they are only glad to be of use—feel free to consider that man moral as well.
An apex predator is by definition at the top of the food chain; and if one in that position has magnanimity and tells you they are only glad to be or use just say: so strange, victory.
Another way of saying it is that when we burn the boats and cross the Rubicon all of us have a date at Waterloo.

Notes:
Paul McCartney (an English recording artist) said that he became a vegetarian because he felt that every animal deserved its shot. When Weird Al Yankovic wanted to travesty Live And Let Die as Chicken Pot Pie the former Beatle objected.
Chicken Pot Pie is an unreleased parody song written by Weird Al Yankovic. It was written as a parody of Live and Let Die by Paul McCartney and Wings; however, Yankovic voluntarily decided not to release it after McCartney declined to support the parody, as he felt it conflicted with his vegetarianism and condoned the consumption of meat.
Weird Al has the right idea--Michael Reimann
World History appears first as tragedy, then as parody, and finally in total power.
Sometime in the 1980s in Southern California the word killer began to be used as a positive affirmation, as in if someone liked something he would simply say killer or that is killer. Always looking for more economical use of language a friend of mine truncated it to kill. So among my set to say kill was the highest form of approval one could give, and if you wanted to say you bet you, or right on, or most surely, or amen or you got that right we would simply say: kill.
So be it, as always.
