The great corrector of enormous times, the grand decider heals with blood the earth when it is sick, it cures the world of the pleurisy of people.
Every once in a while the god stages a kind of psychodrama of epic proportions involving history and select human beings as staged actors as a tableau for the purpose of, first, revealing its presence, and second, hinting at how and why it acts in the world. In these brief lapsed times the world goes into a local fugue state from which it then emerges to everyday normality; during the fluctuating span many far flung and seemingly unrelated aspects are thrown together for the purpose; and none more so than the moon landing of July 20 1969 in juxtaposition to the Manson murders which occurred on August 9-10 of the same year.
“The astronauts were confined within one of NASA's Mobile Quarantine Facilities for 21 days to ensure they would not contaminate Earth with any potential lunar bacteria after their short lunar sojourn.”
The quarantine began on July 21, and the astronauts landed in the Pacific Ocean on July 24 1969.
“After returning from the Apollo 11 mission, astronauts were placed in quarantine for 18 days (July 24 - August 10, 1969).”
Thus the release of the men from quarantine corresponds precisely to the time when the beginning of the murders happened. These dates are naturally of symbolic import with the release from quarantine causing all hell to break loose (metaphorically speaking).
What we are witnessing here is a fertility and vegetative rite enacted on earth for our education and elucidation (see The Golden Bough).

When news of the imminent moon landing went planetary certain tribes in Indonesia registered their objections. To them the moon was sacred and footfall on it by man was a primal and primordial violation of nature, a ritual profanation and an act of hurbris and intrusion, and so was sure to cause spiritual disturbances on the earth. You drive out nature with a pitchfork yet she will be constantly running back, said Horace. That is nature is jealous of her own and has her Eumenides and Furies to seek revenge.
In all primitive cultures the moon has been female and the sun male. The moon is associated with the ocean which is also female (mercurial, changeable, fathomless). At the beginning of Hamlet Shakespeare calls the moon the moist star on whose influence Neptune’s Empire depends. That is the moon controls the tides of the ocean, and moistness is related to the female. The moon also is seen to be associated with the monthly cycles of blood of the female. On the contrary in all primitive cultures the sun is associated with the male (Apollo).
In the melodrama of the moon landing all symbols are overdetermined so there can be no misunderstanding after the fact. The moon is seen as the female egg being penetrated by the male power. The first man to land was named Armstrong or Strong Arm, that is an aggressor.

Two ls: phallic (which also has two ls and so doubles the double).
11: the double phallic recapitulated and so the double is doubled once more.
Apollo: Greek god of sun, a male god
Once the deed of the moon landing (or ritual crime, depending on the lens through which one sees it) a vegetative or fertility rite is enacted (21 days later) in which a child is ripped from the womb of a mother in white.
"I saw a woman in a white dress and she had blood all over her and she was screaming.” This is the symbolic violation of the virgin with blood as seen by the ritual murderers who have avenged nature by an act of ritual cleansing of the pollution.
As instructed the killers left something “witchy” on the walls written in blood: the words Helter Skelter. All of this happened on a street named sky (Cielo Drive) in the city of the angels (Los Angeles). Among the victims was a hairstylist to the “stars” named “Sebring” brining the sea which is what the moon (moist star) does.
The name on Charles Manson’s birth certificate was No Name Maddox. Dox is a word from Greek meaning “opinion, idea, belief” or just word (paradox, unorthodox) so his name could be translated as the impersonal insane word. His adoptive name Manson is an obvious reference to the defunct god: son of man.
Charles Mason believed that he was receiving personal messages from the Beatles’ White Album, an album so named because the cover was perfectly white. The album was originally supposed to be titled A Doll’s House after Ibsen’s feminist play. Also a reference to Tate who was made famous by the Valley of the Dolls and was perceived to be a “doll.” Also earlier the Beatles had posed with bloody dolls resonant of bloody fetuses.
Beatles is a reference to beatitudes, Lennon said his group was bigger than Jesus, and said the way things are going they were going to crucify him, yet another reference to the defunct cultic god. Lennon himself was caught up in another ritual vortex of the god surrounding Salinger’s cult book.
So all the symbols begin to converge or circle about one another.
The Beatles were recording the song The Two Of Us roughly concurrently with the murders. In the song the speaker says he is “writing letters on my wall” and the murderers wrote letters on the wall as well (in human blood). The speaker also refers to burning matches and lifting latches which is apposite of the murders. In the main recording Lennon does one of his impromptu speeches where he says “I dig a pygmy by Charles Hawtree and the Deaf Aids, Phase One in which Doris gets her Oats.” Pygmy contains “pig” which was written on the walls in human blood. The reference to Charles is obvious, Doris is a reference to Doris Day (another and duplicative doll) who was the mother of Terry Melcher the prime link between Manson and Tate. To gets one’s oats can mean sexual congress but it sounds like gets her just deserts or comeuppance or get what is coming to her. That is the squeaky-clean naïve America of Disneyland and Ozzie and Harriet is in for a rude awakening (Mickey Mouse has grown up a cow).
In the song Helter Skelter the speaker says “you may be a lover but you are no dancer” a reference to the cult of Dionysus and the corybantic priestly fanaticism that has been enacted.

The straightforward take on this is that the male power is the transgressor and the feminine violated seeks revenge. But this is too simple or, rather, it is incorrect. Remember that the first man who walked on the moon had the first name of Neil (kneel). We honor the gods and no one can doubt that our destiny is in the stars. And Armstrong himself had no resonance of pride or hubris; indeed he was a circumspect and quiet and humble hero like the gallant Knights of old. He did not cash in on his fame or become a politician but wrote a solid book on engineering and lived an intensely private life.
It was also after all the none other than the Norwegian Fortinbras (strong arm) who cleans up the bloody mess as a deus ex machine at the denouement of Hamlet.
As for the “victims” take a look at them. Not a virgin was killed but a degenerate and vapid whore who was married to a sybaritic Jew. You have a cosmopolitan scum heiress in a relationship with a woman beating jet setter. And then there is the leech who is the hairstylist, being a parasite on parasites.
That is nature has her own back and gets her bloody own in the end, and they got what they had coming. A man was on the moon and a degenerate culture had the fear of the god put in them.
In any event or at all events phase one is now closed and as to the next stage it is coming down fast.

During the investigation into the murders the LAPD created a war room. It was discovered later that for six weeks (six weeks during which four people were killed by the murderers) two papers sat around 80 feet apart but were never looked at in tandem. Once the two papers were looked at in juxtaposition the name of the murderer was crystal clear.
Manson said the purpose of the murders was to rearrange the lifestyles of the global elite, people who do not want to change, but it will be changed because a cold wind is blowing.

But it happened on November 7, not November 9. Lennon was shot at in front of the Dakota Building in New York City where Polanski's Rosemary's Baby was filmed. During the making of this film the man who portrayed the Crowley figure was very uneasy about the demonic content of the film as if they might be inadvertently summoning dark forces. Crowley was said to be the inspiration for the Sgt Pepper's album as it was released twenty years after his death (it was twenty years ago today). Crowley also make an appearance on the cover of that album. What comes around goes around; or, to put it another way, if you play with fire you get burned. The grand decider cures us of the pleurisy of the peoples.

On August 13 1969 Richard Nixon hosted a gala even for the Apollo 11 astronauts at the Century Hotel in Los Angles, California.
Crowhurst's last log entry was on 1 July 1969; it is assumed that he then either fell or stepped overboard and drowned. The state of the boat gave no indication that it had been overrun by a rogue wave, or that any accident had occurred which might have caused Crowhurst to fall overboard. From his apparent state of mind as indicated by his most recent logbook entries and philosophical statements, it seems likely that he deliberately decided to take his own life, possibly in an effort to become a "second generation cosmic being" according to his belief (and thereupon have no further need for his earthly body), although the possibility that he met with some sort of accident, intending to return to continue writing in his logbook, cannot be completely dismissed.
