Desecrating The Ancestors (Part One)

In the days of yore the sound men of the past worshiped their ancestors, wanted to live up to the forebears’ example; the idea of desecrating these august precursors would not have occurred to them in a million years and, had someone suggested it, they would have deemed it full blown anathema. What does it say about a person, or a people, who cavalierly slander and sully the good name of the people who gave them birth? Nothing good that’s for sure. First and foremost (and above anything else) they are an ungrateful lot and if the gods hate one thing above anything else it is rank ingratitude. There is nothing more fascinating than the blood that is flowing in our veins, that it there is nothing of greater import that what was bequeathed to us as a genetic inheritance; it is the code which informs who we are and what we will be; it is something we should ponder long on and value and cherish; and for some latter day cretin to come along and sneer and carp peevishly at the former folks who are to them as Prometheus is to a crawling insect both beggars belief and make one’s blood boil. Of course in the end the moral world of such maggots is wholly insupportable; that is they are due soon for a world of hurt. But for now we have to sit through laudatory articles written by other vermin extolling them to the skies; and listen to them preen and pose as lights to the world. If there is anything more sickening on this lonely planet I for one have never heard tell of it.

“A descendant of the Henty family – regarded as Victoria’s earliest European settlers – has called for monuments memorializing her ancestors in Victoria’s south-west region to be removed. Suzannah Henty, an art historian whose work focuses on anti-colonial and decolonial contemporary works, appeared at Victoria’s Indigenous truth-telling inquiry on Thursday. The Yoorrook Justice Commision is holding public hearings investigating land, water and sky injustices.”

And there is the telling tell: the harridan, harpy and woeful witch is an art historian. That title should betoken a high calling; one who combs and culls and catalogues what is worth remembering from the past as a precious heirloom and explains and explicates it for us so it can appropriately be preserved and brought into where it belongs: the future. But for this moral grandstanding malcontent you know damn well her profession is not such a high calling but rather a means to saturate the public with worthless trash and tripe; the great art of the White man will be laid low and some dung heap once erected by egregious Erecti (the one with flies buzzing about it and the smell of awful offal clinging to it) will be construed as the high point of human endeavor. And she’s parlayed this usurped position in the Jew Academy and the Jew Museum World into a pestiferous platform or sullen soapbox to sully and slander her blood kin. She no longer wants the once White Australians to worship of memorialize her progenitor because, well, he once wasn’t over solicitous of the rights of brown dwarfs. What is wrong with this picture? Everything, that’s what.

“Colonizer Edward Henty arrived in Portland in 1834, creating the first permanent European settlement in Victoria. Tensions between settlers and traditional owners, the Gunditjmara people, led to the state’s first recorded massacred of Indigenous people at Portland Bay. Suzannah Henty, a direct descendent of Edward’s brother James, told the Yoorrook commission that she believed monuments dedicated to the family in Portland should be removed from their intended sites and be relocated to a museum or park for fallen monuments or destroyed. Memorializing the Henty family is essential to colonization, she told the inquiry. Removing these monuments is a start to repairing the injustice committed by settlers. Ultimately, I believe that Indigenous people should be responsible for what happens to the monument.”

The debasement of the English language has grown apace so much so that equity used to mean the value of your house but when equity runs amok and rampant in society and they therefore let niggers move in next door what your house is worth plummets faster than the National IQ does at the hands of the aforementioned niggers (though it must be noted that the Mexicans are not helping any). Surely traditional owners is a misnomer; I have not even looked it up but I am as sure as rain is right that anything called the Gunditjmara people’s traditions are having horrible hygiene, picking nits from their matted hair, looking ugly as hell, and eating random bugs they manage to catch, and eking out a miserable living. To call them the owners of anything is plainly preposterous, as the only thing they have possession of is their colossal failure to build any future worth living. If they were massacred it was mercy killing at its best and finest, it was putting them out of their misery and it meant that we didn’t have to see their sorry hides roaming the countryside in search of human waste. And contrary to what this wicked descendant says memorializing the Henty family, far from being an evil, is what solid and sane people do for the ones in their lineage who forged a path so that the future could be ever more hopeful and brighter.

“Recently some of the Henty family’s monuments had been spray-painted with the words sovereignty was never ceded – a popular phrase in Indigenous activism. This shows that these monuments continue to have a damaging impact, she said. Henty said the monuments denied the demands of the Gunditjmara people who have requested the statues and monuments be removed. There have been five generations of Henty family members who have not said anything and I don’t want to be part of the sixth generation who doesn’t say anything, she told the hearing.”

It is true that sovereignty was never ceded, for the rancid beings whom the land was wrested from have no concepts whatsoever and certainly no concept called ceding. They just knew the big White man was there and their fellows were getting their faces blown off. Why or wherefore was and is beyond them; all they know is they could not go where the bug hunting was good and now they were consigned to where the bad bugs are though what consigned means makes them scratch their woolen heads. It looks like the Henty family stayed strong (or at least silent) for a long time but finally the dam broke and one of their kind decided to shit all over what made her. It’s a sorry place to be where this woman is, not only totally unconnected to her roots and her antecedents, not only bereft of a great past, or any past at all, and laying waste to the gravesites; no, more than that, she has placed herself outside of the timeless inheritance, outside of the magic of what it means to be a people; and when her body and her soul get their more than overdue comeuppance not a sane or sound soul will weep for her, and when her spirit is annihilated as it must be no one will even think about making the time for mourning her oblivion.
