Mixed-Race Scum Assails Whiteness

This isn’t your grandfather’s Medieval Studies, and not your father’s and not yours---that’s for sure. But when we prevail (and prevail we will) this scholarly excrement they are producing will not be your grandsons’ Medieval Studies. He will possess something much better. Should he choose to pore over the sacred manuscripts of our people, to limn the legends and lore, he will celebrate the North Atlantic of the ice and snow, not revile it. We all have the images of the Professor of the Old English, sitting in an overstuffed chair amidst piles of books, attired appropriately in a tweed jacket and smoking a large pipe, letting the plumes of smoke foster his thinking on the lore of the Grail, and the heroism of the Knights of the Round Table. But now they have the blacks stand in for the Whites in The Lord Of The Rings (the “return of the kangz”—imagine that!), and they hire mixed race scum in the form of Puerto Rican scholars to take a look at Beowulf and find it wanting—too terribly White don’t you know. No knife wielding spic from the barrios of San Juan cuts the throat and drips White blood like this harridan does—by the time she’s through those White Romances will have it dripping all over their extant pages before, presumably, they are pulped.

And her essays discuss the ways that medieval studies has begun to diversify the field and the ways it has fallen short. Nahir also helped create the Medieval Academy of America’s Belle Da Costa Greene award to be given annually to a medievalist of color for their research.”
How they let this Mestizo even near these great White books is a travesty of the highest order. She belongs studying graffiti art, or lowrider culture, or Mariachi music, or sweeping the floor and making the bed, or being that peasant brown woman who annoys you because she walks around the apartment complex with the unlicensed cart and beeps the horn so you’ll come out and buy one of her three day old tamales, the ones with the cockroaches in them (low low prices!). But giving her a platform to opine on our people? To blather on regarding our seminal texts, the ones that have (and will) nourish the generations? No. That crosses a line. But you can be sure there are the requisite journals and the quarterlies, the symposiums, and the publishers, who are only too happy to fall all over themselves to let her assail Whiteness like there’s no tomorrow.

No doubt when she showed up and started bloviating about racism in ancient Scandinavia and xenophobia among the Vikings, hate speech in the Song of Roland, or Grendel as an avatar of the poor minorities, more than a few of those White professors sporting the tweed and puffing on the pipe said what we all would say: there goes the neighborhood. You bet. What was once the exclusive province of the gods has gone to the dogs. The walls to the classics and the walls to the Medieval Studies should get higher and higher; the entire university should be ours but this should one hits home. These are cultures of the past that are White like the driven snow; White from the ground up and White to the rafters. In some ways these are the quintessential Whiteness studies, and only those White men who revere the texts, cherish and love them, and want to transmit them far into the future, should be permitted to matriculate and teach in this field. But now they are certainly more likely to change the name from Anglo-Saxon studies to Racism In The Tundra and squawk about incipient fascism in the forests of Germania.
“Professor Nahir Otaño Gracia was recently bestowed the Mellon Emerging Faculty Leaders Award from the Institute for Citizens and Scholars. Otaño Gracia was awarded for her work The Other Faces of Arthur: Whiteness and the Global North Atlantic. It analyzes whiteness in medieval texts and is supporting her upcoming work on decentering whiteness as knowledge. The award is given to junior faculty who demonstrate through their research that they are committed to the creation of an inclusive campus community for underrepresented students and scholars.”
These Mellon people—they are real pieces of work. Like every big American Institution they turned hard toward anti-racism; they have become part of the dollars laden bureaucratic interlocking directorate of anti-Whiteness; currently they have sunk a quarter of a billion dollars (and more will be one the way!) to identify every statue of every White man of the past with the goal to exert intense pressure to remove them; that is, they are an anti-White juggernaut; and now they dipped their unlimited dollars on behalf of something called “emerging scholars.” And surely you know that “emerging “ is a euphemism for people of color, the global majority, BAME, BIPOC, visible minorities , or whatever new and stupid name these race bastard scum are going by now; no White men need apply for this award; no Beowulf scholar who does noble work on the Mead Hall stands a chance; indeed, if he’s not careful he just might lost his tenure for hate speech.
“Otano Gracia said in an interview with University of New Mexico (where she is a medieval professor) that she concentrates on Arthurian literature written in English, Welsh, Old Norse Icelandic, Castilian, Catalan, Latin, and Old French among other languages to demonstrate that Arthuriana’s obsession with chivalry is about whiteness—a racial category that privileges dominance—by normalizing violence and marginalizing non-whiteness.”
Chivalry indeed; gallantry, honor, a sense of Saxon fair play; it’s as White as White gets—which is very White. This is the high principle of the Indo-Europeans, honor cultures where the noble adversary is treated with respect; not a shame culture where victimhood is exalted to pride of place. Note though that the chivalric code bestows honorable competition only on the noble adversary; not every dog language speaking mixed race horror that comes down the pike. And the irony of this gallantry is that it is this essential White trait (fairness) which, having been twisted, was our undoing. The idea that “fair play’ and (the horror!) equality should be extended to the whole of the bipeds crawling along the planet would have seemed downright bizarre to the Knights of Old. Thes original Knights would have recoiled from such a proposition. But this sporting fairness wrenched from its high and natural home has become our race’s Achilles heel; led to the one race human race fallacy; and prohibited a mass of White people from taking their own side.

It was a good run, that’s for sure: unparalleled. But the thing about a good run is that it can’t end; you have to finish the race and completely quell the opposition. But the titles of some of the papers by this Otano Gracia maggot show that in the unhallowed groves of academe the White man is a leper:

How this nefarious Chicana was ever allowed near these texts needs some looking into. The only way she should ever have been allowed to get within mile of them is if she was cleaning the library, and even then they should have cast a jaundiced eye her way. She is the evil champion of Dead White Maleism run amok; when they found (they say) the word Allah on some Viking relics she chimed in to complain that the White Supremacists were outraged by the suggestion that the Vikings were Muslim. But why, she wondered, could not the Scandinavians have been changed by their contact with other cultures? This of course is but a thin disguise for justifying the Muslim conquest of Europe today. And as a horribly freshly minted academic she will have a long and lucrative career assailing Whiteness; today it is a paying proposition and garners a scholarly reputation; she says Whiteness has to be decentered, a code word for destroyed, and that alone is worth some Guggenheim money.

And I do it by being fiercely Puerto Rican, fiercely Latinx, fiercely hispanoablante, and a Medievalist."
It’s vermin like here that borders were created for. That is she’s one of those implacable enemies of the White race who have been elevated in our country on our dime in order to attack us. She’s a mixed race scum assaulting Whiteness. And she’s up at the lectern and allowed to fill this bilge into the minds of the young, and does so under the halo of the powers that be and with their full approbation. She’ll get grants and publishing rights for her monographs on Hate And Restorative Justice or Medieval Romance and Racism. It will be touted, feted, and lauded as “racially transgressive.” She will attack the White canon, and even the idea of the canon, all the while recreating a new canon purged of all White authors, and putting own people on a pedestal. But Medieval Studies too White? Impossible. Such a field, like anything else, can never be too White. And when we prevail (and we will prevail) the likes of this Otano Gracia will be stripped of their degrees and be reduced to selling burritos with roaches in them to random passersby—but even then we’ll keep a hawk eye on her to make sure she never harms us again.
