They say beggars can’t be choosers but don’t tell that to the migrants. They know their worth (the Jews tell them all the time), no begging bowl for them. They are aware that they are celebrated, that they are the superstars of the modern age, the avatars of justice, the pets of the regime, and the very symbol of righteousness, the hinge of current year morality. So no bowing, scraping or cringing for them, they don’t go anywhere with hat in hand like a miserable and obsequious supplicant, Hell no they don’t. No meek gratitude for them. For them only the best, the keys to the kingdom, the keys the cities, ticker tape parades, enormous ballyhoo and fanfare, and everyone fawning all over them. Because they are ten feet tall and bullet proof, and when it comes to accommodations they want the super sweet upgraded platinum deluxe deal with all the trimmings and the fixings, and every bell and whistle that can be found.
