Half of America is utterly convinced that we live in Sodom and Gomorrah, and they have been taught to turn in the opposite direction lest they turn in to a pillar of salt. They see the trash and the scum of the ages and believe in their hearts that it's high time for some Dutch Cleanser. The other half of America sees the same set of facts, they see that pervert waving his johnson at four year olds. and they see the Promised Land, the rainbow Utopia that the 1960s promised, come to fruition in the final liberation from hang ups and oppression, a world in which expressive individualism is given free reign in the charnel house of their desires. These of course are irreconcilable differences and represent an irrepressible conflict, and will only end in the twilight of civil war.
