Equality Is A Weapon

If you were for equality in 1960 you were in the vanguard of progress and justice, you were a revolutionary overturning the social order. Fast forward to 2023 and if you are for equality you are Adolf Hitler, a fascist, a troglodyte, an anachronism, a throwback, you are retrograde and a xenophobe and, of course, a racist. For as a Supreme Court "sage" once said we must never let equality be a stalking horse for Supremacy. In layman's terms all men are equal but some men are more equal than others.
In 1965 Lyndon Johnson anticipated the equity argument by saying you don't put several runners who have been training for years at the starting line of a foot race, and then take a man who has been in leg irons for years, take the leg irons off, put him at the same starting line, fire the gun, and say the man who has been in leg irons is being treated equally.
And so a scam was born.
Take a look at the pictures of the black civil rights marchers from the late 1950s and you will see it was black men in black suits, white shirts, and skinny black ties, and possibly a fedora hat, the women will have the wide church skirts and the modified bouffant hair style. This was (ostensibly) a want to be bourgeois movement which aped the clothing and attitudes of the White middle class. And they said that all that they wanted was equality. Who could be against that?
Flashforward seven or eight years and the negros had their coveted equality. And no sooner had they their rights than the afros grew about a foot overnight, the black fists were thrust in the air, the looting and rioting started, the criminal savagery began, out came the turtlenecks and leather jackets, and so began the race hustles, the grievance mongering, the affirmative action, the steps up, the hand outs, the special pleadings, the racial set asides, the bussing, and soon the diversity, the inclusion and the equity.
It was a boondoggle of a bait and switch of epic proportions, and faster than you can say old John Brown the rug was pulled out from under White America. Bewildered and confused most White American chose to stay mum about it.
After all who could be against equality?
The crux of it was that once you gave the negros their rights the meta message was: we were wrong. And that gets translated in a trice into we were evil. And that fatal (and false) admission gets leveraged in the next trice into the blacks (and soon the other coloreds) having the whip hand on an industrial scale. The conservatives want to put the dark genie back in the bottle under the name of merit, colorblindness, and equality and they are met with the trump cards of Slavery, Jim Crow, Redlining, and Emmett Till. And in the face of that conservatives will melt like wilting flowers. Which only goes to show that when it comes to equality, and what is not equal in the first place, never give an inch. Because if you do they will take your life.
