What could be more symptomatic of the perverted zeitgeist than a dung-skinned Muslim (educated at Princeton, and Harvard—naturally) writing an elegy for the extinction of the White race? In the novel all the White people turn dark and at the end the grandmother is nostalgic for her lost Whiteness, and her dark granddaughter tells her to shut up. That’s what they want—us to shut up about White replacement. Good luck with that. That this fantastic projection, which is really just a case of wishful thinking, will ever come to pass I seriously doubt. The fighting spirit of the White race (dormant now, never extinct) will never allow it. But on the off chance that it does happen they can be sure of one thing: we will never go gently in to that dark night.
That's right a dun colored Muslin has written a book called "The Last White Man." Untold numbers of words will be written about it but the most important are: The Last White Man. That's the lede. That's the headline. Everything else is just footnotes.

Imagine the squealing if you wrote a book called The Last Jew. Were someone to write a novel called The Last Jew just think of their wailing and how they would rend their garments in the Temple.
Safe to say you'd never hear the end of it. Germany in the1930s would most certainly be invoked and cattle cars alluded to.
This "person of color" has written a novel in which the protagonist wakes up one morning and finds himself no longer White but colored. He is "horrified" and the reader is supposed to be horrified by this horror. The novel mocks what it takes to be the histrionic reaction to becoming colored. He is saying the bleeding out of Whiteness is not a bad thing at all (and indeed it is a positive good) )but only the small mindedness of Whites thinks it is so. Along the novel's way the author will take down "White Privilege" and say that this coffee-colored future is the way to peace and harmony. If only the Whites would let go of their Whiteness and not "cling" to it so stubbornly and recalcitrantly. He thinks Whites see their race as a priceless and precious heirloom and not the global stumbling block that it really is. And thus when it begins to fade away they will become violent. In the book the relinquishing of Whiteness is hard won but the (formerly) White characters in the book (most of them) make peace with being colored and after a period of mourning go quietly into the rainbow future.
What utter nonsense of course.
Obviously this is a vicious novel of race revenge and a book that tries to ease White people stop worrying and learn to love White Genocide. Like easing and old person slowly into a bath of acid.
The metaphor here (like an axe bludgeoning us) is that Whiteness is at the end, the mixed-race future is what is to come. And the author looks at the reactions of the White characters to losing their Whiteness. He seems to say that they go "kicking and screaming" but reconcile with it in the end.
Thus it is a novel of White Genocide. Nothing less. And certainly nothing more.

Jew Arthur Miller used a similar conceit in his novel Focus. In that novel the protagonist gets glasses and is mistaken for a Jew. Of course he learned all about anti-semitism and what it means to be persecuted.
These are novels of racial revenge. They are meant to show how Whites are the oppressors then in the fictional world they subject them to being the persecuted. Many lessons learned, of course.

Mohsim Hamid is referred to as a "British Pakistani" which is one word too many. He's one of those visible minorities in Britain who were part of the "commonwealth" and thus were grandfathered in to the home country. This system was deeply flawed and is like winning every fight in the neighborhood and then telling all the losers that whenever they want they can pick your home clean. Hamid is also a charter paid up member of a floating world of scum and social insects of cosmopolitan elites. You know these people, they breed resentment of the White world and then use it for all it's worth. They or their parents move to Britain or America, or both, go to our best schools, hob nob with our native scum, get grants and jobs with our elites, move back to their home, and then back again, and then take our "generosity" and in turn crap all over us. I'd say the fact that "we" allow them to do this is insane but of course "we" don't---it's "they" who do it. Our denationalized elites and their elites form transnational elites, Jewish and otherwise, rootless cosmopolitans and otherwise, and they use our country like their own personal playground.

In fact when that pretentious and uppity wog was hacked to bits he was in the middle of lecturing us on how important it was that America remain a "sanctuary" for writers and artists in exiles, which artists are part of the floating scum of the cosmopolitan elite and wear out their "welcome" by crapping all over us.

And of course his novel is about White Privilege which is really rich coming from him. This intellectual nullity has glided from perch to perch, from school to school, from job to job, on the basis of nothing but the fact that he is a charter and paid up member of that floating world of scum known as the world's cosmopolitan elites.

If they missed one of the liberal maggot rags I surely missed it; he's been sized up and found to be a person of color whom they can use. He's got that literary sheen of having published novels, he's got the international outlook that even Woodrow Wilson would be proud of, he's got the pedigree of degrees from all the finest institutions that ever betrayed a country, and now he's come up with the idea of ideas for the new global majority in a new global age: The Last White Man.
Hamid said that he lost his "White privilege" after 9/11; he said before this his (relatively, very relatively) light skin made him sort of an honorary White man--self-designated of course--but that after 9/11 he started getting looks on airplanes and started getting patted down more and more at airports, fellow passengers looked on him with suspicion. The shame is that we weren't doing that to him long before and long since because you look at his resume and he's noting but a suspect. There was a reason that the idea of a "complete and total shut down" was immensely popular and the reason is Moshim Hamid and his ilk. Moshim Hamid says white card revoked, that he had become dark and suspicious. Dark is suspicious.

In this book the of "magical realism" the migrants can make it from their backwater hell holes to your front door via a series of "magical doors" which is a cosmopolitan elite fantasy if there ever was one. While they are hob nobbing with the caviar and exchanging their petty bon mots Owotumba or Hector cans step outside of their malarial ridden hut and Alice like make it to your neighborhood and start macking on your daughters without all those pesky papers.
That's what they call transnational.
But in the meantime this "global thinker" is hanging on the Vineyard with Barack and Michelle, thinking of new and more devious ways to hose you. They are up on that higher ground---don't you know?
Nothing is more tragic than to have denationalized elites unless it's to have transitional ones swarm over your blood and soil like a plague of locusts.

To sum up the novel The Last Man is to say that it is a quiet and unobtrusive (and meagerly written) novel the theme of which is "letting go of Whiteness." It would fit in perfectly on a new age shelf along with EST and it implores the White race not to be too attached to the precious heirloom of Whiteness. The world is getting mixed after all and as any Whiteness Studies Professor not worth her salt will tell you Whiteness is the bone that has got stuck in the globalist throat, it is the one thing they have yet to be able to digest. Whiteness (the author says) is inherently reactionary and as he leads us down the primrose path to miscegenation, he wants you to take some deep breaths, ponder the evil of your ancestors' ways, and then let go and watch it all just float away in a miasma of surrender.

Fantastical indeed, phantasmagoric if you think what dismantling Whiteness will mean in the end. Looked at rightly it's not the gentle tale of coming to terms with the end of something (Whiteness) and gently realizing how just that is---it's a horror tale right out of HP Lovecraft. When he shows those "right wing militants" forming he was finally on to something.
"In the opening sentence, a White man named Anders awakens one morning to discover that his skin has turned a deep and undeniable brown."
Don't deny it. Denial is the first stage of grief and is the first one that must be overcome. There are four more to go. Bitter clingers be on high alert!
"What follows sometimes feels like a curious thought experiment — or Tucker Carlson’s worst nightmare, a racist fever dream of the great replacement theory."
Oh yes---the fever dream. The histrionic and over the top reacting of White people that in the blink of an eye a race that evolved over the millennia is being bred out---why all the drama they say. This novel is not a fever dream, it is too subdued for that, it is rather a quiet meditation on the eradication of Whiteness, but it is their dream nonetheless. Martin Luther King did have a dream---the same one.
"Rage at his new situation, twinned with nostalgia for his lost identity, sends Anders back to bed. He realized that he had been robbed, that he was the victim of a crime, the horror of which only grew, a crime that had taken everything from him, that had taken him from him.”
The mockery here is thick. Hamid plays the role of the patient psychiatrist watching his patient (victim) rage. He will play the tolerant father, and let the patient be angry, lash out--he knows it's all part of the process that he (as the wise) one sees the end of. He knows that it is silly that the White man is mad that he is being replaced, or that he has black grandkids or that (in this symbolic) instance he himself has become black. Your neighborhood has been given over to the darkies? Well, what of it? Black crime is killing your neighborhood? Don't try to fight it. Its only your pathological racism that makes you upset at this development---but I'm here to help. This is the real White fragility but it can be overcome in these easy steps.
So say social the social insect who wrote this book.
"In such moments, which lurk all over this novel, one feels the fierce sting of Hamid’s insight, his ability to articulate the cherished premises of White superiority."
Fierce like a wet noodle, fierce like a wilting flower, and patronizing as all hell. First the very notion is ludicrous that it is "skin color" which makes the difference, rather than all the obvious markers of race. The novel begs the question if when the lead character turns dark does his IQ will plummet, does his brain size get smaller, does he suddenly become indolent and lazy, have a desire to commit crimes, to speak in poor grammar, to leave his children in the lurch?
The novel fails to specify.
"Anders suspects flickers of hostility or distaste from White people. And he quickly comprehends the social exigencies of his revised appearance. He knows instinctively that it was essential not to be seen as a threat, for to be seen as a threat, as dark as he was, was to risk one day being obliterated."
Clearly this ham-handed nonsense shows that the author (as befitting one trained by the regime and promoted by the regime) has bought in hook, line, and sinker to the teaching of the regime: that people of color are no more inherently dangerous than White people and that anyone who considers them to be so is misguided and dangerous. In this passage he is trying to "travesty" the protagonists' beliefs and indicate how wrong they are--but he himself is of course the travesty. Given the fictional situation the character makes a realistic assessment---that as a black he will be suspected, for good reason.
"The darkening that befalls Anders is happening all over this unnamed town. Everywhere, formerly White people are waking up with skin a deep and undeniable brown.”
Say this for the author---he hit the sweet spot of where the times are in term of race---of late The Great Replacement is on everyone's tongue and in a million tut tutting op-eds, and "Whiteness" in general is the hottest of topics---and if he's not cashing in on the trend he is reflecting or exploiting it. The browning of America (check the 2020 census records) is now in full evil swing and the replacement is real and is continuing apace; and his line "White people are waking up with skin a deep and undeniable brown" is simply his literary conceit for the phenomenon.
"To the conspiracy minded, hypnotized by incendiary websites and radio shows, this skin-deep change is a calamity, the horrifying culmination of a diabolical plot against their kind. Violence flares. Pale-skinned militants, some dressed almost like soldiers in combat uniform, take to the streets."
Here he acts a good little propagandist, with a nod to so-called "conspiracies" and "incendiary" right wing media vitriol, and the "violence" of the White Nationalists. This is New World Order bullshit 101, straight out of the textbook of bald-headed regime sycophant Michael Hayden; when it comes to the regurgitation of establishment talking points this Hamid fellow (he's dark-skinned and Muslim and went to Harvard remember) is putting on a veritable clinic. Why just the other day the Law Enforcement wing of the Great Reset cabal (the FBI) said that the threat of Civil War is increasing; they said no such things when Jews and Blacks turned our country into a burning ember or set up Autonomous Zones, but because a few rightward leaning Americans that Trump got a raw deal they surmise that all hell is set to break loose.
"The Federal Bureau of Investigation says that the threat of a civil war is increasing. A bulletin from the Department of Homeland Security and FBI was sent to law enforcement agencies warning of increased threats following the FBI’s execution of the search warrant at former President Trump's Florida estate."
You know how this will play out. Now that the Jews have stolen our country any attempt to "take it back," however innocent it may be, will be labeled an insurrection. It is rich indeed that the people who subverted Ameria will now call us "traitors" or "terrorists." Safe to say Hamid is singing directly from their hymnal, it's the one you can find in the pews of the Church Of Latter Day Communists.
"In the days since the warrant at Mar-a-Lago was executed, the FBI and DHS have seen an increase in violent threats against law enforcement, judiciary, and government personnel, including a particular threat to place a so-called Dirty Bomb in front of FBI headquarters, according to the bulletin."
The Jews themselves are the dirtiest bomb thee is, if you take the time to notice you can hear it ticking now.
This is precisely where those references to "pale skinned militants" in the book come from, the Jews send out their bulletins and bullet points to all their minions and they execute them in blind lockstep.

This is the classic canard; over the course of 60 years (or more) a country becomes unrecognizable, is flooded with coloreds so that the White majority is imperiled; but any noticing of this fact is deemed paranoid; just because that man has a gun pointed at your face doesn't means he's about to shoot---don't be silly, don't be paranoid. Ignore everything that your eyes can see.

Hamid’s likely readers already know race is a construct that we could do nicely without."
Enlightenment of course for them is not thinking about race, and certainly not thinking about racial differences, because the races don't exist anyway, it's just a figment of your imagination, and no one of the (non-existent) races is better than any other. This is now a religious dogma on par with the immaculate conception. They want to put this kind of thinking (the only thinking that can ever defeat them) into the coffin and bury it many fathoms deep until it is too late and we are are buried with it.
“A brilliantly realized allegory of racial transformation. Hamid’s story is poignant and pointed, speaking to a more equitable future in which widespread change, though confusing and dislocating in the moment, can serve to erase the divisions of old as they fade away with the passing years. It will be a difficult process goes this screed, so entrenched is White Supremacy that eradicating it will be a painful endeavor. But "growth" (a key word of psychology) is the answer he proffers. Anyone unwilling to be remolded or reconstructed along anti-racist lines is being a hold out, or a throwback, is being belligerent and recalcitrant. To grow here means to give up Whiteness with all of its evil, and its privileges and let oneself be melted down in to the common pool and ooze of color. The lobotomized rainbow future is cast as soothing and restful place where all cares and anxieties float away.
Obama spoke of the "bitter clingers" and Hamid thinks that key is for White people no longer to cling to what the only illegitimately possess. The last White man will then be an object of pity and scorn. Will be viewed as someone as unwilling to move with the times. In short, the Current Year demands the abandonment of Whiteness.
"Violence inevitably erupts around them. White vigilante gangs terrorize the transformed, while some doggedly refuse to accept an end to whiteness."
These are the werewolves, the ones in subterranean caverns and secret places, taking to the hills, and fighting a guerrilla war. They are the last White men, the ones who refuse to back down, and are the subject of the book's withering critique (very much such as it is).
"The savagery, the savagery of the dark people, how it had been in them from the beginning, and had manifested itself again and again throughout history, and could not be denied, and she read the examples, the examples of when groups of whites had fallen, and the rapes and slaughters and tortures we had been subjected to, and how that was their way, the way of the dark people, whenever they seized the upper hand."
Not to worry--what happened in Haiti, what happened with Nat Turner, what happened with slave rebellions in general, what happens whenever black get let loose, what is happening in America today, to worry about that elicits Hamid's patronizing mockery. But when you think about it if we don't' stop it soon where is it heading? If the level of anti-Whiteness today is sky-high when we are at sixty percent majority what will it be like when we are a forty percent minority? It is this question that this sedative of a novel is meant to stop you from pondering.

What this novel is, other than being extremely obnoxious, is a feeble attempt at "therapy for White people." The end of Whiteness (the nut brown author is telling us) is foreordained, the races will mix and live together, so do your work of mourning.
"She could shed her skin as a snake sheds its skin, not violently, not even coldly, but rather to abandon the confinement of the past, and, unfettered, again, to grow."
This sound like the language of the early 1990s when the phrase "letting go" suddenly came in to its sordid vogue---the author wants his readers (White readers) to begin the process of "letting go of Whiteness."
It also sounds like this guy might be one of the bigger weenies to come out of the Muslim world, or any world, in quite some time; the promotional pictures he puts out make him seem like a little guy and that he is one of those "sensitive males." He seems to be saying that Whiteness is a curse, is that evil heirloom, the obsession of which traps one in the past and stifles and inhibits growth.
It is half insidious and half utterly transparent---and totally obnoxious.
"Contemplating the odd wrapper he was wrapped in, Anders mourns the loss of his Whiteness and the advantages with which it once endowed him — even as he comes to realize the artificiality and cruelty of the vanishing system that held him aloft."
That is he sees Whites (or says Whites should be) in a transition phase; still showered with the advantages and privileges of being White it will be hard to give that up, but the slow "education" in to why Whiteness is so awful will slowly raise consciousness and make the efforts at remorse and guilt appropriate to growing and developing enlightenment.
Older White people in the novel have a particularly hard time with this:
“People are changing, she warns her daughter early on. All over. Our people.”
Our people. Meaning our people---not the author's people. The fact that he has the gall to speak for us, or to us, that this little shit from a half-baked and half assed dung heap country could come and get his head full of ideas that he would ever be able to pass judgment on us, pass the judgement on us on the regime's behalf---well, it really beggars belief.
This is the White person's elegy--written by a s---skin. He conjures up the glowy haze of a nostalgic sadness--when the hard eyed men he is going to have to deal with have their gaze firmly fixed on the future.
"Each character deals with the loss of their whiteness differently. Oona’s mother, for instance, retains hope that her grandchildren will be born white, though she concedes that it’s probably unlikely."
In the novel vague, dreamy, fond hopes predominate--this is the ruling class' preferred version of how things go down in the end---a few militant riders become terrorists but for the vast majority of White people their initial anger subsides as they realize that the end is just--and then a soft focus maudlin remembrance occurs until the "great day" when they can finally let go of Whiteness for good.
If this is their dream they have another thing coming.
"At its heart, this is a novel about seeing, being seen, loss and letting go. The loss of privilege that comes from being perceived as white, and no longer being able to view the world from within whiteness, are some of the anxieties examined."
One might as well take a million seconal and sleep the sleep of the finally guiltless.
"When Anders’ father—the last White man of Hamid’s title—dies, there are no more of the pale people who wandered like ghosts in the town, and as time passes those who are left slowly lose their memories of whiteness."
The pale people who walk around like ghosts---pejorative, condescending, obnoxious--when White people are not so much consigned to the past but to oblivion itself.
"Common rituals are presented as ways to acknowledge the past – revisiting old photographs, returning to familiar hangouts, telling stories of people she’s lost – all the while accepting the necessity for change."
In the novel the fantastic country where all these imaginings occur is a "snowy country."
But loss and mourning have come and a black blizzard is brewing.
"Anders and Oona have a daughter—she comes out brown and ferocious. By then, Oona’s mother has lost her whiteness, too. When she waxes nostalgic about the glories of the white past, her brown granddaughter stills her with a word, stop, and a kiss. This is the novel’s cure for white despair over the loss of whiteness: Keep calm and carry on."
Cure implies disease----a wise, enlightened brown child confers this profound and sage advice on the older and still somewhat hard-hearted woman, a woman still thinking about and having an inkling of the "glories" of the White past-----stop the brown child says---Whiteness is no more.
Cosmopolitan insects are crawling everywhere.

In the epilogue set years later, Anders’ nonwhite daughter tells her ex-white grandmother, who likes to talk to her about their white ancestors, to shut up."
Ah, the rainbow future tells the White past to silence itself.

She is dying and is being fed garbage the author says, when in fact she is hearing the final message of resistance. They want to make that message seems out of bounds.
"They were converting us, and lowering us, and that was a sign, a sign that if we did not act in this moment there would be no more moments left and we would be gone."
This book is part of this process of lowering and converting. This book is a keystone of eradicating White people, a milestone in the process of the rising tide of color.
"At the end of the book, Hamid fast-forwards to a time when whiteness is a distant memory, inviting readers to imagine the possibility of a post-racial world."

This "person of color" has written a novel in which the protagonist wakes up one morning and finds himself no longer White but colored. He is "horrified" and the reader is supposed to be horrified by this horror. The novel mocks what it takes to be the histrionic reaction to becoming colored. He is saying the bleeding out of Whiteness is not a bad thing at all (and indeed it is a positive good) )but only the small mindedness of Whites thinks it is so. Along the novel's way the author will take down "White Privilege" and say that this coffee-colored future is the way to peace and harmony. If only the Whites would let go of their Whiteness and not "cling" to it so stubbornly and recalcitrantly. He thinks Whites see their race as a priceless and precious heirloom and not the global stumbling block that it really is. And thus when it begins to fade away they will become violent. In the book the relinquishing of Whiteness is hard won but the (formerly) White characters in the book (most of them) make peace with being colored and after a period of mourning go quietly into the rainbow future.
What utter nonsense of course.
Obviously this is a vicious novel of race revenge and a book that tries to ease White people stop worrying and learn to love White Genocide. Like easing and old person slowly into a bath of acid.
The metaphor here (like an axe bludgeoning us) is that Whiteness is at the end, the mixed-race future is what is to come. And the author looks at the reactions of the White characters to losing their Whiteness. He seems to say that they go "kicking and screaming" but reconcile with it in the end.
Thus it is a novel of White Genocide. Nothing less. And certainly nothing more.

Jew Arthur Miller used a similar conceit in his novel Focus. In that novel the protagonist gets glasses and is mistaken for a Jew. Of course he learned all about anti-semitism and what it means to be persecuted.
These are novels of racial revenge. They are meant to show how Whites are the oppressors then in the fictional world they subject them to being the persecuted. Many lessons learned, of course.

Mohsim Hamid is referred to as a "British Pakistani" which is one word too many. He's one of those visible minorities in Britain who were part of the "commonwealth" and thus were grandfathered in to the home country. This system was deeply flawed and is like winning every fight in the neighborhood and then telling all the losers that whenever they want they can pick your home clean. Hamid is also a charter paid up member of a floating world of scum and social insects of cosmopolitan elites. You know these people, they breed resentment of the White world and then use it for all it's worth. They or their parents move to Britain or America, or both, go to our best schools, hob nob with our native scum, get grants and jobs with our elites, move back to their home, and then back again, and then take our "generosity" and in turn crap all over us. I'd say the fact that "we" allow them to do this is insane but of course "we" don't---it's "they" who do it. In fact when that pretentious and uppity wog was hacked to bits he was in the middle of lecturing us on how important it was that America remain a "sanctuary" for writers and artists in exiles, which artists are part of the floating scum of the cosmopolitan elite and wear out their "welcome" by crapping all over us.

And of course his novel is about White Privilege which is really rich coming from him. This intellectual nullity has glided from perch to perch, from school to school, from job to job, on the basis of nothing but the fact that he is a charter and paid up member of that floating world of scum known as the world's cosmopolitan elites.

If they missed one of the liberal maggot rags I surely missed it; he's been sized up and found to be a person of color whom they can use. He's got that literary sheen of having published novels, he's got the international outlook that even Woodrow Wilson would be proud of, he's got the pedigree of degrees from all the finest institutions that ever betrayed a country, and now he's come up with the idea of ideas for the new global majority in a new global age: The Last White Man.
Hamid said that he lost his "White privilege" after 9/11; he said before this his (relatively, very relatively) light skin made him sort of an honorary White man--self-designated of course--but that after 9/11 he started getting looks on airplanes and started getting patted down more and more at airports, fellow passengers looked on him with suspicion. The shame is that we weren't doing that to him long before and long since because you look at his resume and he's noting but a suspect. There was a reason that the idea of a "complete and total shut down" was immensely popular and the reason is Moshim Hamid and his ilk. Moshim Hamid says white card revoked, that he had become dark and suspicious. Dark is suspicious.
"In his novel Exit West Hamid humanized the increasingly urgent issue of global migration with a propulsive love story about a couple fleeing their devastated city for their lives. (It is currently being adapted into a movie for Netflix by Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground Productions.)"
In this book the of "magical realism" the migrants can make it from their backwater hell holes to your front door via a series of "magical doors" which is a cosmopolitan elite fantasy if there ever was one. While they are hob nobbing with the caviar and exchanging their petty bon mots Owotumba or Hector cans step outside of their malarial ridden hut and Alice like make it to your neighborhood and start macking on your daughters without all those pesky papers.
That's what they call transnational.
But in the meantime this "global thinker" is hanging on the Vineyard with Barack and Michelle, thinking of new and more devious ways to hose you. They are up on that higher ground---don't you know?
Nothing is more tragic than to have denationalized elites unless it's to have transitional ones swarm over your blood and soil like a plague of locusts.

To sum up the novel The Last Man is to say that it is a quiet and unobtrusive (and meagerly written) novel the theme of which is "letting go of Whiteness." It would fit in perfectly on a new age shelf along with EST and it implores the White race not to be too attached to the precious heirloom of Whiteness. The world is getting mixed after all and as any Whiteness Studies Professor not worth her salt will tell you Whiteness is the bone that has got stuck in the globalist throat, it is the one thing they have yet to be able to digest. Whiteness (the author says) is inherently reactionary and as he leads us down the primrose path to miscegenation, he wants you to take some deep breaths, ponder the evil of your ancestors' ways, and then let go and watch it all just float away in a miasma of surrender.
"The last White Man is a fantastical exploration of race and privilege."
Fantastical indeed, phantasmagoric if you think what dismantling Whiteness will mean in the end. Looked at rightly it's not the gentle tale of coming to terms with the end of something (Whiteness) and gently realizing how just that is---it's a horror tale right out of HP Lovecraft. When he shows those "right wing militants" forming he was finally on to something.
"In the opening sentence, a White man named Anders awakens one morning to discover that his skin has turned a deep and undeniable brown."
Don't deny it. Denial is the first stage of grief and is the first one that must be overcome. There are four more to go. Bitter clingers be on high alert!
"What follows sometimes feels like a curious thought experiment — or Tucker Carlson’s worst nightmare, a racist fever dream of the great replacement theory."
Oh yes---the fever dream. The histrionic and over the top reacting of White people that in the blink of an eye a race that evolved over the millennia is being bred out---why all the drama they say. This novel is not a fever dream, it is too subdued for that, it is rather a quiet meditation on the eradication of Whiteness, but it is their dream nonetheless. Martin Luther King did have a dream---the same one.
"Rage at his new situation, twinned with nostalgia for his lost identity, sends Anders back to bed. He realized that he had been robbed, that he was the victim of a crime, the horror of which only grew, a crime that had taken everything from him, that had taken him from him.”
The mockery here is thick. Hamid plays the role of the patient psychiatrist watching his patient (victim) rage. He will play the tolerant father, and let the patient be angry, lash out--he knows it's all part of the process that he (as the wise) one sees the end of. He knows that it is silly that the White man is mad that he is being replaced, or that he has black grandkids or that (in this symbolic) instance he himself has become black. Your neighborhood has been given over to the darkies? Well, what of it? Black crime is killing your neighborhood? Don't try to fight it. Its only your pathological racism that makes you upset at this development---but I'm here to help. This is the real White fragility but it can be overcome in these easy steps.
So say social the social insect who wrote this book.
"In such moments, which lurk all over this novel, one feels the fierce sting of Hamid’s insight, his ability to articulate the cherished premises of White superiority."
Fierce like a wet noodle, fierce like a wilting flower, and patronizing as all hell. First the very notion is ludicrous that it is "skin color" which makes the difference, rather than all the obvious markers of race. The novel begs the question if when the lead character turns dark does his IQ will plummet, does his brain size get smaller, does he suddenly become indolent and lazy, have a desire to commit crimes, to speak in poor grammar, to leave his children in the lurch?
The novel fails to specify.
"Anders suspects flickers of hostility or distaste from White people. And he quickly comprehends the social exigencies of his revised appearance. He knows instinctively that it was essential not to be seen as a threat, for to be seen as a threat, as dark as he was, was to risk one day being obliterated."
Clearly this ham-handed nonsense shows that the author (as befitting one trained by the regime and promoted by the regime) has bought in hook, line, and sinker to the teaching of the regime: that people of color are no more inherently dangerous than White people and that anyone who considers them to be so is misguided and dangerous. In this passage he is trying to "travesty" the protagonists' beliefs and indicate how wrong they are--but he himself is of course the travesty. Given the fictional situation the character makes a realistic assessment---that as a black he will be suspected, for good reason.
"The darkening that befalls Anders is happening all over this unnamed town. Everywhere, formerly White people are waking up with skin a deep and undeniable brown.”
Say this for the author---he hit the sweet spot of where the times are in term of race---of late The Great Replacement is on everyone's tongue and in a million tut tutting op-eds, and "Whiteness" in general is the hottest of topics---and if he's not cashing in on the trend he is reflecting or exploiting it. The browning of America (check the 2020 census records) is now in full evil swing and the replacement is real and is continuing apace; and his line "White people are waking up with skin a deep and undeniable brown" is simply his literary conceit for the phenomenon.
"To the conspiracy minded, hypnotized by incendiary websites and radio shows, this skin-deep change is a calamity, the horrifying culmination of a diabolical plot against their kind. Violence flares. Pale-skinned militants, some dressed almost like soldiers in combat uniform, take to the streets."
Here he acts a good little propagandist, with a nod to so-called "conspiracies" and "incendiary" right wing media vitriol, and the "violence" of the White Nationalists. This is New World Order bullshit 101, straight out of the textbook of bald-headed regime sycophant Michael Hayden; when it comes to the regurgitation of establishment talking points this Hamid fellow (he's dark-skinned and Muslim and went to Harvard remember) is putting on a veritable clinic. Why just the other day the Law Enforcement wing of the Great Reset cabal (the FBI) said that the threat of Civil War is increasing; they said no such things when Jews and Blacks turned our country into a burning ember or set up Autonomous Zones, but because a few rightward leaning Americans that Trump got a raw deal they surmise that all hell is set to break loose.
"The Federal Bureau of Investigation says that the threat of a civil war is increasing. A bulletin from the Department of Homeland Security and FBI was sent to law enforcement agencies warning of increased threats following the FBI’s execution of the search warrant at former President Trump's Florida estate."
You know how this will play out. Now that the Jews have stolen our country any attempt to "take it back," however innocent it may be, will be labeled an insurrection. It is rich indeed that the people who subverted Ameria will now call us "traitors" or "terrorists." Safe to say Hamid is singing directly from their hymnal, it's the one you can find in the pews of the Church Of Latter Day Communists.
"In the days since the warrant at Mar-a-Lago was executed, the FBI and DHS have seen an increase in violent threats against law enforcement, judiciary, and government personnel, including a particular threat to place a so-called Dirty Bomb in front of FBI headquarters, according to the bulletin."
The Jews themselves are the dirtiest bomb thee is, if you take the time to notice you can hear it ticking now.
This is precisely where those references to "pale skinned militants" in the book come from, the Jews send out their bulletins and bullet points to all their minions and they execute them in blind lockstep.

This is the classic canard; over the course of 60 years (or more) a country becomes unrecognizable, is flooded with coloreds so that the White majority is imperiled; but any noticing of this fact is deemed paranoid; just because that man has a gun pointed at your face doesn't means he's about to shoot---don't be silly, don't be paranoid. Ignore everything that your eyes can see.
"The Last White Man puts its faith in the inevitability of social enlightenment. It anticipates that sweet day — not forever deferred, surely — when we finally close the casket on the whole horrific construct of racial hierarchies. Hamid’s likely readers already know race is a construct that we could do nicely without."
Enlightenment of course for them is not thinking about race, and certainly not thinking about racial differences, because the races don't exist anyway, it's just a figment of your imagination, and no one of the (non-existent) races is better than any other. This is now a religious dogma on par with the immaculate conception. They want to put this kind of thinking (the only thinking that can ever defeat them) into the coffin and bury it many fathoms deep until it is too late and we are are buried with it.
“A brilliantly realized allegory of racial transformation. Hamid’s story is poignant and pointed, speaking to a more equitable future in which widespread change, though confusing and dislocating in the moment, can serve to erase the divisions of old as they fade away with the passing years. A provocative tale that raises questions of racial and social justice at every turn. The novel is a frighteningly timely allegory about welcome forms of progress and the fears of people unable or unwilling to grow."
It will be a difficult process goes this screed, so entrenched is White Supremacy that eradicating it will be a painful endeavor. But "growth" (a key word of psychology) is the answer he proffers. Anyone unwilling to be remolded or reconstructed along anti-racist lines is being a hold out, or a throwback, is being belligerent and recalcitrant. To grow here means to give up Whiteness with all of its evil, and its privileges and let oneself be melted down in to the common pool and ooze of color. The lobotomized rainbow future is cast as soothing and restful place where all cares and anxieties float away.
Obama spoke of the "bitter clingers" and Hamid thinks that key is for White people no longer to cling to what the only illegitimately possess. The last White man will then be an object of pity and scorn. Will be viewed as someone as unwilling to move with the times. In short, the Current Year demands the abandonment of Whiteness.
"Violence inevitably erupts around them. White vigilante gangs terrorize the transformed, while some doggedly refuse to accept an end to whiteness."
These are the werewolves, the ones in subterranean caverns and secret places, taking to the hills, and fighting a guerrilla war. They are the last White men, the ones who refuse to back down, and are the subject of the book's withering critique (very much such as it is).
"The savagery, the savagery of the dark people, how it had been in them from the beginning, and had manifested itself again and again throughout history, and could not be denied, and she read the examples, the examples of when groups of whites had fallen, and the rapes and slaughters and tortures we had been subjected to, and how that was their way, the way of the dark people, whenever they seized the upper hand."
Not to worry--what happened in Haiti, what happened with Nat Turner, what happened with slave rebellions in general, what happens whenever black get let loose, what is happening in America today, to worry about that elicits Hamid's patronizing mockery. But when you think about it if we don't' stop it soon where is it heading? If the level of anti-Whiteness today is sky-high when we are at sixty percent majority what will it be like when we are a forty percent minority? It is this question that this sedative of a novel is meant to stop you from pondering.

What this novel is, other than being extremely obnoxious, is a feeble attempt at "therapy for White people." The end of Whiteness (the nut brown author is telling us) is foreordained, the races will mix and live together, so do your work of mourning.
"She could shed her skin as a snake sheds its skin, not violently, not even coldly, but rather to abandon the confinement of the past, and, unfettered, again, to grow."
This sound like the language of the early 1990s when the phrase "letting go" suddenly came in to its sordid vogue---the author wants his readers (White readers) to begin the process of "letting go of Whiteness."
It also sounds like this guy might be one of the bigger weenies to come out of the Muslim world, or any world, in quite some time; the promotional pictures he puts out make him seem like a little guy and that he is one of those "sensitive males." He seems to be saying that Whiteness is a curse, is that evil heirloom, the obsession of which traps one in the past and stifles and inhibits growth.
It is half insidious and half utterly transparent---and totally obnoxious.
"Contemplating the odd wrapper he was wrapped in, Anders mourns the loss of his Whiteness and the advantages with which it once endowed him — even as he comes to realize the artificiality and cruelty of the vanishing system that held him aloft."
That is he sees Whites (or says Whites should be) in a transition phase; still showered with the advantages and privileges of being White it will be hard to give that up, but the slow "education" in to why Whiteness is so awful will slowly raise consciousness and make the efforts at remorse and guilt appropriate to growing and developing enlightenment.
Older White people in the novel have a particularly hard time with this:
“People are changing, she warns her daughter early on. All over. Our people.”
Our people. Meaning our people---not the author's people. The fact that he has the gall to speak for us, or to us, that this little shit from a half-baked and half assed dung heap country could come and get his head full of ideas that he would ever be able to pass judgment on us, pass the judgement on us on the regime's behalf---well, it really beggars belief.
This is the White person's elegy--written by a s---skin. He conjures up the glowy haze of a nostalgic sadness--when the hard eyed men he is going to have to deal with have their gaze firmly fixed on the future.
"Each character deals with the loss of their whiteness differently. Oona’s mother, for instance, retains hope that her grandchildren will be born white, though she concedes that it’s probably unlikely."
In the novel vague, dreamy, fond hopes predominate--this is the ruling class' preferred version of how things go down in the end---a few militant riders become terrorists but for the vast majority of White people their initial anger subsides as they realize that the end is just--and then a soft focus maudlin remembrance occurs until the "great day" when they can finally let go of Whiteness for good.
If this is their dream they have another thing coming.
"At its heart, this is a novel about seeing, being seen, loss and letting go. The loss of privilege that comes from being perceived as white, and no longer being able to view the world from within whiteness, are some of the anxieties examined."
One might as well take a million seconal and sleep the sleep of the finally guiltless.
"When Anders’ father—the last White man of Hamid’s title—dies, there are no more of the pale people who wandered like ghosts in the town, and as time passes those who are left slowly lose their memories of whiteness."
The pale people who walk around like ghosts---pejorative, condescending, obnoxious--when White people are not so much consigned to the past but to oblivion itself.
"Common rituals are presented as ways to acknowledge the past – revisiting old photographs, returning to familiar hangouts, telling stories of people she’s lost – all the while accepting the necessity for change."
In the novel the fantastic country where all these imaginings occur is a "snowy country."
But loss and mourning have come and a black blizzard is brewing.
"Anders and Oona have a daughter—she comes out brown and ferocious. By then, Oona’s mother has lost her whiteness, too. When she waxes nostalgic about the glories of the white past, her brown granddaughter stills her with a word, stop, and a kiss. This is the novel’s cure for white despair over the loss of whiteness: Keep calm and carry on."
Cure implies disease----a wise, enlightened brown child confers this profound and sage advice on the older and still somewhat hard-hearted woman, a woman still thinking about and having an inkling of the "glories" of the White past-----stop the brown child says---Whiteness is no more.
Cosmopolitan insects are crawling everywhere.

Hamid's vision of Utopia is fully Jewish and fully execrable.
"But, eventually, everybody turns dark, the last white man dies, peace returns, righteous vengeance is taken upon only the worst ex-whites, the burnt shops are rebuilt, and the ex-whites finally get over their nostalgia and more or less live happily ever after in the nice new all-brown world. In the epilogue set years later, Anders’ nonwhite daughter tells her ex-white grandmother, who likes to talk to her about their white ancestors, to shut up."
Ah, the rainbow future tells the White past to silence itself.

"Oona’s mother is a conspiracy theorist, believing the changes are indicative of a wider plot to eradicate white people. She's hooked to an IV and is hooked on right wing radio and is a conspiracist and a fantasist."
She is dying and is being fed garbage the author says, when in fact she is hearing the final message of resistance. They want to make that message seems out of bounds.
"They were converting us, and lowering us, and that was a sign, a sign that if we did not act in this moment there would be no more moments left and we would be gone."
This book is part of this process of lowering and converting. This book is a keystone of eradicating White people, a milestone in the process of the rising tide of color.
"At the end of the book, Hamid fast-forwards to a time when whiteness is a distant memory, inviting readers to imagine the possibility of a post-racial world."
What could be more symptomatic of the perverted zeitgeist than a dung-skinned Muslim (educated at Princeton, and Harvard—naturally) writing an elegy for the extinction of the White race? Nothing it turns out. In the long distant future when the history if written by the victors---us that is---a book like this seem like what it is---a "nice try" but way too little and way too late. For of course this is just a fantasy, their fantasy, the Jewish fantasy, that they can soothe the White man to sleep with their bitter lies. When in fact we have not yet begun to fight and in to no dark night will we ever go gently. In fact if you look hard enough you can see that it is not darkness that is falling, but the new dawn can be seen in the distance.
There will be no firing when they finally see the whites of our eyes.
