TODAY IN HISTORY
1845: The Republic of Texas, which had been independent since throwing off Mexican rule in the Texas Revolution of 1836, is admitted as the 28th US state. Considering the open borders policy followed by the Washington regime since 1965, in retrospect joining the Union may be regarded as a serious mistake.
