1894: Hermann Oberth, German physicist, rocket pioneer, and National Socialist is born in Hermannstadt, Austria-Hungary. A friend of Dr. William Pierce in later life, he would attend the 1986 founding and dedication ceremony of the Cosmotheist Church in West Virginia.
