1945: WWII officially ends — German forces collapse after an unprecedented holocaust of millions of Germans, soldiers and civilians alike. Additional millions were killed after the war. Millions more vow that the struggle is not yet over.

Ha! I was a chubby little two-year-old cherub whose nickname was Butter Ball when that photo was taken. Who could know then that the child would grow up to become one of the most hated men in America?

Reminds me of one of my favorite sayings.

I've always said that to live one's life stress-free count your friends, not your enemies. We have more friends than people may think.

Very true...I know we have more friends than we are aware of. Most certainly there are more people that agree with our ideology that are just to afraid to admit to themselves the truth.
Which reminds me of another saying that I like a lot....
"The majority of men prefer delusion to truth. It soothes. Its easy to grasp. Above all, it fits more snugly than the truth into a universe of false appearances..."
