1941: Jewish mobster Louis “Lepke” Buchalter is arraigned in New York state for three murders, for which he would eventually die in the electric chair. Buchalter, along with other Jews, ran an industrial-scale murder-for-hire business popularly known as Murder, Incorporated, which netted him millions of dollars per year.
