One more reason not to watch Super Bowl

Our people can find a better way to spend their time than by watching this crap.

Trailblazing Lesbian To Coach In Super Bowl
By Teresa M. Walker, The Associated Press

MIAMI — Katie Sowers answered questions on topics ranging from whether it hurt getting her ears pierced (no) to if she wants to be an NFL head coach one day (yes).

For the full 60 minutes of the San Francisco 49ers’ portion of media night on Monday, Sowers talked with reporters from around the world on making history as the first woman and first openly gay coach to work the Super Bowl.

“I’m waiting for someone to tell me that this is all a joke, and they’re going to be like ‘Psych! You’re not really there. You’re not really a football coach,’” Sowers said. “It’s one of those things that you really start to look around you and take advantage of every single day, especially with things happening in the news. You really appreciate the moment.”

Being the first woman to coach in the Super Bowl may be surreal. Sowers makes very clear she hopes she’s blazing a path for many more to follow.

“I feel like a broken record, but what I want to continue to say is that even though I’m the first, the most important thing is I’m not the last and we continue to grow it,” Sowers said...

There's no need to convince me, I'm not watching it anyway! Besides, there's no tv service in my home with which to watch it, by choice since 1989. Kids can play these kid's games, and that's ok. Grown men and women with responsibilities to our race and Path have no time for these Semitically-run distractions.

I for sure won't be watching.
My wife will most likely watch the half time show.
A week or so back I happen to catch that one of the premium cable channels
(my wife has the whole Gold package to watch "her shows" - I could do with just the basic)
I noticed that Charles Bronson's "Death Wish" film series was on and set the box to record all of them.
Who knew there were four?
Just watched "two" last night, pretty good for a sequel, I was pleasantly surprised and there are still two more waiting to be watched, maybe tonight.

My movie review •••
Death Wish ~ I thought very good movie that I've seen many times so long of tooth for me.
Death Wish II ~ Surprisingly good for a sequel actually.
Death Wish 3 ~ Just god awful! Just awful.
Death Wish 4 ~ Not as good as the first two but not too unrealistic like 3.
••• Charles Bronson was awarded the Purple Heart in WWII for wounds received BTW, may he RIP.

There is some question as to Bronson's genetic background. However, his deceased wife, Jill Ireland, was a full-blooded Caucasian.

Charles was born on November 3, 1921, in Ehrenfeld, Pennsylvania... Charles was born with the name Charles Dennis Buchinsky. And he belonged to the American-Lithuanian nationality. He was born to father Valteris P. Bučinskis from Druskininkai in southern Lithuania and mother Mary (née Valinsky) from Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Charles’s marriage to English actress Jill Ireland was a controversial one. He met Jill for the first time in 1962, back then she was married to a Scottish actor David McCallum. At the time, Bronson shared the screen with McCallum in The Great Escape. He reportedly told him, “I’m going to marry your wife”. Soon McCallum and Ireland divorced. Then, Bronson and Ireland married in 1968 and remained hitched until her death in 1990.

I worked until nearly 8PM Sunday, then watched Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland in the 1938 classic The Adventures of Robin Hood. Not one non-White in the entire movie. :D The Saxons and the Normans fought it out for an hour and a half and in the end joined forces. As my wife says, "Americans love a happy ending."

**** WIKI: the rhyming phrase "In like Flynn" became associated with actor Errol Flynn, who had a reputation for womanizing, consumption of alcohol, and brawling. In November 1942, two under-age girls, Betty Hansen and Peggy Satterlee, accused him of statutory rape.[2] A group was organized to support Flynn, named the American Boys' Club for the Defense of Errol Flynn (ABCDEF); its members included William F. Buckley Jr.[3] The trial took place in January and February 1943, and Flynn was cleared of the charges. According to etymologist Michael Quinion, the incident served to increase Flynn's reputation as a ladies' man, which influenced the connotations of the phrase "in like Flynn".[1]

More about bad boy Errol here: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldn ... itler.html A notorious anti-Semite, allegedly met Adolf Hitler and spied for the National-Socialists.

One of the few movies I'll admit to enjoying was the 1938 version of The Adventures of Robin Hood, as it shows what happens when men with a spark in them set their minds and bodies to do what's believed to be right.

Incidentally, the movie's monarch, Plantagenet King Richard is a distant ancestor of mine.

Charles Bronson
harles Bronson, whose name at birth was Charles Buchinsky, was born and raised in Ehrenfeld, Pennsylvania. He died of pneumonia in 2003, at the age of 81.

It doesn’t appear that Bronson talked about religion much in his life. The unsourced speculation around the internet claims he was either Lutheran or Eastern Orthodox, and possibly Russian Orthodox at some point in his life.

Both of his parents were Lithuanian, where the vast majority are Catholic, so you would think if it was just blind speculation, that’s where people would have jumped. However, it appears that his father was Lithuanian Tatar, which are a predominantly Muslim group. But then there’s one site that claims his father was a Kryashen, or Christianized Tatar, who generally practice Orthodox Christianity.

I believe well over 70% of Lithuanians are Catholic, in fact in parochial grammar school one girl was Lithuanian descent, her last name (spelling here ??) was Yespelkis.
Anyway, Charles was a WWII vet and received the Purple Heart for wounds received as a gunner flying in bombing missions over the Japan.
