AOC's Transoceanic Railways!

Post by Wade Hampton III » Fri Feb 22, 2019 3:27 pm

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., recently moved into a luxury apartment complex
in Washington, D.C. that does not offer the affordable housing units that were a key
plank in the New York congresswoman’s campaign platform. Ocasio-Cortez, 29, who said
in November that she was concerned about being able to afford rent in D.C., now earns
a $174,000 annual salary and is living in a newly built high-rise in the city’s Navy
Yard area, the Washington Free Beacon reported last week.

Ocasio-Cortez also wants railroads around the planet in order to eliminate air travel.
Constructing railroads across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans to connect world cities
on different continents by rail is actually on the agenda. Yes, Ocasio-Cortez is
clinically insane. But her ideas — which are almost all rooted in communism and fascism
— are shockingly popular among the drooling left-wing idiots who now run the tech
giants, the media and the U.S. House of Representatives. If these people are allowed
to gain power over the country, they will plunge America into an era of unprecedented
human suffering, starvation and destitution.

The idea that you can somehow eliminate air travel that is a much needed necessity in
a modern world and replace it with this 'green' railroads across the oceans is
IMPOSSIBLE, by just the sheer technological difficulties in building any railroad
across vast reaches of open water, including building tunnels.... The costs would be
in the multiple QUADRILLION range of dollars and would be such a massive undertaking
that it would actually ruin the planet's environment....

USofA Favorite Commie....

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has slammed “disgusting” Conservative media for
publishing a fake naked image of her in a stinging rebuke of Republican
efforts to smear her. She also took aim at the Daily Mail. The Daily Caller,
owned by Fox News host Tucker Carlson, published what it said was being
described as a “nude selfie” of the Democratic congresswoman on Monday.
The image in question has been doing the rounds on Reddit for a month,
and Ocasio-Cortez responded to the story accusing Republicans of “losing
their mind + frothing at the mouth all week,” and said the naked picture
“just a matter of time.” The New York congresswoman also called out Daily
Mail reporter Ruth Styles for visiting her boyfriend’s family and offering
“cash for ‘stories.’” The nude ‘selfie’ is the latest effort to undermine
“America’s favorite commie” Ocasio-Cortez, whose identification as a
democratic socialist alarms elements of the Republican party. A video of
her dancing in college, shared in an apparent bid to embarrass her, backfired
spectacularly when she became an instant meme and was instead celebrated
for being relatable. Ocasio-Cortez even made a new video of her dancing
in Congress, giving her haters a sassy two fingers.

Style that has no substance to back it up doesn't impress me. If a billion fools want to worship modern day plastic heroes, that just shows what they're made of.

Considering the closest major city to Honolulu is San Francisco at over
2400 miles away I would given an unequivocal “No.” Lake Ponchartrain
Bridge is currently the world’s longest at just under 24 miles. If
you’ve ever been on that one you know how disconcerting it is to be
on a bridge unable to see land. Now imagine a bridge 100 times longer.
Even averaging 70 miles an hour would take you 35 hours of pure driving.
They’d have to build and staff fueling and emergency stations the whole
way, all while traversing almost half of the largest, most volatile
ocean on the planet. And we haven’t even gotten into why it would be
impossible, in today’s world to build. Logistically unfeasible, and with
no real financial impetus, this might be a neat thing to think about,
but is about realistic as building a bridge to the moon.

I'm going to defer to those who want to spend their time making memes, videos, and writing articles about Ms. Ocasio-Cortez for commentary disparaging her ideas and other cognitive-based deficiencies she may have. They're legion from what I can see, and I have to ask: does it benefit us to spend our time on her/this topic? If you can see it, I'd appreciate some enlightenment.

I'd be inclined to agree with you save for this person being a member of the USofA Congress.

No. I don't even care to learn or repeat this anti-White woman's name. Topic locked.
