Track 10, Volume 12 in the Power of Truth CD series by Professor William Pierce: https://cosmotheistchurch.org/product/t ... volume-12/

[edit]
Woops! "The End of Patriotim" is an excellent talk, but I made an error. I thought I was listening to POT Volume 12 when I saw tract 10 was playing, but later realized it was track 10 on Volume 6, "Race Suicide." It is this talk that every White school child shoud be required to listen to several times, tested and graded on its content.

1. A White World
2. Biopolitics
3. Conditioning for Death
4. Corruption and War
5. Deliberate Deception

10. Race Suicide
11. The Criminal in the White House

For those who think CDs are obsolete, the text and a video of the talk is here: https://nationalvanguard.org/2021/07/race-suicide-2/ It can probably be heard for free on Natall.com/Bitchute or one of our other video channels.

A concise, insightful history of post WWII American history found in a comment at Counter-Currents: https://counter-currents.com/2024/01/th ... ostmortem/

DP84 January 9, 2024
So here’s the deal’s with the 1950s: I like the milkshakes, I like the sports scene, and I like the corporate advertisements featuring attractive White couples and families. Everything else about that era is either unobtainable or undesirable:

Unobtainable: The American economy of the 1950s – as well as the 1960s and early 1970s until Real Wages stagnated in about 1974 and have stayed that way ever since – was only as prosperous as it was due to the unique geopolitical circumstances of that era. Europe was in ruins after the Good Guys lost WW2, Japan also lost WW2 and didn’t start producing vehicles competitive with American vehicles until the 1980s, and China was a third world country that fell to Communism in 1948, didn’t reform itself until about 1971, and didn’t start its current growth trajectory until the 1990s. America was alone among healthy, first world economies, and it’s only true military competitor was the Soviet Union.

The prosperity of the 1950s that contards* worship from a social standpoint (“traditional values!”), libtards worship from an economic standpoint (“fair share of the wealth!”) and trad minded WNs wish to turn the clock back too, was never going to last long term. As soon as Europe recovered and the East Asian countries caught up, American economic prosperity on that level ceased to exist, even as the dollar remained the world’s reserve currency due mostly to geopolitical inertia.

The economic prosperity of the immediate post WW2-era is gone and isn’t coming back, even if we instituted all the socially conservative policies and economically leftist policies that different bases of major political party voters want. We need policies and adjust to the world as it is and as we wish it to be for the future, not out of some reactionary impulse.

Undesirable: The 1950s was when the lethal dogma of Racial Equality became triumphant. Housing covenants were abolished by the Supreme Court in 1948. Segregation of the schools, which was designed to protect White students from the inherent abrasiveness of Negro students, was abolished in 1954. Dwight D. Eisenhower ordered the National Guard to integrate Little Rock, Arkansas at the point of a gun in 1957. All of this culminated in the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Immigration Act of 1965, the legalization of interracial marriage in 1967, and Disparate Impact in 1971.

After the Jews used the United States + Britain + the Soviet Union to make themselves Masters of the World following WW2, they proceeded to enact the agenda they had in mind all along – the agenda that Hitler tried to stop in Germany and Madison Grant and Lothrop Stoddard tried to stop in America. Yes, there was mass resistance in the South, but after they lost that struggle, White Southerners themselves became good little Colorblind Conservatives by the 1990s.

Just as equally pertinent, White Americans in the 1950s were caught in a family cycle that is fundamentally alien to us: The man works some soul sucking White collar job or slave like Blue collar job, the women does all the menial labor at home while also tending to the kids, and everyone is domesticated and servile.

In the face of that, our race took to the 1960s culture of Permissivness and “Live & Let Live” like a fish to water. It was a collective deep breath. A “trad” culture that shames nakedness and sex is a culture that our race won’t soon live under, whether that’s 1950s culture, the Victorian Era in Britain, or any other era that crushes our sensuality and reduces us to the family life of third world races such as the Middle Easterners.

White Nationalism must be Progressive and Futuristic if it wants to win, and more importantly, if it wants to resonate with the race-soul of our people. The 1950s isn’t that. Traditionalism in general isn’t that.
*Contard - Easily conned or otherwise misled. One who is intentionally ignorant of a larger picture of the world that would include areas of study such as science, economics, or world history. One who easily incorporates slang such as libtard in their [sic] vocabulary but who has not taken the time to look up the words liberal or conservative. Someone who embraces religious freedom in America as long as it closely resembles their [sic] own. A student of the constitution who has ended their research after the second amendment. I never cared much for the fifties nor thought of it as some ideal decade or golden age, but I would like clarification on one point:

What would be the best alternative to that? Men and women both going out and earning an income? More small businesses rather than large corporations? More people working in agriculture on small farms?

Hi Fluxmaster. As I am the original writer of that comment, here is my response:

I think we should take a look at the historical precedents for how our race used to live. This is a topic that requires scholarly detail, but, for the sake of brevity, consider this historical breakdown:

3000 BC (roughly the beginning of record history) to 1000 BC: The ancient era of Kings and Conquerers. In various parts of the world, such as India and Greece, our race rules over nonwhite peasant populations, who did most of the manual work, farming, and field labor.

In other parts of the world, such as Northern Europe, my understanding is that our race still lived a Neolithic existence and did the farming and toiling of the land themselves. Such work was always destined to be overcome, hence the ruling Empires and Kingdoms we created when we conquered nonwhite peoples, such as the Myceneans during this era.

1000 BC through 300 AD: The rise and fall of the Classical Civilizations, as well as the world’s first major recorded dealings with the wretched Hebrews.

Once again, this era is marked by a ruling Aryan Race in the Greek city states and in Rome, who live an Aristocratic existence. It would have been unthinkable for a man such as Cicero or Plato to sell his labor for sustenance. That’s what slaves and servants were for - more often than not, slaves who were not of our racial blood.

300 AD -1000 AD: The triumph of Abrahamism and the consequent Dark Ages. Insofar as our race was ever reduced to barbarism and a slave like existence, this was it. 😡

1000 AD-Today: Recorded history returns, and the Renaissance of the 1400s ushers in a glorious new era of Science, Art, Discovery, Conquering, and other outpourings of our racial spirit.

To a large extent, aristocratic living returns. But, it all comes with a price: Members of our own race toil the land and do the menial labor. By the 1800s, Hard Work becomes a new character trait of our cultures. The working men of the 1800s, 1900s, and early 2000s pride themselves on their jobs and their careers, insofar as they genuinely enjoy doing them. But is this the pinnacle of existence? Is this the best way?

The questions you raise are premised on the assumption that all the members of our race will continue to engage in productive labor, and thus, will require some sort of division of labor that both maximizes efficiency and, from a social standpoint, best promotes family harmony and happiness. I am sympathetic to this. But, I also think our race is better suited for the kind of aristocratic living that our racial ancestors in ancient India, Greece, Rome, and Medieval Europe enjoyed.

In order to make that happen, menial labor and farming will once again have to be outsourced. Nice things don’t grow on trees. “Exploitative Labor,” as the Socialists call it, will always be required. This time, however, we won’t outsource most of the labor to nonwhite slaves or servants. We will outsource it to robots and to artificial intelligence, which is a process that is already underway here in the 21st century.

The endgame, for me, isn’t some sort of “Last Man” living. It’s about making our race great again. And, since I’m the one who brought up the original point about family living, let me make this more specific: I think White women rebelled like they did because no matter how well our men treated them, they fundamentally don’t want to be housewives. And, speaking for myself as a Millennial male, I’m not interested in being a provider. Not like that anyway.

I want my daily efforts to go towards a combination of self-improvement and the betterment of my race/nation and civilization. I think in this vanguard community, we should imagine what our daily lives can look like that goes beyond what 1950s Traditionalism can offer. Simply put, I want to be able to visit the beautiful towns and explore the natural scenery of both our countries and our world, without having to worry about selling my labor to pay for it first. I think all good-willed members of our race are entitled to that kind of existence as a birthright.

I'm somewhat sympathetic to that, but with one caveat. I don't believe that it would be good or desirable for robots and artificial intelligence to take over all productive work, so that we could all lead lives of leisure, even were that possible. I regard productive work of some nature, whether physical, intellectual, or a combination of both, to be essential to our survival and wellbeing. Here I agree with the character Marius Pontmercy in Victor Hugo's novel Les Misérables (I quote from memory):
And he thanked God for having two riches that many of the rich lacked: work, which gave him freedom, and thought, which gave him dignity.
I also agree with Adolf Hitler that life requires struggle, and that we live in a world of eternal struggle. In fact, I would say that struggle is the essence of life. A life without struggle is not a life worth living. If technology were to permit all of us to live lives of leisure, it would be a disaster and lead to our destruction. You have probably read about the mouse utopia experiment, wherein mice were given a paradise where they did not have to expend any effort, and they died off in a few generations.

My opinion of technology is that technology should be primarily used, not to free us from work, but to make our work more efficient. Leisure is certainly important, but only to the person who works productively. But someone who uses technology to free himself from productive work is not acting in a way consistent with the progress of our race.

I hope I have not mischaracterized your position, and I am interested in reading your response to the above.

Not at all. You bring up many fair points, and I wish to explore the nuances of them.
I regard productive work of some nature, whether physical, intellectual, or a combination of both, to be essential to our survival and wellbeing.
It is no doubt true that if White Men and White Women sat around poolside all day sipping wine and admiring the luscious red spots of Jupiter from our terraformed space colony on Ganymede, then eventually, the astronomers and astrophysicists who made those colonies possible would look at those poolside loungers and wonder why they had to do all that work, only for everyone else to enjoy the benefits. More to the point, the poolside loungers themselves might eventually come to resemble the fat balls of humanoid slob from the 2008 film Wall-E. :?

I agree that work is something all the members of our race should engage in. Where I probably disagree is in the specifics of that work. As you know, under Hitler's leadership, Germany had summer youth camps for boys and girls in which they participated in physically strenuous activities such as boxing and swimming. Sparta had its warrior ethos premised on social darwinian principles. Every great Aryan civilization had a powerful military with the best trained soldiers in the world, from the Spartans themselves to the Roman Legionary to the righteous Wehrmacht.

Our race would indeed become weak if White children were raised in a life of leisure. I do not advocate a life of leisure alone. But, I'm also convinced that the productive/exploitative labor engaged in by White Men during the 1800s and 1900s is more of a burden than a blessing. I will expound on this point next as it applies to Hitler and his concept of Struggle:
I also agree with Adolf Hitler that life requires struggle, and that we live in a world of eternal struggle. In fact, I would say that struggle is the essence of life. A life without struggle is not a life worth living
.
I think there are two ways to interpret what Hitler meant by that, one of which I agree with, the other which I disagree with:

Racial Struggle and Physical Struggle

In this context, Struggle is how Evolution is manifested, and how Nature moves towards higher states of consciousness. (In Cosmotheist terms, how the Creator discovers himself). This kind of struggle is good and noble. I think Hitler and the Reich Leadership were trying to instill the essence of that kind of struggle into their youth, hence the physically rigorous exercises. I also think the reason the Armed Forces exist - along with the struggle that is inherent to them as an institution - is so that the collective community (that is, the Race) can properly defend itself and exert itself on the natural world around it. Protecting existing living space and acquiring more of it, as need be, is the Name of the Game from an Evolutionary standpoint.

Primitive Struggle

More often than not, I see Hitler's belief evoked in this context. I don't agree that an ethic of Hard Work can be justified under the Evolutionary fact that Life is Struggle. And that brings me back to productive/exploitative labor. I think too much of the labor engaged in to this day by our men and women is superfluous. To borrow a narrative from the Socialists, I think a lot of today's labor is designed to enrich the ruling Jewish Elite and reduce us to slaves, which is what they prophesied would happen in their Torah.

Menial labor is primitive, and I don't think our race should have to engage in it, hence why I want it outsourced. I also don't think the economic system should be designed in a way to force the masses of people to sell their labor for survival. If systems existed in the past that allowed all this to be bypassed, then I think we can figure out a way to make that a reality again, while still having a social upbringing in which White boys and White girls are physically and mentally tested. This would solve the problem of longterm weakness setting in, while also giving us the free time again for imagination and creativity, and unleash our Faustian impulses, which are unique to our race.
You have probably read about the mouse utopia experiment, wherein mice were given a paradise where they did not have to expend any effort, and they died off in a few generations.
Indeed I have. It is chilling and foreboding. My interpretation of that experiment, however, is that future Aryan societies must have some sort of Eugenics program that prevents the kind of surplus population that caused the horrid conditions of that mouse experiment. In the past, excess men were sent off to war, and excess populations during the Age of Discovery were sent to uncharted territories. I think in the 21st century, the below replacement birthrate of the 800 million strong White Race wouldn't be such a bad thing if we weren't vastly outnumbered by our racial competitors. But, that's a separate topic.
My opinion of technology is that technology should be primarily used, not to free us from work, but to make our work more efficient
.
I agree with that in the sense that Milton Friedman spoke of with his spoon analogy, but, I do insist that the primitive struggle I spoke of should be outsourced to technology. There is value in having the physique of a soldier and doing the physical work necessary to attain it and keep it. There is no value in washing dishes or pouring concrete. The education system will take care of instilling proper values in our children, and the summer camps of youth will instill the value of physical fitness.
But someone who uses technology to free himself from productive work is not acting in a way consistent with the progress of our race
In the end, its a balance. Physical Struggle is necessary, but so is Leisure. I think the two compliment each other and go hand in hand. We struggle so that we can secure living space so that we can enjoy it (leisure). Then, when we get bored, the Faustian spirit kicks in, new living space is discovered and acquired, and the process repeats itself. All that time, under a conscious strategy of upward development and breeding, our race becomes more Godlike over time.

The gods love war, but they also love wine. And they can't have one without the other.

Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed reply. I agree with much of what you write, but with some qualifications.

I don't believe that menial labor is necessarily bad, for a couple of reasons. If I understand you correctly, you believe that menial labor should all be outsourced to machines. That would leave us with plenty of leisure time, but there would be other activities that would challenge us. I'm thinking you mean something like sports. The point I want to make is that different classes of people use leisure time differently. There is a small class of highly creative and motivated people who would use their leisure time in a productive way, advancing our race. Aristotle is an example of someone from that class. He was an aristocrat who had slaves to do all his menial work for him, so he had plenty of leisure time, but he used that leisure time for scientific and philosophical investigations. A much larger class of people, however, will use their leisure time idly. Even if you add in strenuous sports to keep them physically fit and maintain their competitive spirit, I don't regard a life of non-productive leisure as a meaningful life. I think the necessity of working to survive is essential for a vast majority of people.

The second reason is that, even for people of the first class, performing menial tasks when they are young will help them develop a strong work ethic which will enable them to best utilize their leisure time for productive activities. I'll give two examples to support this. When NASA was selecting the first astronauts, a large percentage of the astronauts chosen grew up on farms. The reason was simple: The rigor of farm life forced them to develop a strong work ethic, which served them well as astronauts. The second example is the fact that leaders of technology companies generally forbid or greatly limit the use of their own technology by their children. They realize that overuse of technology can have a negative effect on a child's development.

So while I appreciate the value of leisure, I believe that a certain amount of menial labor and the necessity of such labor for survival benefits us and keeps us from becoming weak, and that eugenics and vigorous sports cannot fully replace the benefits of human labor.

In my novel The Amish Rocket Scientist, a newly independent nation in North America is founded based on the following principles:

Principles of Amish Rocket Science
  1. Colonization of other planets and other solar systems is our ultimate goal.
  2. The creative power to create technology arises in the absence of technology.
  3. Technology should only be permitted where it supports that goal of space colonization.
  4. Personal technology should only be permitted where it leads to greater work efficiency; otherwise not.
  5. Technology must be our servant, not our master.
  6. Technology must be used to breed more technology, like money invested to earn money.
  7. Technology not used to breed more technology is like money spent on personal consumption and not invested.
  8. Those incapable of breeding new technology must create and sustain a natural environment conducive to the growth and maturation of those who are so capable.
  9. Man is happiest and most productive when he is close to nature.
  10. Close to nature will have a different meaning on other planets from what it means on earth.
To summarize, those who can use technology productively may use it, but everyone else must live like the Amish.

Keep in mind that these principles were intended to advance the plot of the novel and should not be construed as the exact principles that we should live by. Nonetheless, they make the point that productive creativity develop best in an environment close to nature, and that means not merely experiencing nature as an observer but living in a natural way, and that a technological environment is not conducive to the development of more technology.
