How do I setup an NA radio station in my area?

In one ADV--I cannot remember which one--Strom detailed some ways to setup a legal, short-range, NA radio station in an activist's town. I want to max out my activism but I don't know hardly anything about setting up a small, affordable radio station.

I'm sure Alliance veterans do.

I was thinking of an idea around this, but involving small, solar powered loudspeakers that you can hide on lamp posts and street corners or such, and which stream ADV via the nearest public wifi. Maybe set up a hundred or so around a town all designed to start streaming at the same time.

Another idea I had but would require a lot more engineering work than I have the chops for is autonomous solar powered drones with gps to keep them around White neighborhoods. They would fly around, seek a free wifi, “hide” on a roof for 24h to recharge, then hover for an hour playing ADV, then run to the next signal.

I like to overthink things. Your idea has the beauty of simplicity and nothing questionable about the legality.

Try looking this over, for starters.

The " legal" radios that you are referring to only transmit for about 100 yards, you can boost them with an amplifier but then they aren't legal anymore.
It's like what they did in the drive-in movies.

It might be good practice for bigger and better things, though.

Radio Shack used to sell stand alone AM and I think FM radio transmitter kits.

They also sold various 50 and 100 in 1 kits. These kits would have 50 or 100 different electronic projects in them, you could make a basic very low power AM or FM radio transmitter with some of these kits.

Back in 1997 I bought one of the multi-project kits and I was able to get the AM transmitter to work, but I could only get the broadcast range up to about 50 feet.

This is one of several Radio Shack kits I had over the years:
