White extremist propaganda surged by almost 60 percent on Midwestern college campuses last year. That’s according to a new report from the Anti-Defamation League.

Of all the states in the ADL’s Midwest region, white supremacist flyers and stickers were most prevalent in Illinois.

There were 15 reported cases on Illinois university and community college campuses between last September and May of this year.

Lara Trubowitz, with the ADL, said the messages are meant to make minority students feel unwelcome.

“We know that when targeted populations on college campuses feel under threat that those are obstacles to academic success,” she said.

Trubowitz said there’s been a softening of white supremacist language and symbols, such as the swastika.

“Once upon a time white supremacist propaganda would have said 'keep the immigrants out,’ or 'keep the Jews out,’” she said. “It might say something like 'diversity is destroying the nation’ or ‘white people, don’t you want your identity respected?’”

At Eastern Illinois University and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, someone posted flyers and stickers that read “European Roots, American Greatness.”

Anti-Semitic flier found in Hillsborough
Nick Muscavage, Bridgewater Courier News Published 12:20 p.m. ET July 20, 2019 | Updated 12:41 p.m. ET July 20, 2019

HILLSBOROUGH - An anti-Semitic flier was found in the township last week.

A township employee found an anti-Semitic flier posted on the Hillsborough Municipal Building on Monday morning, township police Lt. Mike McMahon told Patch.com, which first reported the flier.

Hillsborough Township Deputy Mayor Doug Tomson issued a statement on his Facebook condemning the flier and calling on township residents to do the same.

"Absolutely disgusting," Tomson said on Friday. "I hope everyone joins me in condemning this flyer."

He said the fliers should not be made "political."

"The bottom line is someone posted something that is anti-Semitic!" Tomson said. "We as a community can point fingers but I think we are stronger when we show we all reject hate speech regardless of what group it is aimed at. That’s how I choose to live and I hope you all do the same."

It is unclear what was stated on the flier found in Hillsborough.

Last year, fliers proclaiming "Our Generation," "Our Future" and "Our Last Chance" and featuring a simple logo of a teal triangle with three lines that join the middle have been found in Bridgewater, Somerville, Morristown, and surrounding areas.

The logo featured on those fliers was a symbol for the white nationalist group, Identity Evropa, which focuses on the preservation of "white American culture" and promoting white European identity.

The white supremacist group Identity Evropa has been spreading their messages in communities across Northern and Central Jersey in July 2018, targeting the towns of Somerville, Bridgewater, Morristown, Bedminster, Basking Ridge, Bernardsville with anti-Semitic and racist fliers, Melanie Robbins, director of Community Engagement, Anti Defamation League (ADL) New York / New Jersey, said at the time.

If it's unclear what was on the flier, then why report anything? So far it seems to be lots of sound and fury signifying nothing.

Good question, Jim.

Award-winning watchdog reporter Nick Muscavage was afraid that if his report actually showed the image of this "disgusting anti-Semitic" flier, his readers would laugh at him.

Your understanding that ridicule is a very powerful tool in the arsenal of propagandists shows, the editing you made is a lot more entertaining.

SLCC hit with white supremacist propaganda again, experts say incidents on the rise

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 News) – For the second time in four months, Salt Lake Community College administration received reports of white supremacist propaganda on their campuses.

In a statement to ABC4 News Tuesday, school officials said ‘community members reported that unauthorized postings containing content counter to the college’s values were placed in front of SLCC’s South City Campus’ on Sunday.

Joy Tlou, Director of SLCC Public Relations, said additional postings were found at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus and all unauthorized postings were removed. He stated a vandalism report was filed with Utah Highway Patrol and the Department of Public Safety and is currently being investigated.

SLCC President Deneece G. Huftalin issued the following statement to the college on this incident:

“We are aware of two incidents of vandalism over the weekend on the South City and Taylorsville Redwood campuses. Please be aware that we will always take appropriate steps to keep such incidents from disrupting our campuses as we continue to create and maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment conducive to student learning and success.”

The Anti-Defamation League said propaganda can be flyers, stickers, book inserts, banners, or any form to get a group’s name and message out into the community and media.

“White supremacist groups believe there is a need for whites to live separately. If they’re living in a society where there are not only whites, they want to dominate that society,” said ADL Regional Director Seth Brysk. “There’s a belief in the superiority of what they term as ‘white culture’ or whites genetically over other groups.”

Sunday’s incident is part of nearly a dozen reports in Utah recorded by the Anti-Defamation League. Last year, ADL reported 24 incidents. Experts said they’re seeing an increase in white supremacist propaganda in and around a college campus, with a 7 percent increase last academic year and a 77 percent increase the year before.

“They’ve really ramped up their efforts to try and recruit and try to expose themselves to young adults – people who are just now forming aspects of their identity and forming their opinions about the world,” said Brysk. “Any movement is going to benefit from the recruitment of new leadership, new blood, new membership.”

Brysk said Utah is the third highest state in the number of white supremacist recruitment incidents that ADL has tracked over the last year, following California and Kentucky.

“The increase in these incidents, some it of it dates back to the presidential campaign of 2016. There was coarsening of the debate. There was sort of a sense among these extremist groups that this was a time for them to expose themselves more widely, more publicly,” said Brysk. “They tended to take certain signals from some of the rhetoric of the campaign and thought that this was a moment for them to try and become more mainstream.”

Experts said white supremacist groups often cloak themselves in patriotic message. The most recent incident at SLCC targeted undocumented immigrants in messages printed in red, white, and blue.

“They are very careful about what they say and how they say. They even use patriotism, America, within the names of their groups. They talk about issues that are would ordinarily seem like legitimate points of debate,” he said. “They use these as sort of an entry point before they expose people to their more radical program, their bigoted program and the types of things that they really stand for.”

So what should someone do when encountering white supremacist propaganda on campus? Brysk recommended reporting it to school administration immediately.

“These are not necessarily issues of free speech. Campuses are often private institutions. They have rules and regulations about how information can be disseminated on campus and in many instances, this is in violation of that,” he said.
"Undocumented immigrants?" Experts say the proper terminology should include "shitskin invaders" and not the touchy-feely nomenclature used for pulling the wool over the eyes of gullible lemmings and confirming the Semitically-correct narrative anti-White bigots swallow without any further thought. Even "illegal immigrants" tells any thinking men and women that with the stroke of some corrupt politician's pen, the refuse of the Third World could be made citizens and then be considered our so-called 'equals.'

Their "experts" are idiots. Even private colleges can't violate civil rights. If they were able to make up their own rules, then it would be possible to have an all White campus. The only way it can be even vandalism is to place stickers where the glue defaces the property.

Their "experts" are Jews who view everything from their own egocentric perspective. God's Chosen and all that hokum. Folks like us with a heightened consciousness of our own peoplehood are having our so-called rights violated by public and private concerns. Especially those institutions of higher indoctrination and Semitical Correctness are some of the chief perpetrators.

It's kind of funny, but conservatives are feeling the same bite as we are---FINALLY! Let them suffer for compromising our principles and our race's interests. The smart ones in that set, such as they are, may even figure out that our Cosmotheism and National Alliance program is about all that will get them through these dark times---that, and the will to put their posteriors on the line to help us organize, staff, and push our revolution to success. But I won't hold my breath for that crowd, they whine too much.

Complaint upheld against 'racist' pamphlet

A complaint about a racist pamphlet that is derogatory toward Māori has been partly upheld by the Advertising Standards Authority, which says it must be removed from circulation.

The leaflet, titled One Treaty One Nation, was dropped in letterboxes in the Auckland suburb of Pt Chevalier in April. It called for the Waitangi Tribunal and Māori electorates and wards to be scrapped.

It claimed "the benefits of colonisation for Maoris, lifting them out of a violent Stone Age existence, far outweighed any negative consequences" and called for "an end to the stranglehold that one minority group has over the culture and life of a nation".

The pamphlet also said the "Maori people ceded sovereignty to Queen Victoria in 1840".

Pt Chev resident Emma Vere-Jones complained to the Advertising Standards Authority, saying the leaflet was racist and made misleading and false statements.

Her complaint was partly upheld, with most of the board agreeing the reference to the supposed "benefits of colonisation" was likely to cause serious offence and thus breached the Advertising Standards Code.

The majority of the board said the statement was condescending and derogatory to Māori.

A minority disagreed, calling it an expression of political opinion.

References to one group having a "stranglehold" over the culture and life of a nation, and to the Māori people "[ceding] sovereignty to Queen Victoria" were found to be expressions of political opinion and did not reach the threshold to be considered offensive, the ASA said.

Overall the board found the leaflet breached the code because it was not socially responsible.

The pamphlet's creator, 1Law4All, had argued the pamphlet was not racist, and should not be considered advertising because it was not placed in the "media".

However, an updated version of the ASA's code says ads are any message controlled by an advertiser communicated with the intent to influence those to whom it is addressed.

The board agreed under that definition the pamphlet was an advertisement.

In 2017 the same leaflet was distributed in Wellington. Newshub reported at the time it was published by John McLean, who wrote the book One Treaty, One Nation.

In its just-released decision the ASA required the advertisement to be withdrawn.

In April Emma Vere-Jones told the Herald she had struggled to find the right avenue for a complaint.

Justice Minister Andrew Little told the Herald he felt the pamphlet was racist and its author was "an ignorant fool".

He believed the matter was one for the Human Rights Commission but the commission said its governing act limited what it could do.

Little is overseeing a review of hate speech law.
Thought Crime, it's no longer the subject of novels anymore.

Anti-Immigration flier found on UNO campus

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — An anti-immigration flier was found on UNO's campus over the weekend, according to The Gateway, UNO's student newspaper.

The flier urges people to report "any and all illegal aliens" and shows a caricature of an officer pointing a gun to the back of somebody crossing the border line.

According to The Gateway, the flier was discovered in the west garage and reported to Student Government. Student body president and student regent Aya Yousuf issued the following statement:

“One of my favorite things about being a Maverick is the welcoming and inclusive community that I have witnessed and continue to witness here on campus. UNO prides itself on being an inclusive and diverse community and I truly believe in those values. With that being said, this flier does not exemplify UNO’s culture of inclusion and diversity. I’m proud that UNO Public Safety and administrations have made it their priority to welcome students of various backgrounds and are assisting in this matter. Student Government, as well as other campus resources, are always here to welcome and support students regardless of identification.”

The Gateway adds that the student who found the flier has asked not to be named. The flier is reportedly being circulated by The Daily Stormer, a Neo-Nazi website, and their name is right on the flier. The Gateway also reports that the Daily Stormer did something similar last year.

Sam Petto with University Communications said the flier was not stamped for approval and should not have been posted on campus based on its content. He added that posting a flier like this is also a policy violation and does not speak to the diversity and inclusion values upheld by UNO.

UNO Public Safety Officials are attempting to make contact with the people responsible for hanging the flier as it does not meet the required standards for advertising materials on campus. The responsible people could be banned or barred from campus.
So Sam Petto, government official, are you saying you would censor this flyer based on its content if it were submitted through your various hoops for posting approval on campus??
