Report from the National Office

Some of you know that FF and I visited the Alliance National office this week. After a long, eventful trip, I am pleased to report that Alliance operations in Tennessee are being carried out in a very professional fashion, and I was impressed by everything I saw.

The Chairman and his wife were quite hospitable and it almost felt like the visit was more about pleasure than business - although, of course, the latter was always everybody's main focus.

We highly encourage all members to visit the National Office and lend a helping hand for there is much work to be done in Tennessee, but too few hands on deck. (Just remember that visits are by invitation only.)

I learned many new things from the Chairman, who again confirmed to me that he is not only a competent organizer, but a decision-maker of the first rank. We've got a plan which I believe will help carry the Alliance into the future, so you can all look forward to new growth, progress, and evolution as Cosmotheism demands.

Thanks, RC. The sacrifice and logistics it takes for two members to visit Upper East Tennessee from California (5,200+ miles roundtrip) for a week, is admired by the National Office. Our staff enjoyed your company and appreciated the much-needed volunteer labor you contributed on a couple of projects.

As another user who recently returned (thank you, Freya for the packing advice I solicited from you), I would definitely recommend going there, especially if you’re stuck in a city that has demographics with little to no opportunity for leafleting (as I am for the time being), and *especially* if that applies and you’re a member who’s a big strong man under 40, because there’s much heavy manual labor to do and not enough hands on deck.
Living in a very bad area, I cannot spread the flyers, so aside from my modest monthly contributions, going out there to lend a hand in whatever way a little ol’ dame like me could was really the only way I could be useful to the Alliance. And I do mean *little* when I describe myself.
So if a woman as little as me can make the trip and pitch in, I challenge the younger men to do what they can, especially if they don’t live in an area where leafleting and recruiting are realistic or feasible. Man up, fellas. I’d hate to think I have more balls than you boys. Take your significant other if she’s up to it, because there’s stuff we can do there as well.

Bonus: you may never know who else might just happen to be invited…such as a distinguished author, perhaps, as was the case when I was there!

Thanks, "little lady." You were helpful in your own way while visiting the National Office. No sooner had you departed back to Texas than one of our "big strong male members under 40" arrived from the Midwest to volunteer his labor for a week or so -- just in time to begin by lending a hand, helping our staff with "man's work" of hefting 90+ 80-pound bags of concrete, then mixing w/water by hand and forming into a couple of good-sized pads.

I had responded to this yesterday morning, SW, thanking you for pitching in -- but the electricity went off after a big tree fell and took out our power line. What I'd written was lost before I could send <poof!>. Don't you hate when that happens? That reminds us of our dependency on electricity to use the Internet.

That’s wonderful news about the Midwestern man heading out there to do the work that usually goes to the wetbacks who take away honest work from White men, with the help of the enemy and other greedy employers. I sure hope you don’t let those cockroaches anywhere near your property, Will. It only takes one of them to ruin the surroundings and White flight ensues…I’ve seen it happen all too often.

I am glad you invited me to pitch in what I could, and was honored when you and your wife, Lana greeted me and then later bade me happy trails. As you’re aware, I have some affairs to get in order, but I’ll be back there once that’s all settled.
