showed one approaching the other, throwing him to the ground, before
both went their separate ways. Some 50,000 views and 20,000 shares later,
the video was taken down by the mother of the assaulted teenager on the
advice of local police. The reason? Many of the (hundreds of) comments
below the video focused on ethnicity: the aggressor was black, the victim
was white, and the discussion veered into a spiraling storm of abuse,
much of it anti-immigrant.
